"Merry Christmas, baby!"

"Merry Christmas to you too, my beautiful wife." Danny smiles and pulls her close for a passionate kiss.

"Mmm.." Jessica moans into his lips.

Danny breaks away and Jessica giggles.
"Well good morning!"

"It's our first Christmas as a family.. As husband and wife.. I have to start it off with a bang, right?"

"Well that kiss was definitely-"

"I'm not talking about the kiss." He smirks and looks down.

Jessica brings her eyes to his morning bulge and giggles.

"Oh!"

"Get over here, little missy!"

"Ahh!" Jessica giggles controllably.

That evening everyone came over for Christmas dinner.

"Mom, you look so great!"

"Thank you!  I'm feeling a lot better.  I'd love to try and watch Grayson for a few hours soon."

"You've got it!" Jessica smiles and kisses her cheek.

"Gray, you'd like that, wouldn't you?  You'd like spending time with grandma D, huh?"

"Yes!  I miss you!" Grayson lifts his arms in the air and jumps up and down.

"Awe I miss you more!  Let grandma sit down and you can sit with me, okay?"

"Okay, gamma!" He smiles and follows her.

December 28th.

"Mom, if you need us to come back at anytime, just call, okay?"

"I'll be fine! I have your father here."

"Okay. Have fun, baby. Be good for grandma and grandpa, please."

"Okay!" He nods and smiles.

Jessica chuckles and kisses his cheek.

She was worried because she planned on only leaving Grayson for a few hours, but Danny wanted to take her out and spend the night in a hotel. Dorothy wanted to watch Grayson over night like she used to, and with lots and lots of convincing, Jessica agreed.

"Samuel, I trust you and James with your younger brother's.  Please do not be stupid!  Don't do anything you-"

"Wouldn't want your father, Danny or I.  Yes ma'am, I know.  We'll be good."

"Okay.  Call me if you need anything, and try not to get arrested."

"That was one time!"

"Still!  I love you, have fun."

"I love you too.  Bye."

First they went out to dinner, and Danny noticed Jessica kept checking her phone.

"What's up?"

"I'm sorry, honey.  I just keep checking in case my parents or the boys call. I'm so worried about them all being out.  I know they're all grown, but I'm a worrier and those are my babies." Jessica pouts.

"I know, sweetheart.  They'll be okay.  Let's just enjoy some alone time."

"Okay." Jessica smiles softly.

"Let's order some drinks... Waiter!"

"Okay, I have a question!" Jessica giggles.

"Shoot!"

"The first time you saw me naked, what did you do?" She slurs.

"Why do you ask that?" Danny laughs.

"Well I wanna know! I mean, I've had four kids!"

"That's exactly what I was thinking."

"You were grossed out, weren't you? Danny, I'm sorry!"

"No! Not at all! I was thinking, Wow! This woman has had four kids! One pregnancy was with twins?!"

"Shut up, you were not!" She laughs.

"I'm serious! Drop dead gorgeous and a body to match."

"Awe.. Thank you, honey." Jessica smiles.

"What were you thinking when you first saw me naked?"

"Hot damn!" Jessica giggles and takes a sip of her drink.

Danny chuckles and looks lovingly at his beautiful wife.

The next morning Jessica and Danny woke up with pounding headaches and tangled in sheets.

"Oh gosh.. Why did we drink so much?" Jessica says shielding her eyes from the light coming in through the window.

"I don't know, but I just want to crawl in a hole and cry."

"Well we have to go pick Grayson up, so let's get up."

"Okay.. Okay.. I'm trying."

Jessica chuckles and taps his chest.
"Okay, we can do this.. One.. Two...."

"Jess?"

"Hm?"

"Where's three?"

"Three what?"

"I don't know."

...

"Danny?"

"Yeah?"

"We have to get up."

"Okay.. On the count of three... One..."

"Danny?"

"What?"

"We have to get up."

"Yeah, I'm trying.. Just give me... *yawns* give me some.. Five more minutes, mom...."  *Snores*

Once Jessica and Danny stopped going in circles, they finally found the energy to get up and get ready to pick Grayson up from Jessica's parents house.

"Mommy!"

"Hi my baby! Were you a good boy?"

"Yes! I play with gamma and I have a race with gampa!"

"A race?! How fun!"

"Yeah!"

Dorothy giggles and says, "He is just precious! I miss watching my boy."

"Well he's definitely missed you too. Are you sure he wasn't too much of a handful?"

"Not at all! We had a lot of fun."

"Well good, I'm glad!"

New Year's Eve.

"Dada look at my gasses and my hat!" Grayson smiles.

"Oh buddy!  You are just so ready for the new year, aren't you?"

"Yeah!"

"It's gonna be a good one.. I know it will be." He smiles.

"Three.. Two.. One!  Happy New Year!" They all shout.
Jessica kisses Danny's lips and James kisses Caroline.

"Oh give me a kiss! *Holds arms out* Oh look, I have no one!" Sam says looking around.

"I give you a kiss, Sam!" Grayson looks up to his brother.

"Thanks, Gray." Sam chuckles and picks him up.

"Awe, that's so sweet!  Now mama's turn!" Jessica kisses Sam's cheek, then grabs Grayson and kisses him.

"I love my boys!  This year has certainly been a roller coaster, but there definitely has been really really great times as well.  This year we became a family.. Who knows what this year will bring.... What ever it may bring, I know we can tackle it together... As a family."

