October.

Jessica, Danny and Grayson were at a Halloween store shopping for costumes.

"Look Grayson, you can be a cowboy!" Jessica smiles holding up a little cowboy costume.

"No!" He nods.

"You don't like it?"

He nods again.

"Gray, you wanna be a football player, don't you?" Danny smiles.

"No."

"A basketball player like your big brothers?"

"Nuh-UH!"

"Well what do you wanna be?" Jessica asks.

"No."

"No? *Laughs* Okay then."

Jessica looks at all the different costumes in Grayson's size and comes across newborn costumes.

She pauses and just stares at them for a while.

"Did you find one, Jess?"

"Hm? Oh! No.." She puts the small costume away and looks down.

"You okay?"

"Yeah.. I'm okay." She smiles softly.

...

"Grayson, you wanna be a bear?"

"Bear?!" His eyes light up.

"Yeah! You like that one?" Jessica chuckles.

"Yeah!" He smiles and grabs the costume.

"I think he likes it!" Danny says.

"Yep! You're gonna be such a cute little bear, baby!" Jessica kisses his head.

In line there was a costume thrown on the counter.

Jessica picks it up and smiles.

It was a newborn size princess dress.

"Danny, look at this."

"Awe that's so adorable!" He smiles.

"For little princess!" She says in a cute voice.

Danny chuckles and Jessica sighs still looking at the costume.

"Next!" The cashier shouts.

Grayson shakes Danny's arm and points to the woman.

"Oh!  Thanks, bud!" He laughs, pats Grayson on the head and walks towards the cashier.

"Hey baby, you coming?" He turns around and sees Jessica still staring at the small costume.

"Hm?"

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing." She nods and sits the costume down.

A week later.

Jessica is out to lunch with Sarah.

"Is everything okay?  You seem like there's something bothering you." Sarah says.

Jessica inhales deeply, then says, "Sarah.. I.. I want another baby."

"You do?" Sarah smiles.

"I do!  I know I said I was done, but losing our baby.. It was hard.. Very hard.  But it showed me that I do want to have Danny's baby. She says covering her mouth and her eyes filling with tears.

"Awe Jess!"

"And the other day Danny, Gray and I were shopping for his Halloween costume and I saw this little princess dress for a newborn!"

"How cute!"

"Yeah and.. Ugh!  I really really want one!  Grayson would be such a good big brother!  And he needs a little friend, don't you think?"

"Definitely!"

"I need to talk to Daniel.. I'm just scared..
I don't want to lose another baby."

"The doctor said this more than likely will not happen again, remember?"

"Well what if I can't get pregnant?  What if I can't carry another baby because of my surgery and that's why we lost her."

"Jess, you shouldn't think like that.  I'm sure you're fine! 
... Did you say her?  I thought you didn't know the gender."

"We didn't, I just had a feeling it was a girl.."

"Oh.."

"I don't know what to do." She sighs.

"Well there's no harm in just trying!  Talk to Danny and see how he feels."

"Yeah.. Okay, I will.  Thank you, Sarah."

"No problem, sweetie." She smiles.

That evening.

"Thank you for dinner tonight, baby.  I loved it." Danny says tangling his hand with her's, and kissing her head.

"You're welcome!  I'm glad you enjoyed it."

"So how was lunch with Sarah?"

"Great!  How was work?"

"Ah the same.. Brush more. Floss more. Yada yada yada."

Jessica chuckles quietly. 

"You okay?  You seem like somethings bothering you."

"Hm?  Oh no..
Uh.. Can I talk to you, honey?" She says sitting up.

"Sure, baby." He sits up and listens.

Jessica sighs and rubs her head.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine.
I just.. Danny." She looks into his eyes and pauses

"Yeah?"

"I want a baby."

"You want a baby?"

"Yeah.." She speaks quietly and nods her head.

Danny takes a deep breath and says, "Jess, I don't know."

"What?"

"We just lost a baby, are you sure that's something you want?"

"Yeah.  I really do, Danny."

Danny looks to the side and Jessica says, "Do you not want one?"

He opens his mouth but nothing comes out."

"I.. No, Jess."

"No?"

Hearing that really hurt Jessica.

"But I thought you wanted a baby."

"I did, but..
I changed my mind."

"You changed your mind?"

