Third Person's POV

Marinette was finally on time to school for once. So she was in a good mood she had a well rested night cuz no akuma attacks yesterday and Patrol was early and only took 10 minutes. Everyone was surprised she was there. Her hair was in two buns on her head over the past couple of years her hair grew she hasn't really cut it unless it went pass her waist. She really didn't want people to know so she wears it in buns or cool braided up styles. So she was talking to Alya,Nino, and Adrien kinda. Considering Adrien was just listening occasionally glancing at her. She has controlled her stuttering but still does sometimes. Adrien is in love with Marinette but also ladybug. He then started full blown staring at Marinette she reminded him of ladybug her personality as well but what Marinette has that LB doesn't or doesn't show around him is her shy, cutesy, clumsy side in which he found adorable or adorkable. He was  considering giving up on ladybug bur he's not so sure he has yet to ask her how she felt about him so he thought about asking her later on patrol. He was knocked out of his trance and thoughts when Mrs.Bustier came in with a excited face everyone was wondering why she was so happy.

Mrs.Bustier: i have a important announcement after attendance

Ms.B: ok now the boring part is over i have big news

Rose: what is it

Ms.B: well we're going on a trip to China for 2 months and the Queen and King of China have personally invited us so i advise you use the rest of the day to pack all of your parents have already agreed so meet here tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m sharp more information about the trip will be provided tomorrow  i dismiss you all early to pack good day class. Everyone was ecstatic and ran out the classroom . Adrien went home and started packing still can't believing that his father agreed to let go. Marinette was really excited to go back home. She lived in China until she was ten years old and doesn't really remember anything except for her living there until she was ten years old. Anything before the age of ten she doesn't remember like a blank space in her memory. But after packing and double checking with Tikki she went to her parents. They looked like they knew something she didn't which they did. They had a golden small jewel box wiith a little pink stone on the top. Marinette sat down with her parents.

Marinette: what's wrong

Sabine: how do we say this uhh

Tom: we err

Sabine: it'll be easier if you read the note

Marinette then took the and read it .

Dear Marinette

We know you don't remember us but that's alright Sabine and Tom are not your real parents me and my husband are and we sent you away because you are our only child and China was under attack and another big thing is we're the the King and Queen of China so that means you're the princess i know this is a lot to take in but you'll remember everything about being the princess once you open the locket we want you to wear it so the limo driver will know who you are when you arrive we've missed you terribly and can't wait to see you again

Marinette was shocked at what she had just read . Sabine then handed her the box. She opened it and saw a beautiful golden locket with what  looked like a family crest was on it.

Marinette's POV

I opened it the locket and saw a picture of a woman with light blue eyes my eyes being a shade darker and my hair and a blonde hair man with grey eyes and a 8 years old me. The all the memories flooded my brain luckily I didn't faint from the sudden over use of my brain. But I do have a headache i blinked a few times and instantly started to miss my real parents. I then asked Sabine and Tom if I can call them Auntie and Uncle since I don't feel comfortable calling them Mom and Dad anymore. They then told me i could tell one person and that me and that person will fly first class and ride in limos. I decided that person is Alya of course. So i called her and told her to bring her packed things to my house face it's urgent. Then less than ten minutes passed and Alya came bursting through the door with her bags.

Alya: gurl what happened what's wrong what's the emergency

Marinette: calm down and  come to my room

We both went to my room sitting on my bed.

Marinette : Alya

Alya: yes

Marinette: i needto tell you something

Alya; what

Marinette: I'm the princess of China

Alya: OMG GURL THAT'S AWESOME

Marinette: i know i just remember that i was a princess not to long ago and now i can't wait to see my parents again after almost 8 years since my birthday is next month which is in a couple days

Alya: me either this going to be so much fun

Marinette; ikr

Alya: so I'm guessing I'm sleeping over since you said bring your bags

Marinette: yeah

Then the rest of the day we talked about how our class would react. Then i remember i had to tell Chat i waited until Alya was asleep but i was still there for patrol before Chat. I then saw a figure jumping from roof top to roof top. Then Chat landed in front of me. We patrolled and everything seemed peaceful. We even talked about us leaving Paris for a while. I was about to leave when Chat stopped me.

Chat: can i ask you something

He looked dead serious this must be important.

Ladybug: what is it

Chat: how do you feel about me I've tried to show you  countless times about how i feel about you and you always thought i was being a flirt how do you really feel

Marinette froze she did love Chat but loved Adrien more and just couldn't push those feelings aside. She decided to be honest with him.

Ladybug: look i love you too but i love someone else a little more and i just push those feelings aside I'm sorry

I avoided his eyes i had to leave before i cry because i could tell i hurt him badly. I just swung away and went back home. I then got in the bed and went to sleep thinking about Chat and Adrien why does life have to be so hard.
