Y/n was currently going from roof top to roof top, the hunt had begun, he took notice of the police quickly driving around the city.

his eyes going over the streets over the streets, his hand firm on his katana and biding his time for  an attack.

Soon it came.

"THERE HE IS!!!"

Y/n looked to see several yakuza posted up on a rooftop with M4s In hand and began opening fire.

Good, he could use the warmup.

Y/n didn't slow down, unsheathing his sword and dodging and blocking bullets expertly.

When he was in good distance, he glowed blue and began striking at a blinding speed.

Y/n was now behind the men, they were frozen in place,  y/n them sheathed his blade.

Then blood began to spurt from the yakuza, they cried out in pain and fell to the ground, he landed strikes on many of their ligaments, it wouldn't kill them but they weren't gonna get back up anytime soon.

Y/n sensed something headed his way and tilted his head, an arrow flying right past him, he looked up and caught the sight of many hand ninjas on a building up above, one of them made a single and many of them began to jump down.

"Hmph,"  y/n sounded, unimpressed.

Y/n  had begun backflipping away from arrows and ninja stories,  he had eventually flipped off the building and landed on the ground.

"Go Now!!!" Y/ns sharp voice ran through the crowd, which made them quickly get to safety.

Y/n was now surrounded, y/n remained at the ready, daring any of them to attack.

They didn't get the chance to, though it wasn't his doing, several projectiles had landed from above, blinding many of them.

"Is that....webbing?" Y/n thought looking at the gray material on the ninjas faces, then he put two in two together, "it's only natural he's here" y/n thought with a small smirk.

A red and blue figure had landed on the ground, he shot a web at one of the ninjas and began too swing the man around in a wide arc, forcing y/n to duck under the web line and catching many in the attack and forcing others to disperse.

It was the friendly neighborhood spider-man.

"Hey There! Looked like you needed help there." Spiderman said in a lighthearted tone.

Hearing his voice let y/n know he must have been young, no older than 18, being a hero at that age,that was admirable.

"I didn't but it's no less appreciated." Y/n said nodding his head in thanks.

"No problem, mind telling why you got an army of ninjas after you?"  Spiderman said as he looked to the ninjas.

"There's a bounty placed on my head,  long story."  Y/n explained quickly, this was not the time to get into the details.

"Thats concerning.." spiderman said skeptically as he looked at y/n.

"All i can say is I'm not the bad guy, me being here is to drive them out and keep them from hurting people." Y/n explained, not wanting the web-head to get the wrong idea.

"Yeah i could kind of put that together since it was the hand attacking you" spiderman said lightheartedly while getting into a stance "let's handle these guys, i hope those swords aren't just for cosplay." He joked.

"Said the guy in a full body suit." Y/n joked back.

"Touche." Spiderman said.

They then dash into opposite directions.

Spiderman would web up two too trees, lean away from some sword strikes, before backlipping kicking them into the air, Spiderman then jumped and grabbed onto the ninja and threw him into a nother group, knocking them down like bowling pins.

Y/n was expertly dispatching the ninjas, since they weren't alive he didn't have to hold back,   He unsheathed sento and began to wield it through telekinesis while also keeping his wakizashi in his hands,  he expertly closing the distance with several  ninjas while the  he cut through others with Sento.

"The katana floats?!" Spiderman yelled in suprise as uppercut a ninja away and saw y/ns display of skill.

"Im the one doing the floating." Y/n explained as his eyes glowed blue and force pushed several goons away.

"That is awesome dude!" Spiderman said excitedly as he jumped in the air and performed a split kick, knocking two ninja unconscious.

The onslaught of ninja had ended then spidermans senses blared and dodged an oncoming car, he then saw another heading for Y/n. "Heads Up!" Spiderman warned quickly.

Y/n saw the vehicle heading towards him and quickly channeled energy through his wakizashi to slice clean through the vehicle.

"i hope the owner had the car insured" spider-man said as he looked at the now split car on the ground.

"YOU JUST HAD TO BE HERE AND MAKE MY LIFE HARDER HUH WEBHEAD?!!!"

Y/n and spider-man looked in the same direction of the voice, the owner of it was a large man..in a rhino suit.

"BUT YOU KNOW WHAT NOW THAT YOUR HERE ,I CAN KILL TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE!"

