Chat, Alex, and Tony hurried back to the dojo to think of a plan. The car was still moving, so they couldn't track her down at the moment. Chat ran inside, and Master Fu changed out his ring. Chat got dressed out of his tux and jumped back into his suit. He disintegrated a rock he found, and waited for the miraculous to time out.

"So I'll run in, grab her, kick ass, take names, and leave." Chat summed up as he walked in.

"More like we'll run in, sneakily grab her, and leave without making a noise." Tony corrected.

"Like hell. They took my lady. So I'll beat their ass." He said. Angrily. The group talked down a bit, and Adrien's suit timed out. He was now his normal self, but it didn't matter.

Alex went and got Plagg some cheese to recharge.

"Okay. So we know they are heading to his private headquarters. This is a good thing. Then we'll be able to pin point where he spends his time. Ladybug did a huge favor for us." Alex said, looking over some information.

"Good for us, not for her. She was already shocked. Who knows what else will happen?" Adrien pointed out.

"If you are adamant in going to save her, then I will allow you." Master Fu told him. This surprised Alex and Tony.

"But he's only 17." They said.

"And? He needs to do what he feels is correct. I have mixed feelings as well, but I think heart will save better than logic." He told them calmly. They didn't argue the point, and instead, they thought of ideas.

"Her mask will time out in about 30 minutes. That means we need to get in there quick. Quickly get in, quickly get out." Tony said. Adrien nodded. He felt pumped.

Alex paid attention to the tracker, and it finally popped up.

"She's in!" She said. She located the earrings.

"Weird. She's in the Agreste manor?" She said. Adrien looked shocked. Does his father have relations with Hawkmoth.

"Wherever it is, I'll go." Adrien said. "Plagg, claws out." Chat transformed. He now had his ears and normal ring. It seems the transformation would only last one go.

"Find a large stain glass window with multiple circles on it. She should be there. We had our doubts, but it seems the truth is out. If you sneak into the manor, you should be able to find her." Alex told her.

"Alrighty. I know that place well, so I should be quick." He said. He had his staff strapped to his back.

"Goodbye." He said. He jumped out of the window, and sprinted towards his house. He didn't even have enough capacity to think about the possibilities of why Hawkmoth was there. All he knew was that his lady was there, and is about to expose herself.

"Don't worry Mi'Lady. I'm coming."

Hawkmoth exited the car with a writhing girl in handcuffs and a bag over her head. They had to gag her mid rid because she was yelling so much.

As his bodyguards dragged her inside, Hawkmoth pointed to a little set up.

"Shackle her up there, and you can leave. I can take care of her from here." He told them. They cuffed her wrists and ankles together, and chains connected from the shackles to the floor. Even if she broke the chains, she wouldn't be able to run.

The bodyguards hooked her up, and left the room. Now it was just Hawkmoth, Ladybug, and thousands of white swarming butterflies.

"Nooroo. Transform." He said. His fake butterfly mask was replaced with a full face mask, and his normal purple tux sprouted moth accents all over.

He walked over to Ladybug, his can clicking every time it touched the floor. He grabbed the bag, and ripped it off. Her hair was all messy now, and she was a mess from struggling. But her mask was still on.

"Hmmm. I wonder if the mask comes off." He said. He reached for the mask, and tried to pull it off. But it was mended to her face. He smirked.

"A miraculous. I've never seen one like those before. Or maybe you changed them." He gently touched the red pearls in her ears.

"Hmm. Which miraculous could it be? The turtle? No turtles are green. The bee? Bees are yellow and black. The only other miraculous I can think of that has red is Ladybug. You seem to fit the body type. Slender, fit, dark blue hair, and a red and black theme." He figured out.

"How did you figure it out?" She asked.

"Don't be silly. All it takes is an up close look to figure out the real deal." He laughed. His butterflies swarmed around towards the window, eager to meet the light.

"How long do you have till your miraculous times out? An hour. Half an hour. Theoretically you should have timed out by now, but I guess you did something to alter it. But that doesn't matter. I can just remove them." He reached down to pull the earrings off, but Marinette tried to wiggle away. She used her legs to kick him right in the knee, nearly breaking it. He hunched over, and held his knee cap.

"You stupid little girl!" He yelled. He leaned on the cane and kicked her in the gut, making her curl up in a ball.

"Give me your miraculous!" He yelled. He walked back over to her, and tried to hold her down. But Marinette kicked back and punched as best she could with bound wrists and ankles. She managed to grab suit collar, and she tried to pull him down to the ground. But Hawkmoth had the advantage, and he got her loose.

He brought his cane up, and repeatedly beat her with it. She held onto her ribs and covered her head. He kept hitting her in the torso, and beating her knees.

