Nezu POV:

The kid who was a pro hero and a shadow was way to bright for himself. However I didn't expect him waiting for me in the office the very next morning I gave him the clue about the traitor. It could only mean one thing and that was that he just got what he needed. Besides I knew who he really was. Izuku Midoriya a kid who died when he was 4.

Me: Good morning!

Izuku: Morning.

Assessing the situation....

I like it.

Quite observat too.

I brought a tea set with me as well as a chess board over to where he was sitting right after I put my stuff down. The best way to get to know somene was over playing a party of chess. Tho I didn't had to be a genius to know that this kid would be quite the challanger.

Me: Do you want some tea?

Izuku: May I prepare it?

Me: Why would you want that?

Izuku: I wanted to know if my tea preparing skills would be good enough for your liking.

How do you know that I like tea?

You know what....

Not questioning it based on your Shadow job.

Me: Of course, go ahead!

I watched Izuku go through the tea selection I had with me and began mixing some of the tea leaves. He then proceeded in heating the kattle I had over the mini inductive stove build into the table. 

I watched how he carefully prepared two different sets of tea. One I assumed was for himself and one for me. It was such a nice and captivating sight seeing him work with such elegant. After the tee was done, he place both of the cups on the table to the side of his bed.

Izuku: I hope it to your liking.

I took a sip and my eyes widen.

This is godly!

I should have asked him to make it right away.

I watched Izuku sipping at his cup.

Me: This is one of the best teas I ever tasted.

Where did you learn to prepare it that way?

Izuku: Glad you like it.

Me: I have some questions for you.

Izuku: Why don't we play a game of chess and every time someone losses a piece the opponent will ask a question.

Such a brilliant idea.

And you sure knew that I wanted to play.

Why else would I carry a chess board with me?

HAHAHAHAHA

Me: All Right let me prepare the chessboard. White or Black?

Izuku: Black.

Me: Of course.

And so began our little chess game. I was seriously impressed. He never gave me a chance to even take one of his pieces except 5 pieces. In contrary to my miserable fail he took every single peace.

1 White Peace:

Izuku: Did you caught that idiot from the hero commission? I am sure Hawks already told you everything.

Me: Yes. Thanks to what you said, we could immediatly arrest him the moment he got home. However it turned out he went to an abandoned bar where the rest of the villains were found.

2 White Peace:

You are playing rather aggressive! This will cost you the game dearly.

Izuku: What happened to the other traitor?

Me: I am taking care of him right now. I had my assumptions and based on how he acted I now know that he was searching for you that day.

1 Black Peace:

Me: Why are you hiding your identity?

Izuku: I am not hiding but I am offically dead. I don't have anything to do with my past. I left it all behind me.

3 White Peace:

I sacrificed another piece in order to usher him in my trap.

Izuku: What do you want?

Nezu: I want to offer you a job.

Izuku: I decline.

4 White Peace:

So you saw the trap I placed...

No one ever did that....

Izuku: Can you do something so that I can stay in Japan? I kinda like it here. Not much stuff to do and I can relax a bit more.

Hm?

Why the change of topic so sudden?

Me: Of course. It would be my pleasure to have you here with us.

5 White Peace:

Izuku: Why would you do that for a stranger like me?

Me: You are a bright person and I have a feeling we would work together more often in the future.

6 White Peace:

Izuku: So I will be a Guinee pig for your curiosity?

Me: Oh hell no! You are not an experiment for my desires. I simply enjoy the company of a bright mind.

2 Black Peace:

Finally, I can ask him what I wanted to.

Me: Are you regretting being a shadow?

Izuku: No. Never did. To be honest with you... I like doing what I do and help out in the dark. The limelight isn't something for me.

We now didn't care who was taking which piece. Questions were asked one after another.

Me: I see. It is quite the honor to meet a bright mind like yours.

Izuku: Likewise!

Me: My offer still stands...

Izuku: Thanks but no thanks.

Izuku: Did you really meant what you said? You would go against the hero commission for that?

Me: Yes! It would be a pleasure for me to have you around as a teacher and for that I would glady take them on. I am sure Eraserhead would do the same.

Izuku: I don't want him in any danger and you won't have any problem dealing with them.

Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Izuku: I am not wrong tho.

Me: Nope you're not.

Izuku: Why do I feel like you'll make them regret taking me in....

Me: For no reasons...

Izuku: You sure?

Me: mhm.

Izuku: By the way...Check mate!

With that our game was over and I totally fell for his trap.

Me: You got me good there. It was such a brilliant trap. I didn't even realize it till it was too late!

Izuku: Well it is fun playing with you!

Me: You never stop amazing me Izuku.

Izuku: And why does it not surprise me that you know my name...

Me: Because I know everything.