"Great, rhino" Spider-Man groaned.

"Friend of yours?" Y/n asked looking at Spiderman.

"Define friend." Spiderman said back to him.

"HOPE YOU GUYS ARE READY TO GET CRUSHED!" Rhino yelled as he began charging.

Y/n and Spiderman got into position, ready to go at it, but suddenly someone dashed to Rhinos side, and laid a vicious haymaker on Rhinos chin, sending the large-man rollin before finally coming to a halt.

"Ugh...." Rhinos groaned trying to get up but soon fell unconscious.

Y/n and spiderman could only stare at rhinos un surprise.

" i was gonna do that but il take it." Spiderman said gratefully.

Y/n looked to see he had aided them and his eyes widened and froze, he called her so he shouldn't be in shock but he didn't expect to see her, At least not this soon, it was Jennifer, now donning a white and purple one piece suit with purple fingerless gloves and white shoes.

she was as beautiful as ever, and her hero uniform only a served to make him blush again like she always managed to do.

"Aw no fair jenny! I couldn't get a hit in." Another who landed on the scene whined, she was in a yellow jumpsuit, a cat themed masked with clawed gloves , and long orange hair flowing in the wind.

"Sorry hellcat, you got the next one promise." Jen said with a charming smile.

"Thanks for the assist ladies." Spiderman said giving them a thumbs up.

"Can't let you boys have all the fun" hellcat said with a smirk.

Jen went to say something as well but she locked eyes with Y/n, her heart began beating, if she were to guess this would be his uniform when in action, black really is his color, , his mask obscured half of his face and just left those eyes, those beautiful eyes, she didn't realize how much she missed him.

"Y/n." Jen said gently looking at y/n.

"Jen" y/n nodded as Sento was called back to his hand. "Thank you for coming to help." Y/n said holding sento and looked at Jennifer, unsure what else to say.

"Lives are at stake, I couldn't ignore that." Jen said seriously, feeling like she needed to say more than that she said this. "Im... glad you're not hurt." Jen said looking him over, there was a different energy about him, it was dangerous, she felt the same thing the day they got attacked.

Hearing those words warmed him,oh did he wish the circumstances between them were better. " thank you, thats very kind of you to say." Y/n said bowing his head a bit to her.

Meanwhile spider-man was just looking at the exchange shifting from one to the other. "Uh...am i missing something?" Spider-Man whispered to hellcat.

Hellcat smirked in amusement. " oh you have no idea." Hellcat whispered back, she then walked up to the pair. "alright love birds you can make goggly eyes later we still got a situation to deal with." Hellcat said interrupting the two and getting down to business.

Jen and y/n blushed and quickly shook themselves out of it.

"So lets get to it, samurai boy here has a bounty on his head and now half of the nyc criminals are after him" hellcat said with her arms crossed.

"Police are on the seen and other heroes like daredevil and some avengers are in the fight too." Spiderman explained.

"I just phoned the fantastic four, they're on their way back as we know it." Jen said, having phoned her friend susan Richard back at her apartment.

"Seriously though, the rhino is get but the Yakuza working with the hand? how did it get this bad?" Spiderman asked looking to Y/n.

"i dealt a heavy blow to the yakuza seven years ago and they have wanted me dead ever since, placing a bounty head it seems was the best way to increase their chances in succeeding, as minuscule as it may be." Y/n said seriously, his company clearly surprised at how little he thought of them as a threat.

"Well i love the confidence." Spiderman said giving the samurai two thumbs up. " but this is tricky, as long as that bounty is your head this isn't gonna end anytime soon." Spiderman said, bringing up a valid point.

"I may be able to help with that!!"

The quartet looked up to see a flying corvette descending and soon lending the driver non other than agent phil coulson.

"Damn even shields involved" Hellcat asked surprised.

"Agent Coulson, Y/n is a friend, don't expect the hellicarier as the director currently has it elsewhere but there are soldiers on the scene keeping everything contained." Phil said addressing the heroes.

"Well agent , any idea what to do?" Jen asked curiously, recognizing this was the same agent y/n told her about.

" you just have to go after the guy who is handing out the award, took some time but we finally found it." Phil said pulling out a device and displaying a digital image.

"Someone needs some sleep." Jen joked.

"And a haircut, what is that mess?." Spiderman joked as well.

