A few days later.

Tonight was Caroline and James' last night at the house before moving.

"Mom, you didn't have to make us all this! I mean, I'm glad you did, but you shouldn't be on your feet for so long and over a hot stove!"

"Oh Jamesy, it's not a problem! Everyone just sit down and eat!"

They all had a nice time talking while enjoying their delicious meal Jessica had prepared for them.

"I'm so happy you have daddy's house.. I've missed it so much." Jessica says.

"Me too.. It's gonna be great to be back home." James smiles softly.

"I can't wait to one day make breakfast on Saturday mornings for my kids like dad did for us.. Watch cartoons in the living room before basketball practice.. I'll of course coach." His smile grows.

Jessica tears up and smiles at her son.

"I'm just so excited for this amazing new chapter in our lives.." James turns to Caroline and places his hand on hers.

"I'm so happy that you're the one I get to share it with."

"Awe!" Jessica and Tiffany both say in tears.

Sam and Danny turn to them.

"He's so sweet!" Tiffany says.

"He's just like his daddy! Oh my baby boy is all grown up!"

"What's happening?" Grayson looks at the two women with a confused face.

"There's too much pregnancy in one house." Sam says before Jessica and Tiffany turn to hit him on the arm.

"Ow! Who put me between these two?!"

April 20th.

"Happy Birthday, my little ball of baby!" Danny says in a cute voice waking Jessica up.

"Hi baby.." Jessica slowly opens her eyes.

Danny kisses her belly, then her lips.

"Happy Birthday, gorgeous."

"Thank you, handsome!"

"How's our little love bug this morning?"

"She's good!" Jessica giggles.

"Novaaaaa! It's daddy!" Danny says with his mouth on her belly.

Jessica laughs and the baby kicks his face.

"Ah, she's moving! She loves her daddy's voice!" Jessica says cutely.

"What are you doing in there, little princess? Whatcha doin' pretty girl!" He chuckles and gives little kisses to his unborn baby.

"She's so adorable. I can't wait to meet her!"

"Me too.. Hey Danny, what's her middle name?"

"I don't know.. Do you have any in mind?"

"Well I really like Bella." Jessica smiles.

"Nova Bella.. Jess, that's so beautiful!"

"I thought so too!"

"Awe.. Nova Bella Huston.. Sounds like a princess already!" Danny smiles.

"Now excuse me, Nova Bella.. I have to give mommy her first birthday present." Danny looks up and smirks at Jessica.

"Ohh?" Jessica giggles as Danny climbs up her body to kiss her lips.

"Happy Birthday, mommy!" Grayson runs to her wearing a birthday hat and holding a party horn.

"Thank you, baby! Oh you look so cute!" Jessica giggles and gives him a hug.

"Me, Sam and Tiffany made breakfast for you!"

"Oh you did! Thank you guys!"

"No problem! Happy Birthday, momma." Sam smiles and hugs her.

"Thank you, baby."

"Happy Birthday, Jessie!"

"Thank you, Tiff! How are you feeling today?"

"Great! You?"

"Pretty good!" Jessica smiles.

That night they all went out to eat as a family.

"Mommy, is Nova your birthday present?" Grayson asks.

"All of my boys and my little girl are my presents!"

"All of us?  Daddy too?"

"Danny too." Jessica giggles.

"And Caroline, and Tiffany, and of course my little grandson as well!" She smiles.

"My nephew?!" Grayson smiles.

"Yes, your nephew." Jessica chuckles.

James was sitting next to Sam, and throughout the dinner he noticed Sam to be a little flirty with Tiffany.

Tiffany was reading the menu, and Sam played with her ponytail.

"Your hair is so soft!"

Tiffany chuckles and continues reading the menu.

"Mmm! It smells good too!"

"Thanks." She laughs.

His wine went straight to his head and he was feeling pretty good. Sam soon became very touchy.

He softly caressed his hand up and down Tiffany's back.
James just kept watching him, but Sam's eyes stayed glued to Tiffany.

Once they left the restaurant Sam helped Tiffany into his car.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" James pulls on Sam's arm as he gets into the passenger seat.

"What?"

"I saw you with Tiff.."

"Yeah, she was sitting right next to me."

"No, I saw the way you looked at her! Do you like her?"

"Well of course I like her! We're friends."

"No, do you like her?"

"Oh! Haha..No!"

"Sam, I think you're falling for this girl and you're just to afraid to say it."

"Sam Shepard isn't going to be tied down to a woman so soon, James." Sam nods.

"Wake up and smell the dirty diapers, dude! You are tied down to her!! You might as well have some fun."

Sam looks down, then says, "Okay maybe I've been having these feelings, but I've never felt anything like it! It's like.. Like.. My insides get all fuzzy when I see her.. My hands get sweaty and my knees get all gooey!"

"You like her!"

"Shh!" Sam freaks out because his brother was so loud.

"She's REALLY pretty!"

"Yeah, she's hot." James agrees.

"But.. I don't know...We're having a baby soon. A relationship isn't something we should worry about right now."

"Well if it's meant to be, it'll happen."

"Yeah.. I'll text you later, okay?"

"Yeah. See you tomorrow."

By the time everyone got home, they were exhausted and went straight to bed.

Sam was half asleep when he heard a small knock on the door.
He opened his eyes and Tiffany was walking in.

"Sam, I don't feel well.  Could I sleep in here with you, please?"

"Of course!  Are you okay?"

"Yeah.. I just can't get comfortable."

"Oh.  Well yeah, get in." Sam says moving his blankets.

"Thank you!"

Tiffany laid down and reached back to grab Sam's hand and place it on her belly.

Sam smiles and relaxes into his pillow.

A few minutes pass and Sam thinks Tiffany is out.

He looks at her body, then kisses her shoulder and takes in her delicious scent.

"Sam?"

*Gasp* "What?  I-I was asleep!"

"You were?"

"Yeah, I was dreaming that uh.. I-I was on a video game and I.. I kissed.. Something.."

Tiffany turns to him and laughs.

"You like video games?" He asks nervously trying to change the subject.

"Yeah!  You have Destiny 2?"

"Destiny 2?  Yeah I have it!" Sam jumps up and sets the game up.

"Have you played Until Dawn?"

"Played it?  I crapped my pants playing it!" Sam says.

Tiffany laughs and sits cris cross in the bed.

"Go get some potato chips, and a beer for yourself.  You can't play Xbox without a beer and chips!"

Sam just stares at her before breaking the silence.
"Oh my gosh, I love you!" He says making Tiffany laugh.