"As Ohana." Zachary smiles.

"That's right, my boy." Jessica smiles and hugs him tightly.

Valentine's Day.

"Happy Valentine's Day, my love." Jessica smiles.

"Happy Valentine's Day to you too!"

"I know we both have to work, but do you have anything in mind you might want for dinner?"

"I know what I want for dessert." Danny smirks.

"And what might that be, Mr. Huston?"

"A chocolate covered Jessica Phyllis Lange Shepard Huston."

"Haha! That's a mouth full, isn't it?"

"That's what you'll be saying later." Danny moves his eyebrows up and down.

"What?"

"Just think about it."

"What.. Oh! Daniel!!" Jessica laughs and playfully hits him.

"Look at my handsome little man! Are you mama's Valentine?"

"Yes!" Grayson nods and Jessica smiles.

"Mama?"

"What baby?"

"What's a Valentine?"

*Giggles* "Do you love mommy?"

"Yeah!"

"And does mommy love you?"

"Yeah she does!" His smile grows.

"That's right, baby! 
So since we both love each other, that means you're my Valentine and I'm yours!"

"Yay!"

"Yeah! *laughs* Can I have a kiss?"

"Yeah!" He nods and gives his mother a kiss.

Early afternoon came and Jessica was overwhelmed with work.

"Excuse me, could I have a moment of your time, Mrs. Huston?"

Jessica looks up and sees Danny.

"Daniel! What are you doing here, babe?!"

"Since we won't have an empty house tonight, I thought we could break away for a private lunch."

"Awe!  I'd love to, Danny!  Just give me like five minutes and I'm all yours."

"All mine?  Boy do I love the sound of that!"

Jessica laughs and finishes up what she was doing.

"Mmm!  Lunch was amazing baby, thank you so much for surprising me." Jessica smiles.

"You're welcome!  I love spending time with you, so any little chance I get, I'm gonna take it."

"Awe!  Look at you being all cute!" Jessica smiles.

"Well that's what I do best." Danny smiles making her blush and giggle.

After work Jessica went over to her parents house to pick Grayson up.

"Hey cutie pie!  Did you have a good day?"

"Yes!  I made a valentine for you!  My Valentine!" He smiles sweetly.

"Awe!  Thank you so much!" Jessica hugs him.

"Look at this!  Oh my goodness, you did so amazing, baby.  I absolutely love it!"

"Yay!  I made it all by myself!" He says poking his chest with his finger.

"I'm so proud of you!"

Grayson giggles and Jessica stands up and walks over to the couch to talk with her parents for a while.

"Jessie, I've been wanting to ask you, but I didn't want to seem like I was trying to get in your business."

"What's up?"

"Are you and Danny still wanting to have a baby?"

"Yeah.. Yeah, of course we still want a baby.  We just.. Well, we want to take a break from trying.. For a little while at least. Not necessarily preventing it, but I'm not gonna put Danny on a sex schedule." Jessica laughs.

"Oh! Okay, I was just wondering. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah.. We've just had a hard time getting pregnant.  It's putting a lot of stress on me and that's not good for me if I'm trying to get pregnant.  Plus, I don't want to go into too much detail, but we were having sex every single day, multiple times a day!  That's not good for Danny's sperm count.. and it exhausts me!"

"I bet." Dorothy blushes.

"Sorry if I'm sharing too much!" Jessica laughs.

"No!  No, you're fine."

"It's just not good to try.. I don't think it is at least.  If we just go back to doing it.. For fun." Jessica voice becomes awkward.

"Then maybe it'll just happen.  I don't know."

"I'm sure that's true.
.. Well... Good luck." Dorothy smiles.

"Thanks." Jessica chuckles.

March 16th.

"Happy nine month anniversary, baby girl."

"Thanks, my love." Jessica smiles.

"How should we celebrate tonight?"

"Ooh, well I can think of many different ways." Jessica giggles.

"Oh can you?  Please share!" He smiles.

"Well to start we can-"

"Mommy, my butt needs to be changed."
Jessica closed her eyes, laughed and laid her head back before looking down and placing her forehead on Danny.

"Mamaaa! Help meee!" Grayson whines.

"I'm coming, baby."

Jessica turns to Danny and says, "You married a mom with a toddler.. Little sexy moments will be hard to find."

"It's okay. I like a challenge." Danny smiles and tickles his fingers on her stomach.

That night Jessica laid in bed with Danny. She circled her fingers on his bare chest and laid her cheek on him.

"Baby, are you okay? I feel like you have a lot on your mind."

"I'm fine." Jessica looks up and smiles softly.

Danny kisses her forehead and says, "I want so badly to believe you."

Jessica inhales and lays back down on him.

"Tell me what's bothering you."

"It's nothing. I just think too much."

"About what?"

"Nothing."

"Jessie."

*Sighs* "About having a baby, okay! I was okay, but it's our nine month anniversary, which means it's nine months since we first started trying for a baby. I should be nine months pregnant.. Our little baby should be here."

"Jessie, you can't think like that. We didn't get pregnant because it was not our time. When it's our time, we'll have a little baby of our own."

"I know.. I know." Jessica fights her tears, but one escapes and falls onto Danny's chest.

I want to try and rush the next few chapters so that we can really get into what I'm planning. I don't want this to be like Two Fools in Love and I have to make a whole separate book to continue lol.
