News Alert: The man behind Paris' attacks, Hawkmoth, has just been identified as non other than Gabriel Agreste; famous fashion designer. He was reported by Chat Noir on Monday night, and also called in an ambulance for Ladybug, the heroine of Paris. When Police arrived, the secretary lead them to the room, where Chat Noir and Ladybug were found, un-masked, across from Gabriel Agreste. We can now fully answer the question of "Who are the superheroes of Paris?" The crime fighting duo is non other than Adrien Agreste, son of Gabriel Agreste, and Marinette Dupain-Cheng, daughter of the owners of Boulangerie Patisserie. When paramedics arrived on the scene, Miss Dupain-Cheng was found with multiple assault and battery wounds all over her body. She was in the arms of Adrien Agreste, who seemed to have not been afflicted by any wounds. Gabriel Agreste was looked over, and showed signs of bruising. The whole story has not been spoken of at this time, but we will return once we have more details on this still unraveling story.

The anchorwoman stopped the recording, and walked back to the truck as the cameraman took some last shots of the two exiting the manor.

Paramedics had Marinette strapped to a gurney, and were bringing her into an ambulance.

Adrien tried climbing inside, but they stopped him.

"I'm sorry but you can't ride in the back. Police can drive you to the hospital." They told him. Adrien shot him a look, and the paramedic did not question him further. Adrien climbed into the back of the ambulance, and it roared off, it's sirens squealing away.

Adrien rode in the back, and he held onto Marinette's hand. An EMT put a breathing mask over her mouth, and pumped oxygen into her system.

"Her pulse is stable, although her breathing is fluctuating. She may have some broken ribs, or have punctured a lung. Internal bleeding is evident." He reported out loud. Adrien's grip only strengthened onto Marinette's frail hand.

The ambulance soon docked into the hospital, and she was being rolled inside.

Adrien tried to follow, but a nurse stopped him.

"Please, sir. We can't have anyone distract them right now. They need to work on her, and see what is wrong." She explained. Adrien didn't even realize he was crying.

"You don't understand. That's my lady." He told her.

"I'm sorry. As soon as her breathing is stable, we will let you see her. We can set up a private room for you so a crowd doesn't form." She told him. You could tell she was trying to be soft on him. He was young.

She set up an empty room in the nurses lounge, and got him some coffee. He drank it, and waited. He hadn't even realized he was still wearing his blue tuxedo. All nice and pristine, protected by the suit.

Adrien waited for half an hour before a nurse came in to fetch him. He soon realized why she was in a rush. Outside the lounge doors, was a crowd of reporters, all flashing cameras at him.

The nurse dragged him away, and they got to Marinette's room.

He walked in, and saw her now in a hospital gown. Her dress had been cut off, and the blankets were pulled up to her chest.

The noise from outside was now muffled by the closed doors. A doctor was also in the room.

"Adrien Agreste. I have some good news and bad news." He told him.

"Bad news. She sustained a couple of broken ribs, a punctured lung, and internal bruising. Also it seems that her past hip injuries have flared up, so she will be in pain from that again. Good news. She will make a full recovery. It will be slow and painful, but a recovery non-the-less. We called her parents, and they should be here soon. Who is your guardian other than Mr. Agreste?" He asked.

"Nathalie Sancoeur. She's listed as my second guardian if anything were to happen to Gabriel. You won't have to call her though. She's going to be fixing up the situation at the manor so the police are out as soon as possible." He assured him. Technically the doctor could not call the guardian to the hospital, so he would just give her the message that he is there and uninjured.

The doctor left the room, and the nurse checked Marinette over once more.

"You know. I have checked over her multiple different times. I always seem to have her as a patient. When she broke her arm, her leg, when she received bruised hips, and now with the broken ribs and punctured organs. I was also assigned as her personal nurse until she leaves the hospital. Get used to me, because I'll be watching her like a hawk." She assured him. It set Adrien's nerves a little, made him relax a little.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"Caroline." She said. She finished looking over her, and sat in the corner.

Adrien walked over to her side, and pulled up a chair. She held onto her hand, and looked at her. She was still unconscious, but the rithmic beep of the heart monitor and the IV made him feel a lot better about the situation. It could be worse. She could be dead.

Adrien sat next to her side for god knows how long, and soon someone opened the door. In came Sabine, then Tom, and then a police officer who shut the door preventing the reporters from seeing inside. He closed the door, and pulled the blinds down.

Sabine and Tom rushed over to Marinette's side, and looked her over.

"How is she?" Sabine asked the nurse.

"Everything is great. She's got some broken ribs and punctured organs, but we stopped the bleeding and externally placed the ribs back into place. She will make a full recovery." She told them positively.

"Thank god." Tom said.

The two worried parents looked across the bed to Adrien, who was holding her other hand.

"Thank you Adrien. I don't know what we would have done if she got hurt even worse." Sabine thanked him. But Adrien still felt guilty. He could have helped her. But he didn't. He didn't get there in time to stop the beating.

"I'm sorry. I could've gotten there sooner, just a couple minutes sooner and she would be fine. But now she's here, and it's all my fault." He apologized profusely.

