Father's Day.

"Oh my goodness! Nova, are you up already? You're so quiet, pretty girl! You're such a quiet girl! Are you ready for some breakfast? Hm? What would you like today?"

Jessica turns her head and lowers her ear to the baby.

"You want some boobie milk? Well I can make that happen, beautiful!" Jessica smiles and gets ready to feed her.

"Look at my two girls."

"Oh my gosh! Danny, you scared me!" Jessica jumps.

"I'm sorry!"

"It's okay.. Happy Father's Day!" Jessica smiles and walks over to kiss him.

"Thank you, baby!"

"Say, Happy Father's Day, Dada!" Jessica says in a baby voice.

"Awe! Hows daddy's princess doing today?"

"Amazing as always! She's such a good baby, Danny."

"She is, isn't she?"

"Yeah.. She was just looking around and kicking her little legs everywhere!"

"Awe.."

*Gasp* "Today's my baby boy's first Father's Day!"

"It's weird, isn't it?" Danny chuckles.

"Very! Oh my little boy is all grown up!"

"Wanna go tell brother happy Father's Day with momma?"

"You might wanna wait till she's finished eating, or Sam might have a heart attack."

"Oh right!" Jessica laughs.

"Happy Father's Day, baby boy!"

"Thanks, mom!" Sam smiles as Jessica hugs him.

"I still can't believe you're a daddy!  I'm so so proud of you, Samuel." She hugs him tighter.

"Thanks, mom!"

Happy Father's Day, Sam." Danny smiles and pats his back.

"Thank you!  Happy Father's Day to you too.. Thanks for being a great dad to all of us."

"Oh Sam.. Thank you!  That really means a lot to me." Danny smiles and hugs him.

Baby Samuel starts fussing so Sam turns to him and takes him from Tiffany.

"What's the matter, little bear?"

Samuel stops crying and looks straight ahead with a blank face.

"Awe! He wanted his daddy!" Jessica smiles.

"My little man!" Sam kisses his head.

"He doesn't look amused." Michael chuckles.

"He has a diaper rash."

"Tiff, don't be telling his business! You'll embarrass him!" Sam says making her laugh.

"Awe! His little poor little tooshy!" Jessica pouts.

Samuel just looks at Jessica with his brows lowered and his lips puckered.

"Oh you're such a cutie! Who has the cutest grand baby ever? Grandma does!"

Danny smiles at Jessica's cuteness.

Samuel cracks the smallest smile and Jessica continues talking to him.

"Oh my handsome baby! Look at that smile! Oh you're precious!" Jessica plays with his cheeks and kisses him making him give her a huge toothless smile.

"Oh you're so cute it hurts!"

"Just like his dad." Sam smiles and bounces the baby lightly.

"Yes honey, just like you." Jessica chuckles and pats his back.

"Happy Father's Day, daddy!" Grayson runs to Danny.

Danny picks him up so he's now holding both kids.

"Thank you, buddy!" Danny kisses his cheek.

"I love you so much! Thank you for being my daddy when my other daddy is in Heaven." Grayson kisses his cheek and lays on his shoulder.

"Oh Grayson! You are the sweetest little boy I've ever met! I'm so so honored to be your second father. I love you so much, little dude."

Grayson smiles and hugs Danny tighter as Jessica tears up.

"Hey it's Sam's first Father's Day!" Grayson pops his head up and giggles.

"Yes it is, baby!" Jessica smiles.

"Happy Father's Day, Sam!"

"Heh! Thank you, Grayson!" Sam smiles.

"Nova you have little scratches on your face! You need to leave your little mittens on, Princess. You're face is too cute to have scratches!" Jessica smiles.

Nova fusses as Jessica puts her mittens on her tiny hands.

"Oh what's the matter? You're fine!"

Nova cries harder and arches her back.

"Oh the world is just so hard, isn't it my little drama queen?"

"What's she doing?" Danny chuckles walking into the room and only hearing that last part.

"She hates her mittens."

"Poor baby!" Danny says in a cute voice.

"She needs to wear them! She keeps digging her nails into her beautiful face.. She'll be fine!"

Jessica picks her up and kisses her forehead.

"Goodness you smell so good! Smell her, daddy!"

"Mmm! I love baby smell!" Danny smiles.

"It's the best!"

"Yeah.. Hey, my dad.. Well my dad cousin."

Jessica laughs and nods her head.

"He called me."

"For what?"

"Father's day."

"Really? Why?"

"I don't know, he's never done that before.. Ever! He said congratulations on the new baby and grand baby too.. It was strange."

"Yeah.. I mean that's nice! But yeah, that's strange."

Nova makes a cute little noise making them both smile.

"Come here my pretty little lady bug!" Danny takes her and kisses her chubby cheeks.

Jessica smiles and places her hand on his lower back.

"She's so cute! How did we make her so perfect? I am so proud of us, babe."

Jessica smiles and Danny continues, "I swear, if we were younger and didn't already have so many kids, and a grand baby! Man, I'd get you pregnant all the time! She's just so cute!"

"You're such a dork." Jessica laughs.

A few days have passed and there is a cold starting going through the house.
Sam got it first, and now Jessica has it.

"Daniel, I can't breathe." Jessica says in a stuffy voice.

"My poor baby!  Why don't you blow your nose, babe?"

"I did, Danny!  I just sound like this!"

"Okay, I'm sorry!  Did you take any medicine?"

"I'm nursing, what can I take?"

