"Something wrong Lavi?" Lenalee lee asked with worry as she looked to the older exorcist who went missing yesterday evening.

"Me? I'm great. You guys will never guess what happened last night, as I was walking back to my room I passed one of the halls and well some of our lady finders were stretching. And boy did I get a good view from where I stood" Lavi lied with a bright smile, a new eyepatch over his right eye and his red headband back on his head keeping his bangs out of his face.

"You disgust me" Allen sighed, shaking his head over his friend actions. 

"Oh come on, like you don't feel the same when it comes to food. At least my hobby shows I'm a healthy man" Lavi grinned back, crossing his hands behind his head as the three walked towards the dinning hall for breakfast.

"You're lucky no one's jealous lover or angry husband has killed you yet" Allen shot back and Lavi just shrugged.

"Are you sure you're alright? No one heard from you and well, you never showed up to eat either last night. Kanda knocked on your door before he went to bed but since you're not black and blue I'm guessing you didn't answer also meaning he might kill you later for not answering" Lenalee lee muttered, concern still in her eyes as she gave a small worried smile to her taller friend.

"I'm fine lenalee lee, I just got distracted and then ended up finishing up some of my bookmen duties before falling asleep in the library. It's not the first time and it won't be the last" Lavi smiled kindly, ruffling the girl hair a little to calm her worries over him.

"If you're sure but do go check with Kanda later. He seemed oddly worried in his own way. Its not normal for him to knock on your door to check you're alive instead of bashing it down to kill you over one of your jokes" Lenalee lee mumbled back with a brighter smile than before making Lavi nod in understanding. 

"Yeah, Kanda seemed slightly at unease when he noticed a broken eyepatch on the railings. But then again Kanda is an odd one from the start" Allen added a little as he scratched his chin.

"He's rather easy to understand, you've just got to know him well enough. After all he's just a wild beast who has been adopted by us. Just treat him like the killer beast he is and you'll survive" Lavi smiled and Allen gave an unsure look while Lenalee lee nodded in agreement.

This chapter was only half done and this story is just on hold but this has been the draft that's been left unpublished and floating as a untouched draft for some now. Best to let it be read.
