"So, how is everything Y/N?" Said Tsu as she drank her coffee. You both were catching up at the cafeteria. You grabbed a chef salad to eat and have lunch with Tsu, but it felt like she was trying not to stay long.

"Everything's good, aren't you going to eat anything Tsu?"

"Uh, well is uh....is Tamaki going to be joining us?" You did your best to hide your irritation of her unreasonable fear.

"He won't be joining us because he is staying behind for extra lessons. So don't worry and grab yourself some food." Tsu looked down as she got up to get in line for food. You felt bad for your tone of voice but this was just getting on your nerves. Your friends were walking on eggshells around you to make sure Tamaki wasn't nearby. Even Eijiro kept his distance, even though he said Tamaki was probably just a pawn. Tamaki began to ask about why there weren't a lot of meetings of your friends like before. Again you had to lie and say they were just busy with projects and are trying to stay off campus more so a lot stay with their parents on the weekends. He didn't mind much, he was just happy you were safe. And he liked having just you and him in the apartment. It felt like you two were living together. But if you reminded him of that he'd start blushing again. 

Tsu came back with a pasta bowl and sat across from you. She looked guilty, knowing how this whole ordeal has been pissing you off these past few days.

"Look Y/N, I'm sorry about what's happened but please understand why we chose this." She said as she pushed the noodles around in the bowl, refusing to make eye contact. 

"I get it, believe me. But, there's no concrete evidence. The only lead you have is that we know that Tamaki was the last person of the group to be with Hagakure. The rest of the bodies are only vaguely tied to him. I mean, both Neito and that boba guy pissed me off and no one thought I had anything to do with it. It just feels like you're picking on him because he hasn't known the group for very long. Both of those guys had a laundry list of people who hated them. We can't make every one of those people a suspect either."

"That's true... it's just when everyone started coming to the same conclusion, it was hard not to panic."

"Yeah, but we're not the police. We don't have all the information on the cases and if we start to point fingers we're just gonna cause more chaos."

"You're right, I'm sorry. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared of him though. It might take me a few days to face my fear and move back in." She said half heartedly.

"That's okay Tsu, I'm glad you're making an effort. While you take your time I'm sure Ochako won't mind having extra company in her dorm."

"Yeah, oh! I forgot to mention. The night Hagakure disappeared? Ochako said she never made it back to the dorm that night. She called and called and eventually called me but I was asleep so I didn't hear it until the next day."

"Oh geez, that's....weird. Tamaki said he dropped her right off at her dorm building, right by the door."

"Yeah...."

"So then, either she was nabbed on her way to the dorm...."

"Or Tamaki never made it to her dorm building." Your eyes widened at the realization. There was no technicality that could cover this. The dorm building is all women. No coed dorms were allowed and men can't be there passed a certain time because the R.A would write them up. Unless she went back out to get something?

No, Hagakure isn't stupid enough to do that at that hour and with everything going on. Tamaki...he wouldn't right? He couldn't....he, he said he never knew of her disappearance until you told him. But,  did he? And you hated to admit it, but the reporters said the bodies were not simply slashed. The parts of meat were perfectly sliced and removed. Like the killer had experience butchering pigs.

And Tamaki is pretty good with a knife.

Fear began to rise in your belly, this time so intense it was making you nauseous. The loud chit chat of the cafeteria turned into low buzzing in your ears as you closed your eyes. Your hands gripped the table as you tried to remain calm.

No. Please no. Please don't let it be true. You could feel your breathing get more raggedy as you thought of your beloved. His sweet innocent smile turned into a sadistic grin, the flowers in his hands replaced with a knife, and the clean couch where you both spent so many afternoons cuddling was now drenched in blood. Your blood.

You opened your eyes when Tsu grabbed your hand. "Breathe Y/N. It'll be okay. Try to keep some distance from him for now." You nodded a little before looking at your salad, your appetite suddenly gone.

"Why didn't you tell me this sooner?"

"I wasn't sure if you wanted to hear it. When we first told you our theory you were pretty mad."

"Well yeah because there was no concrete evidence. Just small things tied to him and a lot of other people. But this is big. I can't find an explanation for it."

"Yeah, any sane explanation at least."

You sighed loudly as you packed your salad in your bag, hoping maybe your appetite will come back later. "So, what can I do now? I don't wanna draw any unnecessary attention. Especially now that...Tamaki really does seem suspicious.

Tsu thought about this, thinking of a way to keep her friend safe. "Come over for a girl's night, but don't tell him where. I'll pick you up and we'll decide where to go on the way."

Just then, you got a text. From Tamaki.

Hey bunny! Just finished
my lesson and learned a new
technique! I'm gonna make
it for dinner tonight! <3

You read the text, wondering how this sweet person could also be the butchering murderer. You swallowed hard before replying.

Hi Tama! I'm sorry the girls
invited me for a girl's night.
Maybe we could try it when I
come back?

No worries bunny! They
can come over too. I'm
sure they'll love it!

"Tsu, what do I do now?" You said while showing her the text.

"I don't know...."

You thought about it for a moment before coming up with a quick lie.

I'm sorry honey! Momo made
a reservation for us at some
fancy restaurant tonight. I'm
sure your meal will come out great!

Oh, okay bunny. Have fun
I'll miss you <3

You sighed with relief as he bought that. You hurried back to your apartment to grab a change of clothes and a few things before hurrying back to Tsu's car. This will buy you a day, but you aren't sure how you're gonna be able to distance yourself more from him without making suspicious...