"Look familiar y/n?" Phil asked his black coated friend.

"Genichi sono, one of the top members of the black dragon yakuza clan." Y/n said narrowing his eyes, he was part of his clan, on of the most elite in fact, genichi wasn't present that day, he was handling business in Kyoto y/n now wishes he could have settled things with him when could.

"Yeah, we've sent many after him but no luck,  but he's here in new york and that bounty on your head, its just to try and get you off your game, he wants to get the job done himself." Phil explained as he shut the hologram off.

"Any idea where he is ?" Spiderman asked curiously, wanting a peace of that guy.

Phil shook his head. "Not exactly, all we know is that hes in new york but no clue where, we can only hope he shows himself and go from there." Phil said. " but for now we need to take care of business here , the best we do that is to split up and cover more ground,  Im heading over to hells kitchen to help daredevil with bullseye, any volunteers?."

Hellcat quickly got an idea. "Im down!" She then looked at spiderman. " and so is spidey!"

Spiderman looked surprised and confused. " i am?"

Hellcat nodded. "Yup." She then looked over to jen and y/n. "That means these two can handle things here."

Y/n looked suprised and jen was narrowing her eyes at her best friend. "Hellcat...what are you doing?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Hellcat just smiled. " you heard the agent, we got to split up, besides." She then got a mischievous look. " it gives you and samurai here  the opportunity to...catch up." She winking at her friend.

Jen and y/ns eyes widened they took a quick look and looked away composing themselves.

"Dammit pats..". Jen thought rubbing her face, she wanted to talk y/n but she thought it would best to wait until after the chaos was done.

Coulson looked amused but didn't comment on that. " well that settles it." coulson said as he started the car with spiderman and patsy hopped in the vehicle. "Take care you two and Remember Y/n, hes after you, stay on your toes." Coulson said ovet the sound of the engine.

Y/n nodded, he didn't need to be told that.

"Break a leg girl!" Hellcat patsy yelled from above them as the car was now hovering.

Jen and y/n watched as Coulson blasted away to queens, leaving the two alone.

Y/n looked to jen. " well... where do we go to first?"

Jen wanted to speak more but decided there were more pressing matters to deal with. "We should head to lower manhattan, caught wind of the news speaking about an attack there."

"Lead the way?" Y/ n offered lightly.

Jen nodded. "Sure thing, can you keep up?" Jen asked right as she got a running start performed a super leap and landing onto a nearby building, she then crossed her arms look at y/n who was now a good distance away.

in a serious of fast and calculated movements,
y/n leaped onto a tree branch then to a tall light pole then jumped to the building jen stood on, landing firmly on his feet.

"I can." Y/n responded simply, looking at jen.

Jen let a smile smile grow on her fece, skilled and confident, just as he was before but she quickly composed herself. "Right then.. lets go." She motioned for him to follow.

Y/n nodded and followed.

Later.

They covered alot of ground, even taking down so some bounty hunters, they were working well together but there was one problem , they were hardly talking, hardly anything between them unless it was order here or a warning there, it was awkward, tense,
They both didn't like it but were unsure how to alleviate it, or perhaps they did and just hadn't worked up the nerve.

Y/n and jen were now on a rooftop in soho overlooking the streets below.

"Alot of the shield agents are moving in here, i think sooner or later the goons are gonna realize they don't have the manpower to deal with all of this." Jen said looking over the large shield vehicles with soldiers moving in.

Y/n nodded. " right, let's get moving then" y/n said holding his sword and jumping down onto a lower roof top.

There it was a again, short emotionless responses, she couldn't take it anymore, "y/n" she called as she jumped down, she closed in on him and gently but firmly grabbed his left arm. " just wait a second." She said firmly .

"Is something wrong?" Y/n asked, a foolish question perhaps but he didn't know what else to say.

Jen frowned at him. " you know the answer to that, we need to talk." Jen said looking at his figure gently. " about us." She said  firmly.

Jen noticed his head look anywhere but at her. "Jen...this isn't the time" Y/n said not looking forward to the nature of this conversation now.

"You haven't looked me in the eye since I've gotten here so  i think it is the time." Jen said strongly.

Y/n just shook his head unsure how to respond.

