"I'm 36 weeks today!  I'm full term, which means the baby can come at any moment now!" Jessica says walking downstairs.

"That's weird!  This pregnancy has gone so fast!" Sam says.

"I know!  This kid is almost here!"

"We should try to get him out now!" Michael excitingly says.

"I've been googling it and there are a ton of things you can do to get him out!

It's Saturday, and you're off, why don't we do it now?"

"Now?" Jessica laughs.

"Yeah, why not?  You're ready for him, aren't you?"

"Well yeah."

"We can start off with a walk.

We can go all the way to grandmas!"

"Heh!  And who's gonna drive back and pick my ass up?"

Michael laughs and says, "Well we can just do the rest of our exercises over there!"

"You're really into this, aren't you, Mikey?" Jessica laughs.

"Yeah!  I just want him here!"

"Alright, then let's do it!

Grayson, you've been evicted, buddy!" She looks down and pats the sides of her belly.

Jessica threw on some leggings and one of Sam's jersey's from his favorite team, and some boots.

She didn't bother putting makeup on, and she clipped her hair up, away from her face.

"Alright, I'm ready." Jessica says out of breath from walking down the stairs.

"You okay?" Sam asks.

"Yeah, he's just getting too big!" She circles her hand on her stomach.

Five minutes into their walk, Jessica stops.

"Ah! Hang on, guys!"

"You okay?" James asks.

Michael gets a big smile on his face and says, "Alright it's working!!"

"Heh! No.. Ow.. It's just Braxton hicks." Jessica breathes in and out.

"Okay.. I'm better now." She stands up straight and fixes her shirt.

"Boys I have to pee!"

"We're almost to grandmas."

"You don't understand! I'm gonna pee on myself!"

"Mom! You can't!"

"I'm going behind that bush!" She tiptoes away in a hurry.

"Mom stop! It's only like two minutes away!"

"Samuel, I can't hold it!" Jessica hides behind the bush and the boys turn around.

When Jessica is finished, she runs back laughing.

"What?"

"Somebody saw me! Let's get out of here!" She laughs.

"Oh God! Only mom!" Sam rolls his eyes.

They knock on the door and Dorothy opens it.

"Hey! I wasn't expecting you! Come in!

Oh Jessie, look at you! Your belly dropped even more! He's so low now!"

"Tell me about it! He's right on my bladder, so I've been peeing so much!"

"We walked over here and she had to run and pee in the bushes."

Jessica and Dorothy both laugh.

"Why did you walk here?"

"We're trying to get baby Grayson to come out."

"Already?!"

"I'm thirty six weeks! Might as well start trying now, right?"

"Yeah, I guess so. You have an appointment on Monday, right?"

"Yep! I'm getting a 3D ultrasound!" Jessica smiles.

"Oh awesome!"

"Yeah, you wanna come with me?"

"Yes!"

Albert walks into the living room and goes over to hug Jessica.

"Hey princess! How's my girl doing?"

"Good! Exhausted and swollen, but good!" She smiles.

"Aw, well you look beautiful."

"Thanks, dad!" She smiles.

Dorothy fixes them something to eat, then Michael says, "Alright, back to getting Grayson out!"

"Oh Mikey, I'm so tired!" Jessica whines.

"I'm too tired to have a baby!" She lays back and rubs her stomach.

"Why are you so into getting him out so soon, Mike?" Samuel asks.

"I don't know.. I just want him here."

Sam pulls him aside while everyone talks and asks, "Is this about dad?"

"What?"

"Are you trying get mom to go into labor because of what she was saying about having him as a distraction on dad's birthday?"

"No.. I don't know.

Maybe!

Sam, I'm worried about her. How is she gonna be on his birthday? Mom has had a hard time, and I'm just scared."

"Mikey, it'll be okay. She has us."

"I know I'm probably over reacting, I'm just... I don't know, it's stupid."

"It's not stupid."

"What's not stupid?" Jessica overhears them.

"Nothing."

"Mikey's just worried."

"About what?"

"Drop it, Sam."

"Boys, tell me what's going on!"

Michael sighs and says, "I wanted the baby out now so that you'd have something to be happy about on dad's birthday."

"Awe sweetie, I do have something to be happy about on your father's birthday!

I have you and your brothers!  You three are all I need!  You, Samuel, James and Grayson are what makes happy!  Grayson's not the only only that. An put a smile on my face."

