Jessica hears a knock on the door so she takes a deep breath, checks herself in the mirror and opens the door.

"Hey!" Jessica smiles at the twins.

"You ready?" James smiles and holds his arm out for her.

Jessica bites her bottom lip and nods her head.

"Let's do it!"

It was a small church, but it was perfect for their small intimate wedding.  Their guests included Jessica's parents, her siblings and their families, and Sam's mother who was like a second mom to Jessica. From Danny's side he only invited his mom and sister.  Sarah, Evan and their family were the only friends invited, but they were always more like family than friends anyway.

Danny walked out and Zoe couldn't help but shed a few tears.
Her baby boy was getting married, she was happy for him, but she was upset with herself for missing so much. All the years she missed out on her son and grandson's life hurt her so much.
The fear of her husband finding out she was there haunted her at every moment.
It was the middle of June and she was wearing a long sleeved dress to cover the bruises John gave her.
She didn't know what he'd do if he found out that she was there, but she tried her best to forget about him and just enjoy her son's special day.
Zoe watched as Zachary and Michael stood beside Danny. All three of them looked so handsome.

Grayson stood at the back of the church with a cheeky smile on his face. He looked a little confused as to why everyone was dressed up and staring at him.
Danny chuckled and motioned for him to walk towards him.

"Just like we practiced in the living room last night, bud!" Danny says in a loud whisper.

Grayson smiles, then giggles and quickly runs to him.

"Good boy!" Danny bends down and hugs him.
"Now go stand with, Mikey." He pats his back.
"Okay!" Grayson smiles and walks to Michael.

The music changes and Danny felt his heart start pounding. His palms became sweaty, and he took deep breathes as he waited to see Jessica walking down the aisle.

"There's our cue." Jessica says to the twins.

"Yeah.." James smiles at his mother, before kissing her cheek.

"We love you, mom." Sam kisses the other side.

"I love you both!"

The doors open and Danny sees his beautiful bride.

The biggest and most happiest smile appeared on his face.

"Oh my gosh." He whispers to himself.

"She's so beautiful. She's so beautiful." He says under his breath as his future wife walks down the aisle in her cream colored wedding gown.

In a room full of people Jessica could only see Danny, and he, her. 
Jessica's bright smile lit up the entire room.

Danny didn't care how many people were there, when he saw her, he couldn't hold his tears back any longer.

When they got to the front of the alter Jessica hugged her boys and Danny gave them a quick hug before they took their place.

"Oh my gosh! You're so beautiful." Danny says looking at Jessica like she's made of gold.

"Thank you." Jessica giggles.

Danny looks her up and down and chuckles in disbelief.

"Danny?"

"Yeah?" His eyes come back to her's.

"You can stare at me later, but we kinda have something to do right now." She laughs and tilts her head towards the priest.

"Oh yeah! Sorry."

Vows.

"Jessica.. I honestly don't know where to start.  You are so beautiful to me, and truly a gift from God.  An angel on earth.  Michael used to tell me about how amazing his mother was, and I remember thinking, No one is like this.  No one is this perfect and amazing.  He's totally lying." Danny says making him and Jessica both chuckle.

"But it turns out that he was in fact one hundred percent correct.  Jessica, you are all those things he said you were.. and I think it's amazing that your sons can speak so fondly of you.  You're a lucky lucky lady.
The day we first met.. There was something that happened.  I felt so much love for you instantly.  Not only are you the most gorgeous woman on this earth.. But you have a heart of gold."

Danny's eyes started watering and he had Jessica in tears already.

"You are an amazing mom.. Your boys are your world, and that was one of the things that made me fall in love with you.  You are so sweet and never put yourself before anyone in your family.  You deserve so much, and I vow to you that I will spend the rest of my life giving you and our boys the best life I possibly can.  You are my world and I will love you forever and ever."

Danny wiped Jessica's tears with his thumb and kissed her cheek.

"Wow.." She says in a whisper before chuckling softly.

"Daniel.. You were everything I never knew I needed. You came into my life after an extremely hard time for my boys and I. You and Zachary have changed us for the better. You bring happiness to us. You are an amazing father to Zachary and an incredible father figure for my boys.. Especially Grayson.

