Kakashi POV

As we all began to eat, I stopped to notice that Kay hadn't touched his food. "Are you going to eat?" I asked him. He shook his head no and took off the purple flower that was in his mask. He sighed and looked at it thoughtfully, "I was gonna ask you about that flower." Tsunami said sitting down at the table. "They only grow on the trees deep in the forest." Tsunami finished. Kay looked up at her, "Me and Kirin went for a stroll, and we happened to see them. I thought they were pretty so I decided to keep one."

"Aww man! I would've liked to go!" Naruto said in a disappointed voice. "Yea, those flowers are pretty! Why didn't you take us huh!?" Sakura yelled rudely. "Well Kirin can only carry two people tops, and I wouldn't wanna disturb one of my other summons for the likes of you." Kay snapped. He then stood up and rolled his eyes at everyone, "I've lost my appitite." He said walking away. We soon heard the front door open and close, showing that Kay left the house.

Then after quickly eating Sasuke stood up, and walked after Kay. "Sasuke!? Where are you going!?" Sakura yelled after him getting up, and then going after him. "Wait! Sakura-chan!" Naruto yelled going after the team. I sighed and continued eating.

Kay POV

I used my chakra to hop onto the roof of the house, and then sat down. I slightly lifted up my mask, and touched my face with two fingers. I lifted my fingers from my face and looked at them, they were covered in a black liquid. "Of course..." I said sighing. I soon heard footsteps and quickly fixed my mask and cleaned my hand with my cloak.

I looked down to see most of of team seven, "I'm up here." I said. "Oh! Hey Kay!" Naruto said in surprise. I jumped down from the roof and looked at everyone, "Hey, wanna see something cool?" I asked them. "Yea dattebayo!" Naruto said excitedly. Sakura just rolled her eyes at me, while Sasuke didn't say anything. I reached into the pocket of my cloak, and pulled out a small vile. It had a small glowing ball inside, "What's that?" Sakura and Naruto asked. "Quiet! Just watch!" I snapped. I opened the vile and put the ball on my hand, then I threw it into the air. "Here take these." I tolled them as I handed them each a special kind of gas mask. "What do we do with them?" Naruto asked. "Just put them on!" I told them.

They all quickly put them on, then right after the ball exploded into a million little glowing specks. "Woah...." they all said in awe. "What is it?" Sakura asked. "It's a Night Spore. They explode so they can spread the Night plant seeds farther." I said calmly. "Then why do we need the masks?" Naruto asked. "Well they're poisonous-" "WHAT!?" Naruto and Sakura yelled. "Yea, the air the plants produce is poison." I stated. "If they're poison then shouldn't you not be spreading them around!?" Sakura yelled. "they can't grow in this environment, so we're fine." I said calmly. "Wait Kay, don't you need a gas mask!?" Naruto yelled in panic. I shook my head, "No, I'll be fine." I said.

"How?" Sasuke asked, "Just trust me, I'll be fine." I said. Then right after Kakashi stepped outside to see the spores. "OH NO!!! HE DOESNT HAVE A MASK!!! KAKASHI-SENSEI IS GONNA DIE!!!" Naruto yelled and Sakura shrieked. I laughed as Naruto explained the spores to Kakashi, and soon enough he began to panic as well. "Calm down, it takes five minute for them to kill you. Here." I said throwing him a mask. He quickly put it on and walked over to us.

"Kay, where did you get these 'Night Spores'?" Kakashi asked. "From the poison jungle, there's an old teleportation mark there that no one uses anymore. I discovered it and soon enough I just claimed it as my own. No creatures can survive except the insects." I finished. "What do you mean insects!?" Sakura yelled panicking. "Oh, huge ones some as big as the leaf village." She screeched at my response and fainted. We all laughed. "So, how do survive? I mean you don't wear a mask." Sasuke asked looking at me. I chuckled, "I have my ways, besides don't worry about me," I said getting them all to look at me strangely. "You're all way more important than me anyways." I said smiling.

My ideas for most of this chapter are from Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind! Such a good movie! I love it! But anyways hope you enjoy!
