"Okay, I'm back! Let's get that booty upstairs!"

"Usually I'd be all for it, but in this case I want to strangle you for saying those words.

"Well how about I help you upstairs annnnd.." Jessica smiles and bites her bottom lip.

"Yes?" Danny sits up.

"I'll give you a little surprise." She smirks.

"Oh shit, let's go!" Danny throws his blanket off and grabs his cane.

Jessica laughs and gets up to help him.

"Go slow, baby. There's no rush!"

Danny walks slowly and whines.

"Does it hurt?"

"No, actually it feels great."

Jessica looks up at him and laughs.

"That was a dumb question I guess!"

"It's okay, I love you anyway!" Danny kisses her lips.

"Carful going up the stairs, let's just go really really slow, okay?"

Danny nods and grabs a tighter hold of his cane.

After finally reaching the top of the stairs Jessica helped him into bed.

"That was pretty terrible.."

"I'm sorry baby." Jessica pouts.

"Thank you so much for taking care of me, baby. I really appreciate it."

"Oh honey it's no problem! I have to take care of my baby!" She smiles.

Danny chuckles and says, "Now for my.. Reward." He smirks.

"Hehe! First let me give you a sponge bath!"

Jessica hops off the bed and grabs all that she needs.

She climbs up on the bed and straddles him, then pulls his shirt off.

Danny places his hand on her thighs and smiles.

Jessica grabs the wet wash cloth and cleans behind his neck, and his face.

Danny chuckles and Jessica moves the towel away and kisses his lips.

She washes his chest and softly places her other hand on his side.

Jessica gives small kisses to his muscular chest, then works on his arms.

Once she's finished with that, she climbs off of him and pulls his shorts and underwear off.

"Turn on your side so I can get your back."

Danny does what she says.

Once she is finished, she dries him off with a clean towel.

Jessica purposely ignored his erection, but let the roughness of the towel softly graze him.

Danny takes a deep breath in and mumbles, "Jessica."

Danny places his hand on her back and she bends over to kiss him.

Jessica climbs on the bed and straddles him with her butt facing him.

Danny grabbed her cheeks in his hands, and massaged them as Jessica took him in her mouth.

Danny lays his head back and breathes deeply.

He grabs the top of her shorts and pulls them down.

Jessica moves so he can slide them down her legs, then Danny grabs her hips and pulls her closer to him.

The next morning.

Jessica and Danny still had the house to themselves.

Grayson stayed with Jane, and the boys were with a friend.

"I love it when I wake up with you." Jessica says laying on his chest.

Jessica closes her eyes and takes in the amazing feeling, the quietness and the love that surrounded them.

"I wish we could wake up like this everyday.."

"I know..

Danny, I've been giving it a lot of thought, I really have.

I know that I'll eventually have to sell mine and Sam's house.. It's just hard."

"I understand.. You two had a lot of great memories together in that house. You both worked hard to get it, and you worked hard to keep it after he passed away.

Plus you have boys to worry about. I'm sure this won't be an easy thing for them to go through."

"No..

If we decide that's what's gonna happen, then I'm gonna have to sit them down and have a long talk with them."

"Yeah.."

*Sighs* "But let's not talk about that right now! I'm gonna go make you some breakfast in bed." She kisses his chest, then smiles.

"Awe thanks baby." Danny rubs her back.

Jessica and Danny sit in bed and eat their breakfast.

"Danny?"

"Yeah baby?"

"Do you love me?"

"Of course I love you!  Why would you ask that?"

"I don't know, I just asked." She smiles cutely.

"Daniel.. I don't think we should keep things from each other.. I want you to know everything.. Which you do I guess... Well wait! There is one thing I've never told you."

"What is it?"

"When I was about five months pregnant with Grayson, I was at work and I had been having these really bad pains all day that wouldn't go away. I went to the bathroom and I was bleeding, I was terrified that I was losing him. George took me to the hospital and told me he was fine, but that I had an ovarian cyst. They did bloodworm and in the meantime I was in excruciating pain.

*Sighs*

The results came back and they told me that the cyst I had was cancerous."

Danny widens his eyes and gasps.

"Jessie, I had no idea that you had to go through that. What happened?"