The happiness I have just being with you is so.. Inexplainable! You make me smile no matter what, you make me feel beautiful when I'm having a major mommy day, messy bun, yoga pants, a shirt full of baby food and all. *Chuckles* I vow to you to be the best wife I can be. I promise to love you, support you, and take care of you in time of need. I love you from the bottom of my heart, Daniel Huston, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together. Thank you for loving me."

Danny smiled at her and they stared into each other's eyes in complete silence.

After the vows they planned to do a unity sand ceremony with the boys. Usually when couples get married they light candles as a way to symbolize their two lives becoming one. In this case there were five other people joining together. Jessica and her boys had blue sand, and Danny and Zachary had green sand.
Each blue was slightly different and the two greens were slightly different as well.

Jessica and Danny first poured their sand, then they went in age order.
Samuel, James, Zachary, Michael, then finally Grayson.

Danny lifts him up and Jessica takes the small jar of sand.
"I do it, I do it!" He reaches for it.

"Let mommy help you."

"No." He nods.

Everyone laughs at his stubbornness and Jessica chuckles.

"Grayson, you're gonna let mommy help you." She says sternly.

"I help!"

"Okay. Hold it right here."
Grayson holds the small glass and Jessica helps him pour it into the larger glass.

"Good boy!" She smiles.

"Yay!" Grayson smiles and claps his hands making everyone laugh.

"Heh! Okay, go stand Sam."

"No wit you!"

"Gray, I'm in the middle of something." She chuckles.

Danny laughs and Grayson pouts.

"I'll hold you in a second. Go with your brother now, please."

"Okay.." He looks down and Sam holds his hand.

"Do you Daniel Sallis Huston, take Jessica Phyllis Lange Shepard, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death parts you?"

Danny smiles at Jessica and says, "I do."

Jessica giggles and crinkles her nose.

"And do you Jessica Ph-"

"Mommy I gotta go potty!"

Jessica closes her eyes and nods her head as she lets out a huff.

"Shh!" Samuel tries getting him to be quiet.

"No!  Mama said tell her!" He says looking up to Sam.

"Mama I gotta go!" He breaks away and taps Jessica's leg.

Danny laughs and she looks at him and says, "This is what I get for trying to potty train him.

Grayson George. Go with your brother right now."

Grayson winces as he holds himself.

"Go in your diaper please."

"You sure?"

"Yes I'm sure." Jessica nods.

*Sighs* "Thank you, mama.."

James picks him up and Jessica rolls her eyes and chuckles.

"Shall we continue?" The priest laughs.

"Yes, please go on."

"Okay.
Do you Jessica Phyllis Lange Shepard take Daniel Sallis Huston as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death parts you?"

"I do." Jessica's smile grows.

"Well then, by the power vested by me, by the state of Minnesota, I now pronounce you.. Husband and wife."

Danny and Jessica look at each other with excitement.

"Daniel." The priest says.

"Yes!" Danny looks at him with a huge smile on his face.

"You may now kiss your bride."

"Yeah I can!" He shouts making Jessica laugh.

Danny grabs her and dips her down for a passionate kiss.

Their family cheers for them and they exit the church with their boys following behind.

"WE'RE MARRIED!" Jessica shouts.

"I know! You're my wife!"

"And YOU'RE MY HUSBAND!"

Danny laughs and kisses her lips.

"Mommy, I need a dipey"

Dorothy hears him and laughs.

"I'll take care of him, down worry about it."

"Are you sure? I can change him."

"No, don't be silly! You go. Be married!" She smiles.

"Thank you!"

After the wedding Zoe went up to Danny.

"Hi baby. Congratulations."

"Thank you so much, mom. I'm really happy you came."

"Oh son, I wouldn't have missed this for the world."

Danny smiles and kisses her cheek.

"It's a small wedding, so we didn't plan much of a reception, but we're all going to Jessica's parents house for food and maybe a little dancing. We'd love to have you."

