The following weekend you and Tamaki spent the afternoon chilling in front of the tv. As he got up to grab the popcorn from the microwave you heard a notification ring from your phone. It was from the news app on your phone. Your parents insisted you download the local news app to stay safe since you moved a few hours away. You almost swiped away the notification when you saw the headline...

"Body of a man discovered in the local river."

"What was that bunny?" Tamaki asked, overhearing you repeat the headline.

"Look at this Tama, some guy's body was found not too far from here."

"That's weird, I didn't hear of anyone going missing in the news."

"Do you think.....?"

"That....? He was killed? I doubt it bunny. No need to get scared. For all we know he probably fell and drowned."

You gasped as you read the actual article. The reason the name of the corpse was not said was because the body was mutilated, pieces of muscle and bone missing. The police would have to ID the cadaver through its teeth. You showed the article to Tamaki, worried if there really is a killer on the loose.

"That's horrifying bunny! I know you're scared, but the article says it might not be a killer. It might be a wild animal too."

"That's true. I mean that would explain why some pieces of the guy are missing..."

"How about this bunny: if you stay on campus too long no matter where I am just text me and I'll walk you to your car."

"No it's okay Tama, I shouldn't be too scared. It's not like it happened on campus ya know?"

"Yeah, but let's just keep an eye out okay bunny? It's the first time I ever heard anything this bad happening close to campus."

"Yeah, we should keep an eye out just in case." He smiled softly as he hugged you. His embrace was warm as lightly kissed the top of your head.

"Don't worry too much bunny. Let the police do their work and the reporters will give us an update soon." You nod, trying to shake away the nerves you still had. "I'm nervous too bunny, it's okay to be nervous." He held your hand before he opted to simply pull you into his lap. You hugged him in gratitude at his kind gesture. Tamaki is nothing short of a prince. He knew what you needed. As he held you he turned to watch disney plus, and played a few cute disney shorts to take your mind off of it. You snuggled into him as he kissed your forehead.

Tsu ran into the living room not too long after and said "did you guys hear about the dead body near campus?!" Your ears perk up at hearing those words, your body going a bit stiff at remembering the gruesome details in the article. Tamaki glared at Tsu, his hard work in calming you down thrown to the side. He sighed as he nodded and signalled to you. Tsu almost immediately understood- you in optimum snuggle position, 'Dug Days' playing in the background, Tamaki holding you like a small child: you got spooked by the news. Tsu bit her lip, feeling a little guilty about it.

"Sorry Y/N, should I make some hot cocoa?" Asked Tsu as a peace offering.

"No it's okay Tsu, I shouldn't be so rattled up about it." You said as you got up from the couch. You opted to order in some food instead of cooking. Tamaki of course offered to make something but you were in the mood for some junk food. He laughed as he admitted he wanted some too. You decided to go to a fast food place with Tamaki and Tsu and ordered a few burgers with fries and a few drinks. You all decided to eat them at home while watching a new disney movie that came out.

Soon Tsu and you got a text from a group chat. It was Kirishima.

Hey guys, anyone hear
from Bakugo? We were
gonna meet to study but
I haven't heard from him.

Haven't heard anything sorry!

Me either...

Kacchan always answers
his phone though...

I called 4 times but he
hasn't answered. I'm
getting worried.

Lol you think he got drunk?

No, not really.

The group started to get nervous, offering to check his dorm and Izuku even offered to drive to his house since they're neighbors. You texted them to relax and wait a little longer, his phone might have just died amd he doesn't have a place to charge it.

The Kirishima mentions that he's been trying to reach him since last night.

Immediately you connect the body by the river to Bakugo. The reporters weren't allowed to take a picture of the body for obvious reasons but, they said it looked like a young adult male. You and Tsu catch each others gaze, your blood running cold at the possibility.

"What's going on?" Asked Tamaki. He wasn't in the group chat so you showed him the texts. As he read them his eyes grew wider and wider. He too remembered the article as he looked up at you. His hands holding the phone began to tremble as he connected the dots.

"You don't think...? T-That the b-body was...h-him?"

"I don't know baby, but Tsu and the whole group had been calling him and even emailing him. He hasn't answered anything.

The group spread out and headed to his dorm, the cafeteria, the library, the park, the gym, the game room, and they even checked the lost and found for his phone. They looked all over campus and Izuku drove to his parents house to check if he was there.

Nothing.

Not a single sign of Bakugo. His dorm was untouched, as if he never entered his dorm. His bed was fully made, his desk had his books for his classes, and his roommate said he never came back last night. Fear set in the group as they could not find traces of him on campus. Momo decided to contact campus police on the matter, hoping they can do something about it. Everyone decided to have their headquarters at Tsu's and your apartment since it was closer. They contacted everyone Bakugo knew. Which unfortunately was not many. He didn't like many people, and most of the few he liked were in this group of friends.

The gang stayed together until nightfall, worried over their dear friend. You made them all some hot cocoa and cake you cut into slices for them. The gang exchanged a few words as they kept texting, calling, emailing, and finding any other way to contact him. Their faces were grim and worried, thinking the worst has happened to their friend. Izuku came back a few moments later, giving the gang a ray of hope.

"Izuku, please give us some good news. What did his family say?" Asked Tenya, his voice wavering in tone.

Izuku only sighed as he hung his head low.
"Guys they....they didn't even know he was missing. They have no idea where he could be...and they...they called the police but they're still with the police giving their statements."

A small gasp spread around the group. Where could Bakugo be?