"Oh right.. I don't know."

"I'll be fine.  I just hope I don't get her sick!"

"Why don't you just pump and give her a bottle."

"Oh she'll totally freak out, Danny!"

"Just try it and see what she does."

"Alright."

"WAAAHH!!"

"I told you!  She's miserable!"

"It still has the same taste."

"It's not her mommy!" Jessica says lifting her shirt to feed the baby.

"Well I guess if I had the option of a rubber nipple and yours, I'd definitely chose to suck on your nipple babe." Danny smiles.

"Thanks." Jessica chuckles rolls her eyes.

"Oh look, she's fine now!  You really are your father's child, aren't you, Nova?"

Nova looks up to her mother with her big beautiful eyes.

"Oh she makes my heart melt!  Look at those eyes!"

"Gorgeous!  She has her mother's eyes." Danny smiles.

"Thanks, baby." Jessica sniffles.

"My poor little sickey Princess!" Danny wraps his arms around Jessica's stomach and kisses her cheek.

"I know!" Jessica pouts and relaxes onto him.

"After she finishes eating why don't you lay down and get some rest, and I'll make some yummy dinner."

"That sounds good.  Thank you, baby!" Jessica smiles and kisses his cheek.

Jessica tried resting, but since Nova was wide awake, she decided to just hang out in the living room.

"Look at these beautiful babies!" Jessica smiles at both babies propped up on a boppy pillow.

"Samuel looks so fat next to Noah!" Sam laughs.

"Don't call my baby fat!" Tiffany hits his arm.

"Yeah, he's not fat, Samuel, he's just well fed!" Jessica says.

"Nova is too, but my boy is a chunker!" Jessica smiles and playfully pinches his chubby thigh.

"Nova's getting little rolls and a little belly too!" Tiffany smiles and tickles Nova's chubby belly.

"I know!  My baby girl is getting some meat on her little bones!"

Nova smiles at Jessica and kicks her legs.

"Hi baby!" Jessica says in a cute voice.

"Awe she's so happy when you talk to her!  She loves her momma!" Tiffany smiles.

"Yes she does!"

Samuel looks at Jessica and smiles and kicks his legs just like Nova.

"Hi baby boy!  Grandma loves seeing her little man's smile!  My goodness, you're cute!"

"Cause he looks like his old man." Sam smiles.

"Yes he does, baby." Jessica giggles and lays her head on his arm.

"Bye mom!"

"Zachary, where are you going?"

"Out." He smiles.

"Your father's making dinner."

"Mom, I have plans!  Besides, James and Caro are coming over, you won't even miss me."

"Yes we will!  I like for all of my boys to be home!" Jessica pouts.

"Mom, don't pout!"

"Well why don't you stay home?"

"I wanna go hang out with my friends!" Zachary whines.

"Fine!  Go!"

"I won't be out all night."

"You better not be!"

"I promise." Zachary smiles and kisses her cheek before leaving.

Dinner.

"And then!  My friend Connor said he was going to fly all the way to Disney World!"

"Oh really?  Wow, Grayson!  Are you excited for Connor?" Caroline smiles.

"No way, man!"

She chuckles and Grayson continues.

"I wanna go to Disney!  Daddy said no cause we have all the babies, but I wanna go!!  My baby sister can see whinnie the pooh!  We can buyed her some Mickey Mouse ears, she'll love it!  Baby Samuel will too!"

"I think you're right Gray! But maybe your mommy and daddy will take you next year when the babies are a bit older?"

"I wanna go now!" He frowns.

"I can go with Connor's family!"

"Just wait a year, Grayson. We'll go, I promise!" Danny smiles.

"You promise?"

"Yes!"

"Good! Cause you taken me twice and I be a baby all the time! I don't even remember it! There's a picture of me crying with Mickey Mouse though in my room!"

"Yes, you were so scared!" Jessica says.

"But not anymore!"

"Nope!"

"Cause I'm big! I'm a man now, mommy."

"Oh you are, huh?"

"Yep! I'm all growned."

"You're all growned." Jessica chuckles.

"Yep! Hey guess what happened on the last day of school!"

"What happened, baby?"

"My friend Kaylee let me touch her boob!" Grayson smiles.

*Gasp* "Grayson!"

"Mommy she told me too!"

"Oh my goodness! Grayson!" Jessica's voice grew louder.

"Good job, little buddy! It took James till freshman year of college to get that far!" Sam laughs and high fives Grayson.

Caroline's eyes widen and she hits James.

"Hey! I didn't say it!"

"Samuel stop it! Grayson, that isn't good! We don't touch anyone's private parts."

"Why not?"

"Because that's invading someone else's privacy and it's not nice!"

"Mom, she told him to touch it." Sam says as Jessica gives him a look.

"Yeah mommy!"

"Boys, enough! Grayson, I don't want you touching anyone like that again, do you understand me?"

"Yes mommy..."

"No more play dates with Kaylee for you, mister!" Jessica points her finger at him.

"Oh man! Mommy, that's not nice!"

"Do you touch that place all the time?"

"Well only when she tells me too."

"Well at least he's respectful." Michael says.

"We still don't do that!"

"Okay... Can I at least touch myself?"

Danny laughs and rubs his face.

"Will you just eat your food, please?"

"I love him!" Tiffany laughs.

"I love you too, Tiff!" Grayson looks over and smiles.

"Dinner time at the Huston/Shepard house is always entertaining." Caroline laughs.