He then turned to his foot, and kicked her multiple times. When she turned her back to him, he kicked her in the spin multiple times. All the thrashing ripped her dress in certain areas, and her hair got even more tangled up.

Once she stopped resisting so much, Hawkmoth stopped. He stepped back, and let her catch her breath for a moment.

"If you won't give me your miraculous now, then I would at least like to know you and Chat Noir's identities. Who could you be? Who is Chat? Tell me now!" He exclaimed. Marinette sat up slightly, and coughed violently. She could feel the horrible bruising all throughout her body.

"Go to hell." She spat. Her arms gave out and she settled for laying down.

Tikki was in her mind, unharmed since no damage was done to the actual suit. Everyone Marinette felt was only felt in Marinette.

'Hold on Marinette. I know you will get out of this.' Tikki cheered her on. She was extremely worried. Marinette had sustained many injuries, and she could risk breaking a rib.

"I am already in hell. Now. Who are you?" He asked again.

"Ladybug."

"What is your civilian name?"

"Go fuck yourself."

"You little bitch! Answer the question!" He yelled.

"My name is Go To Hell 87! Now shut the fuck up!" She yelled defiantly. She had a horrible headache now, and held her head.

"Who is Chat Noir!"

"I don't know!" She yelled. Hawkmoth stopped.

"You can't be joking. Of course you know his identity. You two have been together for two years, so you must know."

The room was silent, except for little echoing cries. Marinette held her knees as she laid on her side.

"I don't know who he is! And because of you, I never will!" She cried. She felt like giving up. She was in no condition to fight back physically, and the one person she had been secretly dying to know won't ever know who she is. She never had time to confess her love to Adrien or Chat. Never had the time to really think about who she loved more. And there was no way Hawkmoth would let her see Chat now.

"That's a bunch of bullshit. You can't be in a relationship with someone for two years and not know who they are." He said.

"Me and him aren't in a relationship. I hadn't even realized I liked him until a couple weeks ago. I have been dying to know who he is, but it's situations like this that scare me! Because I could put him in danger! So jokes on you fucktard! Because I know nothing about the real him!" She broke down crying. She was so sad. She couldn't take it.

The butterflies in the room became restless. They sensed the opportunity just like Hawkmoth. The white butterflies flew to his hands, but he denied them the ability to evilize.

"Not today. She can be useful with her free will." He told them.

Marinette had started to calm down, but still held the pain. And it only flared when she coughed or cried.

"What is your civilian form?" Hawkmoth asked again.

"I don't know. Maybe you can find the answer in your ass." She retorted. He rolled his eyes, and traveled across the room to grab a chair.

He dragged it across the room to her, and he placed her in it. She couldn't fight back. He grabbed some rope, and tied her hands to the rests, and her feet to the legs.

For good measure, he tied the ending part around her waist to secure her.

Her head bobbed down, and hung there limply. She heard a beeping come from the red pearls. She knew her time was nearing.

Hawkmoth grinned. "Close to the end. If you won't tell me your identity willingly, I can just stick around to find out." He cackled loudly. A tear slipped down her face.

"I am going to give you another chance to tell me who Chat Noir's real identity is. You can't expect me to believe the crap you are spewing." He said.

Marinette didn't answer him. She had no energy to speak. The pain pulsated through her body.

The room was filled with silence. Hawkmoth stopped over to her, and he dug his thumb into her ribs. She flinched, and she felt like her body was on fire. He pressed down harder, and she finally screamed out. Her hearing soon became fuzzy, and her vision was blurry.

She noticed her dazed nature, and let go. He pulled a swivel chair over in front of her, and he sat down.

"Let's just wait for the show."

Chat snuck his way past the cameras, and he looked around. She couldn't find anything.

'Maybe it's hidden.' He thought. He became so frustrated. Ladybug is going to transform soon, and he couldn't let that happen. His last idea was to go to Nathalie.

Chat jumped up from behind Nathalie in her chair, and he covered her mouth. She froze in fear.

Chat got close to her ear. "Listen here, and listen close. This is Chat Noir. You will show me the manor's completed plans, and show me where a room has been added. I'm looking for a large window with circle details." He whispered. She nodded quickly, and she placed her hands on the keyboard.

He watched her go through the private files protected by many passwords, and she pulled it up. She held her hand up, and pointed to an addition. The date was stamped. Two years prior to know, it was built. And it was built hidden from an areal view.

"You did us a great service Nathalie. Thank you so much. But I have to tie you up so you won't tell anyone I'm here." He apologized. He pulled her belt off, and used it to tie her arms behind her chair. Then used her jacket belt to tie her legs so they were off the ground.

He dragged her in the swivel chair from behind the computer to the middle of the room, far away from the computer.

"I'll be back to untie you." He promised.

