Naruto woke up with a splitting headache. Everyone surrounded his bed.

"HUMAN! The great papyrus is sorry!" Papyrus apologised, and Naruto sat up, rubbing his head gingerly. "No, no... It's OK, paps...."

"You were bleeding from your eye!" Rebecca exclaimed, and James nodded. Naruto chuckled. "Don't worry, it's nothing" but as he said that blood trickled from his eye socket. Everyone began to freak out. Sans was oddly silent. (He had his disguise back on too)

"Urgh, come on guys, your crowding him! Look, all of you, get out. Sans, could you get me a wet cloth and a roll of bandages?"

"Heh, sure" (sans teleported out)

After some whining, the rest walked out.

Sans came back in with the towel and bandage, but before he walked out, spoke.

"Check if his soul is damaged"

Then he was gone.

Confused, mia dabbed away the blood pooling up in Naruto's eye. She wrapped the bandage around his head.

"T-thanks" Naruto mumbled, sitting up straight and trying not to scream at the pangs that shot through his his eyes every so often.

"Now, he said that I have to check your soul. How do I do that?"

"Maybe I just will it out?" Naruto asked rhetorically, puffing his chest out and clenching his eyes shut.

When he opened them he beamed. A crimson heart that pulsed with energy hovered in the air. But smething was wrong, a small, dark crack ran through the middle.

Mia gasped and touched it, not realising what she was doing.

As her hands hovered over the crack, they glowed a soft pinky purple and Naruto saw it heal slightly.... But not fully. Naruto choked out a small sob.

"W-why is it cracked?! Am I dying?! Am I broken?! Am-"

Mia hugged him. She nestled her face into his hair as he froze.

"You aren't broken naru-kun, and you aren't dying, I promise. I won't let you die" mia said sincerely. "You gotta stay strong"

"O-okay" Naruto whispered, blushing. As she pulled away she gasped.

"The crack-its healed!"

"How?"

"Maybe we should hug more often!" She sent him a flirty look.

"Or maybe we should-"

"AHHH!" Naruto shrieked in embarrassment, burrowing under the covers, causing mia to laugh loudly, a small blush painting her face too.
