One week later.

Jessica is doing better and everyone is starting to get back on schedule. Today is Zachary's 16th birthday and Danny is taking him to get his license.

Jessica woke up to make him breakfast just like she does for her own boys on their birthday's.

"Happy sixteenth birthday, Zach!" Jessica gives him a hug.

"Thanks Jessie!"

"I made you some breakfast!"

"Awe you didn't have to do that!"

"Yes I did! It's your birthday!" Jessica says in a cute way.

"Is she not just the cutest!" Danny points to her and hugs her tight.

"I mean look at her in her little apron!"

Jessica giggles and pats Danny's chest.

"Sit down and eat some breakfast, honey."

He kisses her lips and she takes her apron off and sits beside Grayson and Danny.

"So today's the big day, huh?" Jessica smiles at Zachary.

"Yes! I'm so excited! Now all I need is to save my money and buy myself a car!"

"Well you haven't past yet!"

"Michael!" Jessica gives him a look.

"No Jessie, that's true. Just do your best son, and you'll get it no doubt!"

"Thanks dad." Zachary smiles.

A few hours later.

"I GOT MY LICENSE!!" Zachary yells running into the house.

"AH! Congratulations, Zach!" Jessica says.

"That's so exciting, isn't that exciting, Mikey?"

"Yeah!
That's awesome.." Michael fakes a smile.

"Here you go." Danny tosses him his car keys.

"What?"

"Don't you remember?  You get my car on your sixteenth birthday "

"No way!  Are you serious?!"

"Yep!"

"Ahhh!  Dad, I love you!!" Zachary runs to Danny and jumps on him.  He was so excited he even kissed him on his cheek.

Danny laughed and Zachary got down and kissed the keys.

"Thank you too, Jessie!" He runs over and kisses Jessica on the cheek.

"Awe you're sweet!" Jessica giggles.

Monday.

Jessica and Danny were at work, Grayson was at his grandmother's and the boys were at school.

Jessica got a phone call from Michael's school.

"Hello!"

"Hello, Ms. Shepard.  This is Michael's school.

Your son was in a fight today."

"He what?" Jessica raises her eyebrows.

"He was in a fight, will you please come by the office to pick him up and we can discuss the situation."

"Um okay.  I'll be right there."

Jessica went to George's office and explained everything.

"Michael?!" His eyes widen.

"Yeah." Jessica sighs.

"Ha!  Heh!  That's funny." He chuckles.

"George, no it's not!  Now I have to go down there so they can tell me that my son was being an ass."

"Heh!  Have fun!"

Jessica drove to the school and quickly got out.  She didn't call Danny because she wanted to get the full story first.

When she walked into the school she was surprised to see Danny there.

"They called you?" She asks.

"They called you?"

"Well yeah!" She gives him an attitude.

"Oh!  That's strange."

Jessica gives him a look and walks into the school office. 

"Hello Ms. Shepard, Dr. Huston.  Right this way."

Jessica sighs and they follow the woman.

When they get to the back Jessica and Danny are both shocked to see both of their boys sitting there.

"What the hell did you do?!" They both say in unison.

"Um.." The woman looks at them.

"I thought I was in here because Zachary had a fight with some boy." Danny says.

"I thought I was in here because Michael had a fight with some boy!  I didn't know it was Zach!"

"Ms. Earls, could Jessica and I just take care of this at home please?"

"Oh!  You live together?" Her eyes widen.

"Yes." He nods.

"Okay, then no problem!  Um, unfortunately both boys are suspended for one week."

Jessica looks down at Michael and hits his arm, then looks back at the woman.

"Okay, thank you.  We will make sure this does not happen again." Danny says as Jessica gets Michael by the arm and drags him out.

"Mom stop it!"

"No!  Don't. Talk.  Let's just go!"

The car ride was silent, when they got to the house Danny started asking questions.

"What is this all about?  How did it start?"

"Danny and I were at work and you two are at school starting fights!  What the hell?!"