He looked at the computer one last time, and then headed in the direction of where the room was.

Hawkmoth sat in his comfortable chair, and watched Marinette groan. Tikki was in her mind, profusely telling her how sorry she was. Tikki was holding on by just a strand.

'I'm sorry Marinette. I can't hold on any longer.' Tikki apologized. And Marinette felt it. Tikki popped out of her earrings, and the mask vanished. Marinette's head hung low. And Tikki was laying on the floor, exhausted.

Hawkmoth stood up so fast that his chair slide back across the room. He crouched down and picked up Tikki.

"A little kwami. How wonderful." He said. He threw her to the side, and walked over to Marinette. He couldn't see her face at the moment.

"Show me who you are Ladybug. Or are you afraid you are a wimp in real life." He said, his face just inches away from her head.

"I already know I'm a wimp." She took a pause to breath. "I can't fight without Tikki. Sure I could probably overpower a police officer, but never a miraculous holder." Another breath. "But I'd rather go to hell than let you find out who Chat is. I can always be replaced. But Chat can't. He deserves to be Chat more than I deserve to be Ladybug." She took another breath, and her voice fell flat. Hawkmoth held onto her chin, and tilted it up.

The sun hit her face, and Hawkmoth saw it. Marinette Dupain-Cheng. A friend of Adrien.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng. The daughter of the owners of the most successful bakery. Your bubbly, happy, and carefree. How did you end up becoming a superhero? You are genetically pathetic." He spat. She met his eyes, and tears welled in her eyes.

"I ask myself that question everyday." She laughed, some tears dripping down her face.

He smirked. "Humor to hid the pain. I see it all the time. That's not healthy you know. I have created many victims because they replaced their sadness with physical humor. It tends to fill the mind with horrible thoughts." He smiled.

"What a shame. You would be a fantastic puppet if you were able to walk. Or even be able to hold your head up." He chuckled. He let go, and her head bobbed down. She felt utterly useless now. He untied her from the chair, and threw her down to the ground.

"I shouldn't waste my chairs for people like you. It's a waste of a good chair." He dragged it back. Marinette was splayed out on the floor. Her back facing him.

"So how is your memory holding up? Do you remember Chat's identity yet?" He asked once more. Silence. He looked to her, and she wasn't moving.

"Oi! I asked you a question!" He yelled loudly. No flinch. No movement. He trudged over to her, and pocked her with his cane.

"Are you asleep? What a weakling." He said. She pressed his cane in between her ribs, and she didn't flinch. She had passed out.

"Oh well."

Chat ran across the manor. He was so desperate. 30 minutes had passed since he left the dojo. She found the room where Marinette should be held, but it was just a yoga room. He looked around, hopeful to find some kind of door.

He knocked down the shelves, and lifted the mats. One shelf he tried knocking over, wouldn't budge.

He pulled all the equipment off of the shelf, and soon found a lever. He lifted it up, and the shelf unhooked from the wall. He swung it open.

"Jackpot." He ran inside, although it was very dark. He seemed to be in a hallway.

He ran, but soon he heard talking. He sneaked around, and froze.

"Are you asleep? What a weakling." He heard a voice say. "Oh well."

Chat became infuriated. He charged around the corner, and looked into the room.

It was illuminated by the moon's glow.

In the back, he saw two people. One was male, and standing with his cane pressed down, and the other was female, and had a cane pressed in her ribs.

"Mi'Lady..." He said. He outed his presence. Hawkmoth turned around, and saw the green eyes glowing in the dark. Chat walked out into the light, but he wasn't looking at Hawkmoth. He was looking at Ladybug, whose back was to him. He looked to the side, and saw Tikki, laying on the floor.

"What did you do?" Chat asked quietly. Hawkmoth smiled.

"What do you think?" He smirked. Chat saw red. He became so angry. He could tear down everything. The butterflies swarmed Hawkmoth.

This time, he held a butterfly in his hand, and released a purple butterfly.

"Fly my little akuma." He told it. Before Chat realized what was happening, he felt a pressure on his chest. He felt different. He fell down to his knees, and his vision changed. It turned from it's normal chat-like sharpness, to a more focused line. He looked down at his suit, and it soon turned white. The anger inside him swelled even more. He felt like he would explode.

"Rise. You wore for me now. Rise, Chat Blanc." Hawkmoth told him.

And Chat felt himself stand, and look at Hawkmoth. He felt more agile, more angry.

"I will give you all the power you want. If you give me the miraculous." Hawkmoth held out his hand. Adrien smiled.

"How about you watch me rip off your arms." He said. And in a flash of movement, he was gone. Hawkmoth's eyes widened. He tried to control him, but he didn't obey. He turned around, and got a glimpse of him before he ran off again. This went on for circles.