"Really?"

"Yes, really!  If he comes before, that'll be great, but if he doesn't, then we're gonna do something together to make it special!"

"Okay.." Michael nods with watery eyes.

"You okay?"

He nods and Jessica reaches her hand up for Samuel to help her up.

She pulls Michael onto her and hugs him tight.

He starts crying and Jessica says in a tearful voice, "Don't cry, baby boy!  He's in a better place!  I know it's difficult, I know it is!  But at least he didn't suffer.. He's watching over us, sweet boy!  Don't cry because he's not with you anymore.. Wipe your tears and smile because he Was with you and will Always be with you!"

Michael looks into her eyes and Jessica wipes his cheeks.

"I love you, my precious precious baby boy." Jessica smiles.

He chuckles lightly and smiles.

"I love you too, mom."

The next morning.

After church, everyone went over to Jessica's mother in laws house.

"Look at him moving around!  Goodness Jessie, he's getting so big!" Jane says holding the sides of her belly.

"He's getting very big!  He's a big boy!" She giggles.

"He takes after his daddy, huh?"

"Hah!  Definitely!" Jessica nods.

"I can't believe you only have a few more weeks to go!"

"I know!  He'll be here before we know it!"

"I can't wait to meet him!"

Jessica smiles, then gets an idea.

"Hey, Jane!  Would you like to come to my doctors appointment with my mom and I tomorrow morning

"I'd love to!"

"Great!  He's gonna check me to see if I've dilated at all, but after all that, I'm gonna have a 3D ultrasound done."

"Yay!  Oh, I'm so excited!"

"Me too!  They didn't have that when I was pregnant with the boys!  Plus, they say that you can tell what the baby will look like when he's born!  Isn't that cute?!"

"Awe!  That is cute!!"

The next morning Jessica, her mom and mother in law wait in the waiting area for Jessica to be called back.

"You okay, Jess?  You look tired."

"I am.  Grayson was up all night, and I didn't get much sleep."

"Awe, poor thing!" Jane rubs her arm.

"I thought of just sleeping in the bathroom, to save myself from standing up and having to walk back and forth."

"Heh!  My poor baby!" Dorothy wraps her arm around her.

"Mrs. Shepard."

"Oop, that's me!" She smiles and presses her palms into the arms of the chair to help lift herself up.

Jane and Dorothy both give her a little push.

"Haha, thanks, you guys!"

Jessica lays back in the stirrups and her doctor checks her.

"No dilation yet, but it's okay, it's still early."

"Okay."

"Have you had any contractions?"

"Yes!  I've been having a lot more lately."

"Okay, make sure to time them if they start becoming stronger and coming closer together."

"I will."

Oh and now that you've checked me, can you call my mom and mother in law in, please?  I want them to see the baby!"

"Of course!  I'll be right back."

Dorothy and Jane come to the back, and the doctor measures the baby.

Jessica lifts her shirt and she presses into her belly, feeling the baby.

"He is so low down!"

"I know!"

"You're poor bladder!"

"Yeah!" Jessica laughs.

The doctor gets her tape measure out and measures her belly.

"Ooh, he's a big boy!

With the way he's feeling, I'm gonna say nine pounds!"

"Ouch!" Jessica squints.

"He's like his daddy!" Dorothy tears up.

"He is!  My Sammy was a big boy!" Jane chuckles and wipes her tears.

"Awe!  You ladies ready to see baby boy?"

"Yes!"

She squirts gel on Jessica's belly and searches for his little face.

"Is that his foot?!  Look at his cute little toesies!!" Jessica says in a baby voice.

"Awe!!  I just wanna eat them!" Dorothy's voice goes high, and Jessica laughs.

They see his face and Jessica breaks.

"Oh my gosh!" She covers her mouth.

"Look at him, he's smiling!" Dorothy smiles at the screen.

Jessica could tell already that seeing her last baby boy was going to be extremely hard on her.

She couldn't wait to see him, but no matter what, it's still hard.  Sam was gone, and this was the last little person he and Jessica both created.  She didn't know how to prepare herself.

"He looks so happy, Jess." Jane says with a tearful voice.

"He does.. My baby boy! 

He's a happy baby." She smiles softly.

"... He has his daddy's smile.." Jessica's voice trails off.