Jen began to look frustrated pulled his arm a bit. " Look at me!" She yelled at him, her voice cracking a bit, she needed to say this, she had too.

Y/n  didn't move for a bit, then finally turned around, and looked at her, he looked so detached from it all , like he was expecting bad news and just wanted it to be confirmed.  "Just.... say what you have to say and get it over with." Y/n said weekly, just wishing for the bandaid to be ripped off at this point.

Jen just looks at him almost hurt that he was implying  to just give up on them. " do you really think I would come all this way just  to reject you?" She said almost hurt.

Y/n just weakly shook his head. "Kind of hard not to..."

Jen just stared at him, hating that he felt this way, she gently let him go. " y/n.... When  you told me everything,  I felt for you.... I was scared for you... but I was a fool to to think that you were at fault that day for not telling me..." she said angry at her self.

Y/n was confused. " Jen what are you saying?  You deserved to know ,  I mean we were two months along I owed you that jen." He said not wishing her to believe he was not at fault for this.

" but it wasn't my place to judge you whether or not you would tell me" Jen said firmly as she looked at
y/n. "I mean for god sakes y/n what kind person willingly subjects someone to that kind of life." Jen said remorsefully as she remembers what his surrogate father put him through.

" you opened your heart out to me and I was about to walk away....." Jen's voice began to crack as she looked away, tears beginning to form. " walk away from someone who helped me believe I could love again......I... im sorry." She said turning away from him, holding her self as she tried to hold back her tears.

Y/n watched as Jen held back tears, his heart aching for seeing the normally confident woman in such a state.

Y/n walked up to her " hey ... you don't owe me an apology."  He said gently  looking up at her , gently turning her face towards him.

Jen looked at him, lone tears leaking from his eyes, " yes I do.. you didn't deserve that.."

Y/n shook his head" well I refuse to blame you for it..." y/n gently placed  her forehead against his. " I missed you...pretty bad. " y/ns said relieved to be this close to her again .

Jen leaned into him" so did I." She said lovingly, gently rubbing her forhead againt his Y/n  gently held her hands.

Y/n decided it was time to finally leave it all on the table "... I love you Jennifer......I didn't believe I would ever feel this way for someone....or that I even deserved it."

Jen held his face now. "you do... how does it feel?" she asked gently, Y/n couldn't help but smile. " wonderful."He responded, the two chuckled and opened their eyes , loving gazing at each other.

" when we were heading to Central Park.. I was also gonna ask if you wanted to be... official  obviously I wasn't able to  get it out then .... How about now?"y/n asked gently.

Jen gave him that beautiful smile he grew to love. " don't plan on moving back to Japan anytime soon?" Jen joked playfully..Y/n just chuckled and leaned into her. " as long as you don't plan on breaking my heart..." he said in a low and gentle tone.

Jen leaned her head against his again , their faces close, she gently lowered his mask and her lips were now hovering over his."Never...I'm here Y/n"
The two closed the distance, connecting lips and holding each other close as though they were afraid the other would disappear if they let go.

They slowly detached, smile present on each of their faces, jen laid one more kiss on his lips, missing him already.

Y/n wished to stay there a bit longer but then something caught his eye from a distance , a familiar swordsman, sending out an attack headed straight for them.

"Get down!" Y/n yelled quickly grabbing jen by the waist and jumping to the side, they daughed and oncoming wave the sliced through the building and impacted another.

"The hell was that?!" Jen yelled in confusion getting back alongside y/n.

"Genishi." Y/n said glaring over to the man on the building  a distance away from them.

"LONG TIME NO SEE Y/N-SAN!!!" Genishi yelled with a crazed look on his face. "ITS ABOUT TIME YOU SHOWED YOUR FACE, I HONESTLY THOUGHT I HAD TO PAY ONE OF THESE FOREIGN CLOWNS!!"

Suddenly all hell broke lose as yakuza came onto the scene and began fighting the shield soldiers.

"jen i need you to handle things here, Im going after genishi!" Y/n ordered, as he unsheathed his sword.

"What?! No! Im not about to let you fight alone!" Jen yelled back.

" The shield agents need all the help they can get and im the one genishi wants!" He then held jens hand. "Just trust me , I can take him." Y/n said with determination.

Jen looked between the battle and genishi feeling  conflicted  but ultimately came to a decision, she brought in y/n for a fast kiss. "Kick his ass." She said firmly.

