Soon enough, she ran out of materials for her projects, and had to get more. Passing through the park as a short cut, she saw a pink haired girl.

"Excuse me, but why are you here all alone?" Shiniko inquired her.

"I got l-lost." she replied coldly, stuttering a bit.

"What happened?"

"Why do you need to know?"

"Well since you're not gonna tell me, where are you trying to go, I can take you back if that's ok."

"How do I know that I can trust you." She demanded.

"Follow me and find out, or I'll leave you here." Shiniko offered.

"Fine I'll go with you, but first what's your name?"

"My name's Shiniko Kuroshira, what about you?"

"Sakura, now let's go."

"Where to?"

"Young Leaf Park, you know where it is?"

"Sure do, come on."

Shiniko took Sakura back to the school, the owner thanked her and she offered to help out and visit from time to time. Then she continued her trip to get more materials.

When she got home, she continued her projects. When she finished the last of them, she made herself dinner, then got ready for bed, but before that...

Anime.

Then she went to bed.

At the moment it was past noon, Shiniko went back to the school. The owner, Matsukata, showed her around the place, and introduced her to everyone. The kids were so excited to meet her, it was like she was drowning in an ocean of little people.

Matsukata told her that he's always very busy, even with a few helpers around. Shiniko volunteered to teach the kids, look after them and get the things he needed from the different stores.

Matsukata was glad to have gained another helper, but little did he know that Shiniko was only doing this and going outside more to forget about her school life.

All the kids were happy to have someone that played with them and teach them. Shiniko got to know most of them, and Sakura, or as the others call her, 'Sis Sakura', opened up to her because Shiniko knew what it was like to be bullied at such a young age.

Everyday, Shiniko was busy. In the morning, she would meet up with Akari and hang out.

After lunch, she would go to the school, and pick up a few things on her way there. She would stay until three in the afternoon. Then on her way to the training grounds, she would stop by Yanagisawa's lab and visit 'The Reaper' and Yukimura sensei. When she gets to the training grounds, she either does training or get assignments. Some days when she's training, she can choose if she wants to go home early or stay late, most of the time she chooses to stay late.

On some days, she wouldn't go anywhere. She would give everyone a call to let them know she was going to be 'busy' on that day so she could have some time to herself.

~Time Skip~

Today Shiniko was going to hang out with Akari for the whole day because both of them had nothing to do. They went to lots of different places together. At the end of the day when it was already dark out, they decided to go to the lab.

On there way there, there was a loud explosion, both of them were knocked onto the ground.

"What just happened...?" Akari asked.
"Who knows but it's probably not good." Shiniko replied.

When they got to the lab they saw it was collapsed, Shiniko found an entrance and got in quickly.

When Shiniko came out the other end, the sight of a giant tentacle monster beside what seems to be Yukimura sensei was before her eyes. Before he could leave, she ran up to 'The Reaper'.

"Wait! Don't go!"

He turned around.

"I haven't told you who I really am yet. I'm an assassin, I'm known as 'Fallen Light'."

'The Reaper' just smiled sadly, and at that moment Akari made her way through the tunnel. Her sight landed to her sister who is now dead, then to the tentacle creature.

'The Reaper', who is now the tentacle creature, blasted into the sky.

"Yukimura sensei!" Shiniko exclaimed and turned to the female teacher laying on the ground. She kneeled down beside her with tears on her face, she couldn't say a single word.

"Aguri..." Akari said while making her way over to her body, "Big Sis! Oh, God, talk to me! Wake up! Aguri, please!" Akari begged, then started sobbing.

Shiniko saw a piece of paper on the ground and picked it up.

"A-Akari, look at this."

"W-what is it?"

"It's a note. It says: To Whom It May Concern. I will withdraw for now, but I can take over as homeroom teacher for Kunugigaoka Junior High Class 3-E. Discussions to follow. From a super-destructive creature."

As Shiniko finished reading, Akari saw a case with vials of tentacle seed and a computer, and grabbed them both.

"Come on, we're going back to my place." Akari said with a straight face.
"Sure."

The two of them went back to Akari's place in silence. When they got there, Akari opened the computer and started to read about the tentacles in a quiet whisper.

"It says here: The Weaponized Tentacle Prototype is compatible with human physiology. Provided a strict regimen is adhered to, otherwise the pain is excruciating."

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Shiniko asked with a lot of concern.

"I'm sure. I have to avenge my sister's death. You're going to Kunugigaoka, is there really an E Class?"

"Yeah, there is."

"Are you in it?"

"For third year I am, but I won't be there for the first few days."

"Oh, ok then. You should go now it's getting really late, I'll call you if I need your help, ok?"

"Ok, bye Akari." Shiniko left her house and sadly walked back home, with her best memories of Yukimura sensei, 'The Reaper' and herself together replaying in her mind.

When she got home she was in tears, she showered and went straight to bed.

~Time Skip~

Shiniko woke up to the sound of her phone ringing, she answered it.

"Hello..." she mumbled out.

"Shiniko, it's me Akari, I need you to come over right now." She said calmly.

"Uh-huh..." Then she hung up.

Shiniko dragged herself out of bed and got ready. She looked at the time, it was past noon. When Shiniko got to Akari's house, she knocked and heard "come in". She went in. She knew what this was about, so she went to the washroom, and Akari was starting the mirror, probably thinking to herself.

"If my instincts were on point, in Kunugigaoka's E Class. I'd find the monster that murdered my sister."

Shiniko waited, until Akari snapped back to reality.

"What do need?" Shiniko asked, slightly scaring Akari a bit.

"I need you to dye my hair, but first there's something I need to do." Akari took one of the vials of tentacle seed and injected it into the back of her neck. Her face showed immediate pain, then it turned back to a serious face.

"Are you ok? Does it hurt?" Shiniko asked.

"It hurts, but I'm fine." She replied.

After that, Shiniko started to help Akari dye her hair. Akari still needed to do a lot of things, so she thanked Shiniko for her help, quickly got changed and left her place.

Shiniko went to the school first and continued her day, as if it was every other day. Spring break was almost over, Shiniko was glad for two reasons: 'The Reaper' that turned to a tentacle creature is going to teach E Class and she was going to be in E Class.

Later that night, Shiniko got a text from...