"Well I literally had no options. If I was to not do anything about it, I would spend the rest of my pregnancy in pain, and the cancer would more than likely spread all throughout my stomach. The baby wouldn't be affected by it, but they would have had to closely monitor me and get him out as soon as he was able to survive on his own. My only option really was to remove my right ovary. It was absolutely terrifying because there was a chance Grayson would die. It was a very small chance, but it was still there, and that scared me more than anything. I was willing to go the entire pregnancy just to keep him safe. I probably wouldn't have made it, but I wanted him safe.

We had just lost Sam and my boys and brother begged me to just have the surgery.

After that everything was okay. I was fine, the baby was fine. It was just an incredibly scary bump in the road."

"Oh wow.. Jessica, I am so sorry that happened."

Jessica got a little emotional thinking about the past, so Danny moved his food to the nightstand and pulled her close.

"It's okay baby.. Everything's fine now." He rubs her arm to comfort her.

"After the surgery, I had forgotten about Sam.. That he was gone."

"You did?"

"Yeah, it was so stupid!" She cries.

"Oh baby that's normal! I just feel terrible for you though. You are such a strong woman, Jessica."

Jessica cuddles into him a bit more, and he asks, "So you only have one ovary?"

"Yeah."

"Oh.."

"Yeah.. So enough about me. Your turn."

"My turn for what?" Danny chuckles nervously.

"Your turn to tell me something I don't know about you."

"Oh baby, you know everything about me!"

"Are you sure?"

"Positive!"

"Danny you liar!" Jessica quickly moves away from him.

"What baby?"

*Sighs* "I'm sorry.. I didn't want to just go off on you like that. Your sister told me to wait until you told me, but.. I just don't understand why you haven't told me."

"What do you mean? What did she say?"

"She told me about all that you went through with the drugs and alcohol."

"Oh she did?"

"Yeah.. Baby, why didn't you tell me? You know I would never judge you! You know about what I've been through, and you never once judge me, why wouldn't I do the same for you? It's a sickness and some people don't understand that.. But we do. I just wish you would open up to me."

"Jessica, I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't say anything. I'm ashamed of who I was, and I promised myself that I would never talk about that moment of my life again.

When I'm with you, I'm happy.. I just didn't want to bring in this dark past."

"I understand.."

Danny takes a deep breath and says, "I was doing everything wrong.. I wasn't a good dad to him.

Camille did everything and.. I felt hopeless. He would cry day and night for his mother, and there was absolutely nothing I could do. I couldn't bring his mother back, and for that I felt like a failure.

I'd leave him with my parents and say I was working nightshifts. The truth was I was going to bars and getting drunk.. Dangerously drunk. Soon I fell in with this group that was up to no good. That was when I got into drugs.

My sister noticed the dramatic change and took Zachary away for a while. My parents stopped talking to me, but my sister.. If it wasn't for her, I'd be dead." Danny says with tears in his eyes.

Jessica listens and her heart aches for him.

"I was in rehab for a while.. And I've been okay since then.  It was a long and painful journey..

What hurt the most out of all of this was that my parents didn't just stop talking to me.. They stopped talking to their grandson as well.  He asked for them a lot.. That hurt me. When your child wants someone that they can't see.. I guess you understand that, don't you?"

Jessica nods.

"It's not that I thought you would judge me, or think that we weren't at that point in our relationship yet.. It was just that I don't like talking about it.. I block that out.  I wanted to be strong for you and talking about it.. I don't feel strong.. I feel like that young, stupid, worthless kid."

"Danny you're none of those things!"

"...I love you."

"I love you too."

"Thank you for making me a better man."

Jessica smiles and hugs him.

"Thank you for being with me even though I'm a broken mess."

"Oh don't say that."

"We're both broken.. That's why we go so well together.  Our pasts are kinda similar.  It's really crazy how God worked this all out.  After Sam I didn't think I could ever be happy again.. Ever!  But I am now and I'm so grateful.  I miss Sam everyday and he will always be the love of my life.. But who says you can't have two?" She chuckles with tears slowly falling down her cheeks.

"That's true!  We're blessed, aren't we baby?"

"Yes we are." She smiles.

Danny and Jessica laid there in each other's arms and enjoyed the peace in quiet before Grayson returns.