"Oh I don't know.. I-I um..I"
Zoe saw the disappointment in her child's face as she stumbled on her words.  She didn't want to let him down again.

*Takes a deep breath* "Of course I'll be there."

"Great!" He smiles and hugs her tightly.

Zoe takes a sharp painful breath in and Danny hears her.

"You okay?"

"Yeah! Yeah, I'm fine, baby." She smiles softly.

At this time Jessica walks up.

"Hello Mrs. Huston!"

"Hello Jessica! You look beautiful." She smiles.

"Awe thank you! I'm so glad you came!"

"It was beautiful."

"Thank you so much!"

James' POV.

"Well hello handsome." He hears a voice from behind.

"Oh hey!" He smiles and walks closer to Caroline.

"I can't get over you in this suit!" She says messing with his jacket.

"Well thanks!  I do clean up pretty well, don't I?" James smirks.

Caroline laughs and the wrap their arms around each other.

He softly pecks her lips and asks, "Are you coming to the after thing at my grandparent's house?"

"Of course!"

"Good!"

James kisses her passionately and Caroline breaks it saying, "Your mom looks gorgeous."

"I really don't appreciate you talking about my mom while we kiss."

*Laughs* "I'm sorry!  But she really does."

"Yeah I know." He says staring at his mother with Danny.

"She looks so happy.  They both do."

"Yeah.."

"I've been with you for a little while now, and I've never seen her like this.  She was so sad before."

James turns to Caroline and nods.

"Yeah.. I'm happy for her."

When Jessica and Danny got to her parents house they were surprised to see their huge back yard decorated.

"Oh my gosh! I didn't know you were doing this!" Jessica widens her eyes.

"Well I know you guys just wanted food, but.. Well I wanted to surprise you both with a mini after party."

"Awe that's so sweet! Thank you!" Jessica hugs her mother.

"Oh it's no problem, we're happy to do it."

"The food was SO good! Wasn't it, baby?" Danny asks Jessica who was sitting on his lap.

"Yes, it was amazing!
This whole day has been amazing!"

She turns to her family and says, "Daniel and I didn't want a huge wedding. At this point of our lives, that's wasn't what was important. We just wanted to be married.. and we wanted to share it with the ones we love most.  I couldn't have asked for anything more perfect."

"Awe!! Now make a baby!" Ann shouts.

"Ann!" Jessica laughs.

"Ann, we haven't even gotten to the honeymoon part yet!"

"Well get to work!"

"Oh my gosh!" Jessica rolls her eyes.

"Are you guys going on a honeymoon?"

"No. At least not yet. We went to New York for my birthday, so that was kinda like an early honeymoon."

"Oh that's right. Well you two still deserve some alone time!"

"Oh we will. My parents are watching Grayson, and the boys will be at the house alone for the weekend. Danny and I are staying at a VERY nice hotel and spa." Jessica smiles and shakes Danny.

"Oh well then that's good!"

"Yeah!"

Jessica was sitting there with her sisters talking while Danny excused himself.

Suddenly music started to play but Jessica didn't really pay much attention.

"May I have this dance, pretty lady?"

Jessica turns and Danny was there with his hand out.

She smiles and takes his hand.

"What are you doing?" She laughs as they sway together.

"We have to have our first dance as husband and wife, my dear."

"Yeah, I guess we do."

You are so beautiful by Joe Cocker played.

Jessica couldn't stop from smiling and crying tears of happiness.

"Don't cry! Why are you sad?"

"I'm not sad. I just love you, that's all."

"Aw. I love you too."

Jessica laid on his chest and looked up to him occasionally.
She loved the way he looked at her with so much love.

They gave each other kisses every once in a while, but when the song ended, Jessica's temple was pressed against his jaw and he mumbled the lyrics into her ear, "You are so beautiful.. To me."

Jessica looked at him with a beautiful smile and they shared a deep kiss.

Music continued to play and her dad came over to dance with her, then her brother and finally her boys.

"I feel so popular! Everyone just wants to dance with me!"

The boys laugh and they take their turn dancing with their mother.

"You look beautiful, mom."

"Awe thank you, Samuel!"

