People hardly glimpse at me. Soon the adoption session is almost over. "That's all for today, girls," Miss Spry said.

"Wait! I want to adopt," a voice cries.

Is this just a sick coincidence? Am I dreaming? If he's doing what I think he might do.

"But sir, adoption time is over," Ms Spry said. "This will be quick, I promise," Sky said. Ms Spry sighed. "We can make room for one more. But please hurry. You can pick anyone," Ms Spry huffed.

Adam goes through the line of girls, talking to them. He mainly asks stuff like "What are your interests?" And "What's your name?" Most girls say (literally, like only 3 girls said something different. They said stuff about sports or something) "I like One Direction, going to the mall... blah blah blaff." The usual sickening girl crap. Then Sky comes up to me. He winks. "What's your name?" I swallow (or at least try to. My throat still hurts.

"My name is Amber," I told him. "What are your interests?" He asks me. "Um, I like gaming and YouTube?" I said. Madison, who is next to me (she hasn't been asked anything) snickers. "What's your favorite game?" He asks. Madison's smirk changes to a frown. "Minecraft..." I say. Adam smiles and moves on.

Once he's passed Madison, she scowls at me. "He's not serious. He obviously likes me. I'll get adopted. Who would want a beat up piece of crap? Your not even pretty. Ms Spry has a right to beat you," she whisper snaps. Sky turns around and looks from Madison to me.

He heard.

A minute later he's finished. "So?" Ms Spry said. "Who do you pick? Pick anyone," Sky thinks for a second. "Her," he points at me. Madison's jaw drops. "M-m-me?" I say, pointing to myself. He nods. "I'd like Amber." Ms Spry looks from Adam to me, shocked. "You can't take Amber," Ms Spry snaps. He turns to her. "I would like Amber. You said I can pick anyone," he said. "But not Amber!" Ms Spry yelled. "Why not? Do you want her for a special reason? I thought you could pick anyone here. I guess this isn't as nice an orphanage as I thought it was," Sky said.

"Did I say no? I'm sorry, I meant yes!" Ms Spry said, not wanting to put her good reputation in jeopardy. "But first I'll need you to sign these papers," Ms Spry showed him to her office where he sat down and starting signing the papers. While Sky and Ms Spry were occupied, Madison decided to start tormenting, I mean, talking, to me. "Why would anyone want to adopt you?" Madison snapped. "What the heck is Po$h and Team Power Moves?" I glance over at Adam quickly. The sooner he's done, the sooner I'm out of here. I need to repay him when I'm back.

"It's something," I say, readjusting my hat. Madison rolled her eyes. "Why do you stay in your room all the time? Is it because you're watching YouTube on that old out of date computer you hid under your bed?" she snickered. That makes me perk up. "How do you know I was watching YouTube?" I muttered.

"Oh, because one day your headphones were slightly unplugged. I went into your room and looked where you were. I saw someone vlogging and they wore a Power Moves Only shirt and then when you watched the next vlog, someone had a Po$h shirt," she snapped. "Some guy called Mitch?" She said. I rolled my eyes. "Why would you care?" I said. "Oh, because one of the people in the videos looks suspiciously like the guy who's adopting you," Madison snapped. "I'm done," Adam said.

"Looks like I can't answer that question," I said. "Amber, go get your clothes from upside," Ms Spry huffed and handed me a plastic bag. I nodded and ran up to my room. Yes!! I can't believe it! I'm finally leaving! I hear someone following me. Uh oh. Madison will want to corner me so I can't leave. I quickened the pace and ran up the stairs. I could hear Madison panting behind me. I ran into my room and grabbed all the clothes I had (3 shirts, 3 jeans, 3 pairs of socks, and 3 pairs of underwear). I also put on my sneakers. Then I raced down the other staircase. I was on the second floor and almost to the adoption room, only to be cornered by June and Kara. Madison, June and Kara all forced me to go into a random girls room.

Oh no. Their going to try beat me.

I backed up against the wall and fiddled for the window. June, Kara and Madison all came up to me, fists ready. I fiddled with the window. I could probably jump down and only get minor ground shock. Come on, come, on! I fiddled with the window. Yes! I opened it. "Sayonara b*tch!" I yelled and jumped out the window. Luckily my sneakers made the ground shock less painful. Then I ran to the front of the orphanage and into the adoption room. I snuck across the room and to the stairs. Then I pretended to walk down them.

"Ready?" Adam asked. "I'm ready," I smiled. I can't wait to leave!! Adam smiled at me. Then I said goodbye to Ms Spry and walked out of the orphanage. FREEDOM!! I smiled with relief. "You didn't have to do that," I said. "You kidding? I had to do that. You obviously hated it and I'm not gonna let you get tormented. Plus I know what it's like," he said as he unlocked his car. I got into the passenger seat.

"I'm gonna quickly call Ty if that's okay," Adam says and grabs his phone as I shut the door. I put on my seatbelt as Adam called Ty.

"Hello? Hey Ty, it's Adam. Yeah. Yeah. Um, I just need to say something. I've adopted someone. Yeah. Her name's Amber," Sky said. "Ty, she got tortured. Yes I'm serious. Tell the others. Thanks. We'll be there in 5," Adam said and puts it on speaker. "Hi," I said. "Hey," Ty said. "By the way, she likes Minecraft," Sky said. "Awesome!" Ty cried. "I'm gonna tell the others. Bye Adam. Bye Amber." Ty said.

"Bye!" I said as Adam hung up. Adam put on his seatbelt and put his phone away. Then Adam started up the car. "Sayonara, Miss Spry," I whispered. "I'm looking forward to never seeing you again."

Then Adam drove away from the orphanage.

I have never felt so happy.

So I hope you enjoyed that. Amber finally left. She wasn't tortured, but Madison almost beat her up. Amber jumped out of a window. The orphanage has 3 floors, by the way. That's why Amber is a badass. And she got adopted by Team Crafted.

But I think she deserves it.