"Yeah.  I'm happy with our boys, aren't you?"

"You don't feel like a part of us is missing?"

"Other than the baby we lost.. No."

"Okay.
Well that's okay.." She looks down.

"Are you okay?"

Jessica looks at him and nods her head yes.

"You know what I was thinking, baby?"

"What?"

"We should name our baby we lost.
That way we feel more connected to him or her."

"Name the baby?"

"Yeah, wouldn't that be nice?"

"Yeah.. Yeah, I'd like that." She smiles softly.

"Mommy I have dance class in five minutes!" Jessica heard a little voice from behind her.

She turns around giggles, "Felicity baby, we still have thirty minutes till we leave!"

"Well where's daddy and Grayson?  We have leave!"

"Come here, baby."

Felicity walked over and Jessica fixed her bow and little pink glasses.

"Daddy and Grayson are at t-ball practice, they're meeting us at the studio."

"Oh that's right!"

Jessica chuckles and says, "You are so cute, do you know that?"

"Yes I do, mommy!  Do you know why?"

"Why is that, Lissie?"

"Because daddy tells my that I look just like you with brown hair, mommy!"

"Awe really?!  Well isn't daddy sweet?"

"He is, mommy!"

Jessica giggles and scoops her up onto her lap and holds her close.

"You're getting to be such a big girl, aren't you?"

"That's because I'm four, silly!" Felicity giggles.

"Oh that's right!" Jessica laughs.

"I'm probably like you because we have the same birthday month! Remember I came two weeks late and daddy said he got me out!"

"I do remember that!" Jessica smiles.

"Mommy?"

"Yes baby?"

"How did daddy get me out?"

"Oh baby, that's not important!" Jessica laughs nervously and fixes Felicity's bangs.

"Mommy?"

"Hm?"

"Can we leave now?"

"Sure." Jessica chuckles and hugs her tightly.

"Look baby, daddy and brother are here!" Jessica smiles.

"Daddy and brother! Daddy and brother!" She runs to them and hugs them both.

"Ew Grayson, you're smelly!" Felicity scrunches her nose and backs away.

Grayson chuckles at his little sister's comment and brushes it off.

"How'd you do, Grayson?" Jessica smiles and puts her arm around him.

"I did great, mommy!"

"Of course you did! Are you ready for the big game next Saturday?"

"Yes! I bet I'm playing even better because I'm six now!"

"Probably so, baby!" Jessica laughs.

"Hey baby." She smiles and kisses Danny's lips.

"Mommy, daddy said after Felicity gets out of dance class we can get some ice cream!"

"Oh yum! Sounds good to me!"

"Yeah!"

Jessica giggles and says, "Hey baby, James and Caroline will be able to make it to dinner tonight after all, and they're bringing the baby!" Jessica smiles and jumps up and down with excitement.

"Oh great! Now all our kids will be there!"

"Yeah!!"

That evening Danny cooked a huge dinner for everyone.

James brought Caroline and his newborn baby girl, Samuel brought his fiancé, and Zachary and Michael both came alone.

"Is my niece here yet?!" Felicity jumps up and down.

"Your niece? *Giggles* That sounds funny coming from a four year old!"

Jessica picks her up.

"Yes sweetie, your niece will be here soon." She kisses her cheek.

"Yay! And Sammy will be here too?!" Her eyes light up.

"Yes! And he's bringing Tiffany!"

"YAAAAYYYY!!"

"You are just so excited aren't you?" Jessica smiles and Felicity kicks her legs.

"Yes I am, mommy!"

"Oh come here! Look at my beautiful little grand baby!" Jessica takes her from James.

"Oh Serenity, grandma loves you so much!"

Danny walks over and Jessica smiles, "Look Reny, it's grandpa!"

"How's my little butterfly? Huh? How's grandpa's little butterfly?" He baby talks.

"Hey daddy, look at me!" Felicity waves her hands in the air.

"What princess?" Danny smiles.

"I'm your baby girl, remember?" She smiles cutely.

"Of course I do!" He lifts her up and kisses her cheek.

"You're my baby girl and Serenity is my grand baby girl."

"Yeah.." She looks down and smiles.

"Daddy." She looks at him and places her little hands on Danny's big strong shoulders.

"What princess?"

"I love you." She smiles.

"Awe I love you too!!"