"It is alright Adrien. You couldn't do anything more. You got her here, and that's all that matters. We are glad you got there before it got any worse." Tom told him. Adrien stayed silent.

The room was silent, and then they heard a knock at the window. They looked, and saw some hands holding onto the railing.

Adrien went over, and opened the door. In came Alex, with some sunglasses on.

"Is she alright?" She asked. Adrien nodded.

Alex opened her arms and gave him a hug.

"We went to the house and got Tikki and found Plagg on the floor. You left him there. He wants us to bring the jewelry back. So he can change them back to normal. Says it will bring out a lot of stress on them." She told him. He nodded, and pulled his ring off. Although he already knew it was the end.

"Hawkmoth is not a problem anymore. So I believe we aren't needed anymore?" Adrien said in the form of a question, but he already knew the answer.

"I'm afraid so. Ladybug and Chat Noir will disappear, and probably reappear in another country or continent. It will probably take a couple years for that to happen. There is always that one user that abuses the power." She told him.

"We will call you in case we need you to reamerge. You are going to take the position of temporary Ladybug and Chat Noir. Just how we did when the miraculous was passed onto someone else." She told him. He nodded. He leaned over Marinette, and removed the red pearl earrings. He handed them to her.

"Will we ever get to say goodbye to them?" He asked. Alex nodded.

"Tony will come back once Fu is finished fixing them, and you can say goodbye. But for now I have to leave." She said. He looked to the others in the room who watched.

"See you never." She said. She pocketed the ring and earrings, and jumped out of the window. Adrien looked out, and she was gone. He closed the window.

"I am inclined to believe she is the keeper of that jewelry?" Sabine pieced together.

"Not the keeper. Just the carrier. Although it seem like Marinette and I will be the carrier for now on. Or at least in a couple of years." Adrien told them quietly. He held onto Marinette's hand, and sat down.

The police guarded the door as everyone in the room watched over Marinette. It seems that the crowd has thinned out when the police arrived to shoo them. The police officer left the room to give everyone coffee, and he stood in front of the door again.

The night soon reached to daytime, and no one had slept. Sabine and Tom had rushed to the hospital, only halfway dressed. They were worried before when Marinette did not return from school, but this seemed to be the reason.

Adrien's phone buzzed, and he looked at it. It was Nino.

"Adrien speaking." Adrien answered.

"Adrien. Is everything true? It's all over the news." He asked. Adrien turned on the TV hung on the wall, and turned to the news channel. There he was, standing over Marinette as they wheeling her into the ambulance. And the anchorwoman reported everything.

"It's true. I'll call you back some other time. Right now we're waiting for Marinette to wake up." He ended the call and shut his phone off. As the TV blared it's news, Marinette began to stir.

She stretched a little, and her eyes opened. The first thing they landed on was the TV.

You could see her eyes adjust and her mind reset, and then you saw her eyes glued to the screen. She listened to everything they said. They had to have repeated it over three times.

Chat Noir is in fact, Adrien Agreste!
C
hat Noir is Adrien Agreste?
Adrien Agreste is Chat Noir!

The headlines said it so many times. She was stunned. It took her a moment to absorb what she said.

"Chat..." She said. She peeled her eyes away from the screen, and she saw her parents to one side. She felt another hand on the other side. He slowly turned her head, and saw Adrien.

She just kind of looked at him. The room was silent, and no one spoke. They just waited for her to speak.

"Chat?... Is that really you?..." She asked quietly, her voice was scratchy from screaming. Adrien nodded. Another tear dripped down his face.

"I'm sorry I didn't get there in time. You would have been so better off, and non of this would have happened." He apologized. The tears started to drip again. She absorbed what he said, and she reached an arm out. It rested on Adrien's face, an she wiped away a tear.

"As long as you're safe, I don't care." She told him. Adrien leaned over and kissed her forehead.

"You should sleep Marinette. You'll need your energy." He told her. She nodded.

"Will you explain what happened in the morning?" She asked this, even though the sun was about to rise.

"I promise I will tell you everything when you wake up." And Marinette fell back asleep.

Sabine and Tom were sitting on a small sofa against the wall, but Adrien laid his head on the bed. Marinette woke up, and moved her hand. Adrien sprung awake, and looked to her. She looked a lot better, and she seemed more awake. She tried to sit up, but fell back down to the pain.

"Stay like that Mi'Lady. You can't move around." He told her. She seemed to have another rush of memories. She realized what happened. A million thoughts were running through her mind. But she managed to slip out a question.

"Explain what happened. I'm all ears." She said. Adrien sighed. Sabine and Tom walked over and sat next to her.

"Do you feel okay? Are you in pain?" They asked. Marinette shook her head. She looked back to Adrien. His hand was still holding hers.

"You tried to take down the whole room, and you failed to knock out Hawkmoth. He shocked you, and brought you to his lair. Alex tracked you, and I got there. But by the time I got there, you were unconscious and un-masked. I fought Hawkmoth, and found out he was Gabriel. He found out who I was, and backed off. I called the police, and found out who you were. I held you until the EMT's got there, and I rode with you here. You've got broken ribs, and bruised everything. You had internal bleeding, but they stopped it. And while you're in here, reporters are swarming the hospital." He summed up. He left out the pieces of when he went crazy for another time.

