...Tiara's POV....
Please dont propose. Please dont propose. Was all I was chanting.

"We can't carry this on." He replied.

"We can't carry what Adam?" I asked

"All this, I thought I could come out of it but I guess I am stuck for life." He exclaimed making gestures with his hand.

"To be honest, I am not getting a word, Adam." I said irritated now .

"You know you resemble someone really close to me in my life." Deep shit
"And it is..??" I asked actually curious.

"My girlfriend." I choked on my food. who on earth tells a girl whom you are trying to qoute that she resembles your girl friend.
"What?" I asked him in utter confusion.

"Yeah 2 years back I had a girlfriend, Rachael. She wasn't from our school. I met her at a party and then we kept on meeting and I finally asked her out to which she agreed." He said with a smile that did not leave his face.

"I loved her with all I had, hell I still do." He said

"Then what happened wrong?" Curiosity getting the best out of me.

"We broke up last year."

"So...,  what's the harm go get her back."

"I can't."

"Because....??"

"Because she is in coma."

The table fell silent after that we finished our meal and left the restaurant, Adam was now taking me on a beach I really did not get the reason but decided to go with the flow. I was still curious about Rachael so after we reached the beach and were strolling around I finally asked him.

"Adam"

"Hmm"

"What happened with Rachael.?"

His sadness was clear in his eyes.

"Answer only if you are comfortable." I said

I did not expect him to say so I just shut my big mouth up.

"It was after our break up, she thought I cheated on her so she broke up with me.and went away, while returning she met with an accident and still hasn't got up." He said after a while

"So did you cheat on her?" You weren't suppossed to say that. Shit.

"No. I wanted to explain it to her, I still do but as you can see I still haven't got the chance. Rachaels parents won't allow me even to see her. They think I am responsible for her condition, which in a way is true."

"No Adam, its not, trust me you are a great guy and any girl would be lucky to have you. Its just fate that is not in your hand. So stop blaming and killing yourself everyday." I tried to explain in him on our way back to car.

"You know you look a lot like her."

I genuinely smile.

On our way back home comfortable silence took over and I couldn't help but be in awe that Adam trusted me so much to disclose his secret with me.

Out of the blue I asked him,"In which hospital is Rachael in?

"Western Life line, why?"

"Naah, just."

We reached home and he dropped me till the porch, he hugged me for a little longer and then left.

After I entered the house Aid was in Living room.

"So, how was your date?." He asked.

"Good" I answered.

"Are you both dating?" He asked again.

"No" and with that simple answer I went back to my room maybe beacause I was still angry on him for the way he behaved today earlier.

After changing and completing my homework I recieved a text from Adam "you are a great friend and a good listener Tiara- Adamxx"
"Tell me something I don't know.(wink)-Tiaraxx" After that I slept.

NEXT MORNING..

I could smell something burning and as a reflex I got up suddenly causing a jerk in my neck. I rushed to see but after looking at the scene I wanted to laugh.

Adrain was in the kitchen,trying to cook or possibly trying to burn the house down. The whole kitchen was a mess and so was he. I clicked a snap of him.

"What on Earth are you trying to do Adrain, burn the house down?" I asked turning the gas nob off.

"I was trying to make you breakfast."

Aww so sweet. "Because?" I questioned.

"Because I know I was rude yesterday, and I wanted to say sorry."

"Ever heard of pronouncing the word 'SORRY' from your mouth."

I asked actually impressed.

He didnt answer.

"Go get changed I'll make breakfast till then." I said.

"So you forgive me.?" He asked still unsure.

"I would say I would have hugged you if you weren't a mess right now." After breakfast Aid left as he has a match tomorrow. I had school late so I took my time getting ready. School was long and boring. After school Aid and I were in the main street walking when we heard voices, we rushed there and saw chase shouting at a lady. I wanted to go there and I did initiate but Aid held my hand and pulled me to the back door of the house. "What the hell Aidey, you saw he was too rude. You could have let me stop him."

"You can't"

"No, he can't, he can't snap ant anybody he wants."

"But he can surely snap at the lady who cheated his dad and left her two sons." At that my mouth fell agap and my hand came to my mouth ina n expresssion of shock.

"Trust me Ara, Chase is a nice guy but the circumstances he has faced aren't."
