Kara continued to drink as sans froze up. A blush spread across his face but before he could reply grillby brought them their burgers.

Kara picked hers up, but before she could eat it sans shakily said "y-ya want any ketchup on that?"

Kara considered this before shaking her head. She slowly at the burger. Sans lifted up the bottom of his mask slightly and ate too.

It was silent between them for a while before sans spoke up.

"You find me... Attractive?"

Kara paused, blushing slightly and looking.

"Uh, well, I guess, like I mean, uhh..." She trailed off. Really, nothing she could say could take back what she had said. Sans wouldn't forget that.

She quickly took a big bite out of her burger. Sans seemed conflicted, tapping his fingers on the counter before speaking up.

"I find you attractive too"

If Kara's face could get any redder, she would become a tomato. Her eyes widened and her body froze before she forcibly relaxed.

Awkwardly, she put her plate down and stood up. "Let's go back, they are waiting for us"

Sans nodded, putting out his hand. After a moment she took it, and felt the sick sensation as they warped back.

"We found out the truth... But at the cost of one of our lives?" Abby was talking to herself. Devon leaned up against the rock wall next to her listening.

"Was it worth it?"

"I think everyone in our group is thinking that" Devon spoke up. "We are all wondering: was it worth it?"

"I don't want to speak to you" Abby muttered. "You've been so selfish ever since we came here....."

Devon paused, unfolding his arms and walking in front of her.

"I'm just worried abbs" he said with conviction. "I don't want anyone to get hurt, it's hard to trust anyone when we are in somewhere we are unfamiliar with"

Abby took this in before sighing. "I get it Devon, I do. But please, can you at least try to calm yourself?" She took his hands. "For me?"

Devon's face became a bright red and he avoided her gaze. "Uh, sure"

"Thank you"