Marinette's hand rose up, and touched her ear, now naked of any earrings.

"Where's my earrings?" She asked.

"Alex took them. Along with my ring. She's going to fix them, and Tony will bring Tikki and Plagg back so we can say goodbye. It's the end of Ladybug and Chat Noir, at least for now." He told her sadly. She looked extremely sad.

"But Tikki... I don't want to leave her. She's my friend. The one person I could talk to about anything. And she's gone." She looked so sad. She wasn't even sad that she was stuck in the hospital, or that her fighting days were over. It was the fact that she had to leave Tikki.

"Don't cry Mi'Lady. We'll see them again. Soon. And probably in the future after that. Alex promised." He told her. She sniffled, and nodded.

The doctor entered the room. It seems that the crowd was removed from the hospital.

He walked in and smiled to her.

"How are you Miss Dupain-Cheng?" He asked.

"Dull." Marinette answered plainly.

"It happens. The medication dulls your senses and emotions. You should be more aware of your surroundings in a couple of days." He checked her over, and left the room. Caroline walked in with a bag of liquid, and she changed out the IV and painkillers.

"You are going to feel absolutely amazing in a couple of minutes. The painkillers will do wonders." She joked to her, earning a little smile from Marinette.

"Who's watching the bakery?" Marinette asked.

"We closed. Until you're healed, we will only be open for a couple of hours at a time." Tom told her. Marinette shook her head.

"I am alright here. Keep the store going. We need the money. We are living off of our sales, and two months without money will put us in debt. Not to mention the medical bills. We will plummet. You need to keep the bakery open normal hours." She told them.

"The Agreste estate will pay for all the medical bills that arise. You just worry about the bakery and making sure you have enough money for food and other necessities." Adrien told them.

"You don't have to, really. We can pay it off." Sabine told him. But Adrien shook his head.

"Soon I'm going to inherit the Agreste estate. The bills will be paid off by me, and that's final. You just worry about your needs."

"Thank you. We deeply appreciate it." Tom thanked him.

"I think your mother and I will go home and get a shower and nap. We've been awake all night. Make sure you rest up." Tom told her. Her gently rubbed her head, and stood up.

"We'll be back later today. Since we have a bakery to run." Sabine promised. The police opened the door.

"I'm assigned to guard the Cheng family. I can stay at your bakery and scare off the reporters." He offered.

"Thank you. That would be amazing." Tom agreed. Sabine, Tom, and the officer left the room, leaving Caroline, Marinette, and Adrien.

"I'll go and get some food." Caroline excused herself.

Now it was just Adrien and Marinette. Marinette rubbed circles on Adrien's hand with her thumb.

Adrien smiled down at their hands.

"So you're Chat... and Adrien." Marinette said. Adrien nodded.

"Just Adrien now." He laughed weakly.

"I don't care. I mean, you two are the same, right?" Marinette smiled to him.

"You know Adrien, I've had a crush on you since the very first day you came to school. It's why I always stuttered around you." She confessed. Adrien cracked a smile.

"Good thing I've been confused on who I liked more. You or Ladybug. Turns out I just love you twice as much." He said. Marinette blushed. Somehow having it come out of an unmasked Chat made it a lot more dreamlike.

"Are you sure you like me? I'm pretty pathetic. I mean look at me. I managed to get myself caught." She joked slightly, suppressing a laugh as it would cause pain.

"I'm positive that I still love you the same. And you aren't pathetic. Think of it this way, if you hadn't been caught, Hawkmoth wouldn't have been caught." He said. Marinette frowned slightly.

"Are you sad?" She asked. Adrien looked down.

"I'm confused. I know why my father would do this, but it's just hard to fathom." He said.

"You know he's going to be tried for many crimes. Many of them include attempted murder, assault, battery, and probably fraud."

"Are you going to try him?" Adrien asked. Marinette shook her head.

"He knows his mistakes, and he can't do them again. I won't sue for the beating. But I can't help the police from filing reports of abuse and fraud. That's out of my hands. But I won't go out of my way to sue him, and I won't go as far as to lie about my injuries." She told him.

"I think you are being extremely nice given the fact that he beat you to crap." Adrien told her.

"I don't blame him. Be must have wanted something dear to him. It's not like he wanted more money. He owned everything. So whatever he tried to attain must have been important to him." She reasoned.

"He wanted to bring my mom back. She left him awhile ago, and he wasn't the same since. He really did love her. He thought that three miraculous could bring her back. But it just wouldn't work out."

Marinette rubbed his hand. "I'm sorry Adrien."

"It's alright. I think father going away is the best decision. And when he comes back, I'll give him another chance. I think what we need is a little space." He said.

"Are you going back home?" She asked. Adrien shook his head.

"I'm going to officially move into the hospital until you get out. And then I'm going to visit you everyday. I'll have Nino bring our homework, and if I need to, I'll do everything at your place and here." He declared proudly, making Marinette smile.

"I love you, Adrien." Adrien felt a little surprised, but he felt so happy.

"I love you, Marinette."