"Mommy, it's getting late. I have to go potty before I leave." Felicity crosses her legs and dances a little.

"Where are you going?"

"No time to talk, I have to go potty!"
She grabs her hand and pulls Jessica to the bathroom.

"Okay!" She giggles.

Once she gets out Felicity grabs her little pink bag and hugs Jessica.

"Where do you think you're going, Lissie?"

"Back with Uncle Sam, remember?" She giggles as she says her favorite saying Remember?

"Uncle Sam? What are you talking about?" Jessica sits down on her knees and Felicity grabs her hands.

"Mommy, I don't live with you, remember? I live with Uncle Sam."

"Where does Uncle Sam live?"

"Up there! Don't you remember, mommy?!" She laughs.

"But baby, why don't you stay with mommy?"

"Because I can't. I'm always in your heart mommy, but I have to go back home." Felicity pokes her little finger on Jessica's chest.

Jessica's eyes water and Felicity holds her cheeks.

"Don't cry, mommy. Uncle Sam is so nice to me. I love him!"

"I'm glad you do, but why can't you stay with mommy, daddy and your brother's?"

"Because it's not my home. I can always visit, but I can't stay." She nods.

"But baby-"

Felicity smiles and gives Jessica a tight hug.

"I love you, mommy. I love you so much.. and so does Uncle Sam!" She giggles.

"Will you visit me again, pretty girl?"

"Mhm." She nods.

"You promise?"

"I promise!"

"Okay.. I love you baby.. I love you so so much, my gorgeous gorgeous girl." Jessica cries.

"I love you more."

"That's not possible.." Jessica kisses her hands and hugs her again.

The doorbell rang and Felicity ran over to the door.

"That's him! It's Uncle Sam!"

"Felicity Grace!" Jessica tries grabbing her but she was too fast.

Jessica stood up to open the door and saw Sam.

Tears fell down her face and she hugged him tight.

"Why can't you both stay with me?"

"Because our place isn't here. When you reach absolute perfection God decides that your time here on earth is finished. We can't help that we're that perfect, right Lissie?" Sam smiles.

"That's right, Uncle Sam!" She gives him a thumbs up.

"Heh! Let's go, kiddo."

"Wait!" Jessica stops say from taking her.

"Felicity, I love you.. Oh god, I love you! I'm sorry I couldn't keep you safe.. I am so sorry, baby."

"Mommy it wasn't your fault!"

"She's right, Jess."

Jessica looks up and Sam, then back at Felicity.

"Yep!" She smiles.

Jessica picks her up and looks at Sam.

"Take care of my little girl."

"I always have." He smiles softly.

Jessica places her palm on his cheek and kisses his lips, making Felicity laugh.

"Oh my gosh! What is happening?!" She says with her adorable little giggle.

Jessica chuckles and gives her one last hug and kiss.

"Bye bye, Lissie."

"Bye bye, mommy." She shuts her eyes and hugs her tight.

She stands her up and Felicity takes Sam's hand.

"It'll be okay, baby girl." Sam softly caresses her cheek.

Jessica nods and he says, "Goodbye, Jess."

"Goodbye, Sam." She says in a whisper.

The door shuts and Jessica wakes up from her dream.

She gasps and jumps up.

"Oh my gosh.. Oh my gosh.." She grabs her chest and breathes heavy.

Jessica starts bawling waking Danny up.

"Baby, what's wrong? Are you okay?!" Danny touches her back.

Jessica nods her head No and cries hard.

"What happened?"

"I have the most vivid dreams ever, Daniel..."

"What did you dream about?"

"Our baby.. Danny, she was the most beautiful little girl ever!" She looks at him with tears pouring down her face.

"Awe baby." He holds her in his arms.

"Her name was Felicity Grace. Isn't that a beautiful name?"

"It is.."

Jessica tells him her dream in perfect detail, leaving Danny in tears.

"Wow.. That's amazing, Jess.
Our little girl came to see you."

"Yeah.. Danny, she was gorgeous! She was the cutest little girl ever! Why couldn't we keep her?" She says in a tearful voice, laying on his chest as he holds her in is arms.

The glasses are a bit wonky, but that was the best I could do! 😁 Plus the picture was perfect I wanted to make it work no matter what.  So just squint and it's fine, lol!