Hawkmoth was turning around in circles. Until Chat ran up to him.

"Goodnight." He said, before grabbing onto his shoulders, and flinging him across the room. Hawkmoth went soaring, and he crashed onto the ground.

"Attack!" He yelled. The butterflies soon swarmed Chat, and they suffocated him in their sheer density.

He pulled his staff out, and began to violently swing around, killing many butterflies. They thinned out, and were flying away from him.

Chat dug in his pocket of smoke bombs, and grabbed a handful. He threw them at Hawkmoth, and smoke erupted. Chat started running towards him, and he jumped onto him, dragging him to the ground.

Chat pinned him down, and became to repeatedly beat him. Punches and all.

By the time the smoke thinned out completely, Hawkmoth was unconscious. Chat got up, and gave him a good kick in the side for good measure.

He stood up, and looked him over. He grabbed the cane that was at his side, and broke it.

A little moth kwami spilled out, and the full head mask started to dissipate. Chat looked at him, and soon his face turned from a happy grin, to a slowly horrified expression. As the mask faded, it showed many familiar characteristics.

The fake blonde hair, grey eyebrows, blue eyes, and the familiar glasses. The suit faded away in a purple shimmer, and there laid his father. Gabriel Agreste.

Chat backed up in horror. Gabriel started to regain consciousness, and he opened his eyes. He smirked.

"What? Are you surprised?" He said. He knew he was over with.

Chat looked so horrified. The white color from the suit drained from him to his original black suit.

"Father?" He managed to squeeze out. Gabriel squinted. He sat up sorely, and looked at him.

"Who are you calling father..." He said, although his face read it all.

"Adrien?" He asked. Chat nodded slowly. Gabriel looked entirely horrified. As if he saw someone die.

"It can't be..." Gabriel trailed off. Chat grew angry.

"All the times you went away on business meetings even though you never left the manor. All the times you said you were working on a project, when I knew your books were empty. All the times you said that work was stressing you out even though you had not made a deal in months! Each time, you were here, weren't you! You were here causing trouble! You hurt my lady so many times, and you hurt me as well! I have scars from what you've made others do to me, and I've had to cover them up all the time! You constantly hurt me on a near daily basis, and as a father, you are just as shitty!" Chat yelled, tears flowing out of his eyes.

"Each time I skipped class to fight your monsters, you punished me when I got home! I was there to clean your messes, and all you did was reprimand me! And I somehow call you my father!" Chat yelled.

Gabriel scooted back.

"It's not what you think Adrien. I didn't do any of this to hurt you... I just wanted us to have power. So we could live without any work. So I can get your mom back-"

"MOM IS GONE!" Chat yelled. The room became completely silent. "Mom is gone... she left you, and there's nothing you can do to bring her back. I know you want us to be a family again, but all you've done is tear us apart even more. I could have been happier than I am right now. But you made your choices. And I made mine." Chat whispered.

"Hand me your miraculous." Chat held out his hand. Gabriel didn't move, but he knew he was defeated. He grabbed the broken pen that used to be a cane, and placed the pieces in Chat's hand.

"Where are some ropes? I'm calling the police." He asked quietly. Gabriel hung his head down.

"I won't escape." He said. Chat glared at him, and held his hand out. Gabriel handed him his phone. Chat called the number.

"Yes, this is Chat Noir. I would like to report that I have apprehended Hawkmoth, the man behind the attacks the past two years. Please come to the Agreste Manor. Nathalie will tell you where I am, I left the door open. Hawkmoth is Gabriel Agreste. Bring an ambulance, please. I'm afraid that Ladybug is severely injured." He told them. He hung up the phone, and tossed it to the side. Gabriel leaned up against the wall, and hung his head.

Chat now realized his main priority, and he turned to Ladybug. Her face wasn't visible, and she still laid motionless on the ground.

Chat ran to her, and shook her shoulders. He looked down, and noticed. She still wore the beautiful dress from that night. The beautiful dress that he wished he could have danced with. It was now torn from struggling, and dirty from scuffing the floor.

When she didn't respond, he gently flipped her on her back. He brushed the hair off of her face, and he was speechless.

The very girl he had begun to fall in love with, was also the girl he loved for two years straight. She had dark blue hair, and was the best baker he knew. She would constantly bring croissants to class, and hand them out for free.

"Marinette... I'm sorry I didn't get here sooner." He apologized. He tried to moved her hands, but they were shackled to the floor.

He held onto the one bolt on the floor that bound her legs and arms.

"Cataclysm." The chains disintegrated along with the cuffs. He scooped her up, and sat down. He placed her on his lap, and held her against his chest. Gabriel sat against the wall, not even daring to try to escape.

"Don't worry Marinette. Help is on the way."