Y/n smirked. "Naturally." He said hes he pulled his mask back up.

Jen leaped off the building, landing on the ground and perfoming a small thunder-clap sending many of the yakuza flyingaway before diving headlong into the battle.

Y/n locked eyes with genishi, who give him a "come here" gesture with his hand. Y/n dashed through the battle field at an intense speed , he began to scale the building genishi was on and soon made it to the roof, where he was greeted by many yakuza standing Gaurd protecting their leader.

"Oi, senpai, sorosoro koko ni agaru jikanda yo, watashi ga tetsudai ni tomodachi o tsurete kita no wa ki ni shinaide hoshī.( hey senior, it's about time you got up here, hope you don't mind that i brought some friends to help me out)" Genishi said in their native tongue, gesturing to the foot soldiers ready for battle

Y/n simple channeled energy through his swords and performed a horizontal strike as the soldiers began to charge at him.

The Wave cut through their blades and their bodies, none of them stood a chance.

"Anata wa jibun de nanika o suru no ga sukide wa nakatta. (You never liked doing things yourself)" Y/n said as he glared at genishi.

Genishi just got a demented smile"Namaiki ni naru na yo uragirimono yarō! (Don't get cocky you traitorous fuck!)" Genish said getting into a fighting stance.

Y/n and genishi then closed the distance and engaged in combat, , clashing fiercly , sparks flying as one tried to get an edge over the other.

Y/n and genishis blades then locked.

"tell me y/n was it really that easy?! Betraying your brothers for the goddamn american dream?!!" Genishi growled angrily.

"Theres not i day that goes by where I'm not grateful i left." Y/n said as he pushed genishi off and delivering a force push, sending him crashing into a wall. " and those who delivered pain and suffering with smiles on their faces could never be my fucking brothers." Y/n growled.

Genishi seemed un phased by the comments. " Must be real easy to say when you got that green piece of ass with you." Genishi said with a shit eating smile.

Y/n growled as he dashed to genishi who then dodged a powered strike that cleaved through the wall like butter.

"Hehehe, gonna have to try harder than that!" Genshi said as he jumped to a nearby building and began running before jumping to another, with y/n following suit pursuing him.

They soon got back to the rooftops and began fighting again

"You know it really pisses me off! For mifune to pour all that energy into training you." Genish said as he dodged an over head strike by y/n which prompted him to deliver a round house kick which y/n blocked. " and just for you to turn around and...." Genishi growled as he charged electricity through his sword before slamming the blunt side down, creating an effect akin to a flash bang, forcing y/n to shield his eyes and genishi seized the opportunity and pressed sped forward. "KILL HIM!." Genishi finished as he reared his sword back

Y/n recovered in time and dodged the blade just managed to graze the side of his head, causing it to bleed a bit.

Y/n just glared at him as his eyes and hand glowed. "Cry me a river." Y/n said seriously as he sent to large chunks of sliced concrete to genishi.

Genshi dodged one slab of concrete and sliced the next one in Half. Suddenly Genishi caught the sight of an astral projection depicting the form of a samurai and went to defend against a sword thrust, but suddenly the projection disappeared and a wakizashi came into view and he was unprepared, the short sword cut through genishies forearm.

"Ngh...." Genishi groaned looking at his forearm, he was still able to use it but it was clear that it was painful. " Son of a BITCH" Genishi yelled out dashing towards y/n, who matched his energy in kind.

The two  went from rooftop to rooftop exchanging sword strikes,  y/n had found opening slashed at his midsection, it was shallow but it was something.

"Ngh!!" Genishi hissed in pain, taking a step back.

Y/n had the  then used his telekenises to pull genishi towards him and spin kicked, directly onto the shallow cut and sent him crashing into a wall, Genishi recovered quickly and launched an electric wave at y/n who jabbed Sento into the ground, sending out an arc of own.

The two blasts collided and exploded, shattering some nearby glass and producing a cloud of smoke.

Genish looked around trying to sense y/ns next attack , when suddenly he is palm striked in his side, genishi takes a swing and hits nothing but air, then he takes a low kick which causes him to drop to a knee, Genishi strikes again, no contact, then before he even has a chance to get up, y/n delivers a knee the sends through the air, y/n jumps and follows it up with a spinning axe kick, which sending genishi crashing to the ground.