"Jessica, calm down.  Let's hear them out."

Jessica sighs and looks at the boys.

"What happened?"

"Well we were in class and everyone was talking to me about my car, because they saw my post about it on Instagram."

"I hate Instagram."

"Jessica.. Let him finish." Danny looks up to her as she stands beside the couch with her arms crossed.

She rolls her eyes and Zachary continues.

"Then suddenly out of nowhere Michael starts hitting me."

"No!  That's not what happened at all!" Michael raises his voice.

"You'll have your turn!" Jessica says.

"Can I take my turn, coach?" Michael asks Danny.

"Go ahead." Danny says and Jessica rolls her eyes again.

"You got a problem with your eyes today, Jess?"

"Fuck off!" She says not even giving him a look.

"Yes everyone was talking about his new car, but it was only because he was flinging the keys around, and telling all these girls that he could take them all kinds of places!  I didn't say anything until I heard my name."

"I didn't!"

"Let him finish, Zachary." Danny calmly says.

"He was telling everyone how bad I am at driving, and how I didn't get a car for my birthday.  Then everyone started laughing, so Zach kept going.

I had finally has enough and I shoved him a little."

"A little?!" Zachary raises his voice and Danny holds his hand up for him to stop talking.

"Before I knew it, we were in a legit fight and the principal came over, grabbed us both and took us to the office."

"Well.." Jessica scoffs.

Danny sighs and says, "You boys stay away from each other and go up to your rooms so Jessica and I can discuss this."

"Yes sir." They both answer.

They wait till they hear the door close and Danny says, "What do you think?"

"The obvious!  Zachary bullied my son!"

"What?!  Michael hit my son!"

"No. No!  Zachary didn't have to embarrass him like that."

"Yeah but Michael didn't have to hit him, Jess!  Jesus, how is hitting okay?"

"I'm not saying it is, but I don't see how what Zachary did was any better."

"Listen Jess, and the end of the day they were both wrong and should both be punished."

"No!  I'm not gonna punish Michael for not knowing how to drive!"

"Jessica, would you listen to me?  That's not what I'm saying!"

"Don't raise your voice to me, Daniel!"

"You're raising yours!"

"I'm allowed!  You're not!"

"What am I bullying you now?  Are you gonna hit me?"

"Ugh God!" Jessica says loudly and rolls her eyes.

"Zach was the one in the wrong."

"I disagree with you.  I think it was Michael that was in the wrong."

"You just said it was both of them."

"I know that, but if you're gonna pick one person, then get it right!"

"You're so mean, Daniel!"

"I'm not being mean.  You know I love Miley, but in this case he was wrong."

"You know I love Zachary with all my heart, but in this case HE was in the wrong!!"

"Jessica."

"No."

"Jessica."

"NO!"

Danny closes his eyes and sighs.

"Can we not act three, please?" He asks.

"Ah!" Jessica's jaw drops and she marches upstairs.

Danny follows her and Jessica pushes him back.

"Get away from me you son of a bitch!"

"Would you just stop?  Let's just talk like two grown adults."

"No Daniel!  I'm tired of-"

"Wait!  What is that?"

"What are you talking about?" Jessica makes a face.

"Shh!" He walks over to the game room and quietly opens the door.

Michael and Zachary were laughing and playing video games like nothing had ever happened between them.

"Heh!  Well will you look at that?  They're over it already."

Jessica looks at Danny and nods her head.  She lets out a small chuckle and Danny places his hand on her back.

"Oh get off me!" She hits his arm and marches off to her room.

"Oh lord, help me with this one." Danny mumbles and looks up to the ceiling.

"I HEARD THAT!"

"WELL GOOOOOOD!!"

The boys hear them and walk out of the game room.

"Ma?  Coach?  Are you guys fighting?"

"Do we need to have a talk with you?" Zachary asks.

"Oh quiet, you two!"

"Where are you going?" Michael asks.

"To work so I can rest!"