"You know.. For a mom of four.. Well FIVE now!"

"Hey!" She laughs and taps his arm.

"I'm just playing with you."

"Alright, my turn!"

"My James-Y!" Jessica smiles.

He chuckles and they start dancing.

"I saw Caroline." Jessica smirks.

"She looks gorgeous, doesn't she?"

"She does! I'm happy that you two have stayed together.. I really like her."

"Thank you! I do too." He says making Jessica laugh.

..

"Excuse me, may I cut in?" Zachary says.

Jessica smiles and starts dancing with him.

"Zach, we're finally official!"

Zachary chuckles and says, "I know!  It's so crazy.. Mom!"

"Awe!" She smiles and hugs him tight.

"You and your father have made our little family complete, and I'm so so blessed to have you both in my life."

"We feel the same about you guys.  We're family."

"Nuh-uh-uh!" Jessica slightly raises her eyebrows.

Zachary smiles and says, "We're Ohana."

"There it is!" She chuckles.

...

"Mikey!"

"Mom!  Heh!  You're married now!"

"I know!  Ahh!"

Michael laughs and Jessica looks up to him.

"Where did my little baby go?  You're taller than me.. Almost a senior in high school!  My little baby is becoming a man."

Michael smiles and says, "I am.. But I'll be okay.  You and dad did a great job with me."

Jessica tears up and Michael continues.

"And now coach.  He's taught me a lot.  With that many amazing people in my life, and Samuel as a what NOT to do!  I think I'll be okay."

Jessica laughs and hugs him.

"Of course you will!  You're a Shepard, darling!"

...

"I dance with mommy!  I dance with mommy!" Grayson jumps.

Jessica giggles and grabs his hands.  She spins him around, then picks him up and dances with him.

"Mommy, you are so beautiful." Grayson says in his baby voice.

Jessica smiles and kisses his cheek.

"You're such a sweet boy, thank you so much!"

Grayson lays on her and "We are family" starts.

Everyone gets up and dances.

"Perfect song choice, Mr. Huston."

"Thanks, I thought so too!" He laughs.

"I'm heading out.. Jessie." Sam's mother takes her hands.

"I want you to know how happy I am for you."

"That means a lot to me.  Thank you, Jane."

Jane smiles and her and Jessica share a hug.

She pulls away and takes a deep breath.

"Goodbye Daniel!  Welcome to the family." She chuckles and gives him a hug.

"Thank you, Mrs. Shepard!  And thanks again for coming."

"Of course!  You guys have a lovely weekend."

"We will!  Love you!" Jessica says.

"Love you too!"

"Bye Jessie!  You look great!  You're so gorgeous!"

"Awe thank you, McKenna!" Jessica gives her a hug.

"You're welcome!  I wanna get married too!"

"No you don't, little girl!  Not for a long long long long loooong long time!"

"Daddyyy!" McKenna whines and Jessica laughs.

"Bye you guys!  Thanks for everything!"

"Bye everyone!  Grayson, you be good for grandma and grandpa!  Boys, you guys be good!
Michael and Zachary, keep an eye on the twins, please."

"Will do, mom!" Michael says.

"Hey!" The twins both shout at the same time.

"Heh!  Be good!" Jessica points her finger at them.

"I always am!" James says.

"I always-" Sam stops when he sees the look Jessica is giving him.

"James is always good!" He points to him.

"I know but.. James, no girls in the house while I'm gone, do you understand?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Alright.  Thank you.  Bye you guys!  Love you!"

When they got to the hotel Jessica changed into something that she thought Danny might like.

When she walked out, Danny's eyes popped.
"Oh hot mama!"

"Heh!  Thanks!"

Danny jumps out of bed and grabs her in his arms making her jump.

Jessica kisses his lips and undresses him.

They lay out on the bed and Danny nibbles at her neck.

Danny laughs and lays on his stomach.

Jessica takes a hard bite of his butt and Danny shouts, "Ow!  Fuck, Jess!"

Jessica giggles and he grabs her and pins her to the bed.

He unhooks her bra and throws it to the side.

"If I'm marked, then you have to be too!"