"Grrr...." Genishi growls as he gets back up, clearly winded by the attack.

"The era of the yakuza is done, you're a fool for ever thinking you could change that fact." Y/n said glaring at the man. " Yield, or the consequences will be dire." Y/n threatened as sento glowed.

"HAHAHAHAHA! There you go acting all high and mighty!" Genishi yelled as he laughed. " An ungrateful little orphan, that is all you are, you wanna know the difference between you and me?" Genishi growled with a smirk.

Y/n merely narrowed his eyes ready for the next round.

Genishi caught a mother cradling her child, he smirked and charged up Sento. "YOUR FUCKING SOFT!!!" Genshi yelled as he pointed his sword and launched an electrical blast , heading straight for the mother and child.

Y/n eyes widened, and immediately used his energy to speed himself up, propelling him forward.

"BOOOOM!!!!!"

Genishi smirked as he saw his attack create a miniature explosion, the impact shattering glass and send a tremor through the ground.

"Hehehe.."Genishi chuckled as waited to see the results of his work as the smoke cleared.

When it did his eyes widened, instead of seeing the corpses of a charred mother and child there stood y/n, with an electric burn going down his neck and down his right arm, his right eye was a bit bloodshot, and sento was pointed outward, slightly crackling with electricity.

"That son of a bitch... He used his sword as a lightning conductor!" Genishi thought angrily as he tightened his grip on his blade.

Y/n turner to the mother and child who were unharmed by the attack. "Get to safety." He ordered, a slight soreness evident in his voice.

"Thank you so much." The woman cried gratefully holding her child tightly as she ran to get somewhere safe.

"You really are fucking piece of work, You would take a blow for this worthless trash?!" Genishi questioned in anger.

Y/n said nothing, merely glaring at the man.

"They are beneath us! If you hadn't betrayed your own we could have been living like gods among men, having them eat at the palm of our hands!" Genishi yelled out , Scolding Y/n. "and you gave it all up to live like a common bum?!"

Y/n still remained silent, not bothering to explain himself.

Genishi was boiling now, veins popping in his head. " ALL RIGHT THEN SINCE YOU LOVE THE BIG APPLE SO MUCH..!" Genishi said as he charged his katana with electricity , a dangerous amount. "HOW ABOUT I MAKE IT YOUR GRAVE!!!!!" Genishi yelled out.

Y/n was silent as he too he sheathed sento and took his signature laido stance, his focus on nothing else but Genishi.

"DIEEEE!!!!!!!!!" Genishi yelled out as he blasted towards him.

Y/n then dashed towards him his grip firm on sento.

The passed each other , the respective attacks having been performed, they waited a moment, Genishi felt him self smirk , but then he saw half of his blade fall to the ground and he felt something was off, he tried to move but it was difficult, extremely difficult, when he tried to stand upright, next thing he knew he was on his back on the ground, struggling to move anything other then his neck

"What did you do?......WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?!" GENISHI yelled out furiously, still trying to find someway to move.

Y/n sheathed sento.

He then looked at Genishi , regarding his downed opponent with a narrowed eyes. " I cut through your paraspinal muscles, you will never move on your own again, let alone wield a sword." He said with no remorse in his voice.

Genishis eyes widened , not believing the words that came out of y/Ns mouth. " No...NO!!!" He shouted out angrily.

Y/n lifted a hand and soon a cracked phone came out of Genishis pocket , y/n took a look in Genishis mind and entered the password, after going through an app that was designed to show his bounty , he was able to call it off, he then pocketed the phone , Phil might need it for evidence . It was over.

" you can't do this....I REFUSE TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!!" Genishi Cried out furiously. " HAVE SOME FUCKING BALLS AND FINISH ME!!!

Y/n began glaring at the man. " After all the suffering you have caused, the families you have fractured, the poison that you and the yakuza have become...." Y/n began growling out as his eyes glowed blue.

Genishi suddenly fell the need to desperately grab his neck as he felt like he could no longer breath, y/n was cutting of his oxygen flow.

"I would have no qualms about killing you...but no" y/n said as Genishi took in a deep breath."Death would be mercy to the likes of you, you are nothing Genishi, I hope you will live out the rest of your days thinking about everything you have done."
