"Where are they?" I asked.

"I don't know. Just like I didn't know when you asked ten seconds ago." Jason replied, exasperated.

"Well it helps me to think. You don't have to answer my questions."

We were flying around on Festus, trying to spot Nico and Bianca. I had upgraded Festus's senses awhile ago to navigate me and Calypso back to camp half-blood. 

So now he was flying us toward Nico and Bianca. That, or... the closest entrance to the underworld, but I decided not to dwell on that now.

"There!" Frank pointed to a little clearing in the trees.

"Are you sure that's them? I see three people down there." Jason hesitated, a little uncertain.

"Festus thinks it's them. I'm going down." I landed Festus on the ground next to them.

I saw Nico and Bianca there with... another girl.

"Ahh." The girl jumped when she saw Festus. "Why is there a-" She stopped. "Helicopter?"

"Oh um who are you?" Frank asked.

Jason landed next to us. The girl jumped again. "Where'd you come from?"

"Uhh..." Jason said, as confused as us.

"Oh Nancy, these are our friends. We um got split up a while ago." Nico told the girl. Then he turned to us. "Guys this is Nancy, she's lost."

"H- hi." The girl stammered.

I turned to Nico. "Where's everyone else?"

He shrugged. "We got split up during the fight. I'm pretty sure Calypso's with Percy." He added when he saw my worried face.

"Okay..." I said. Cal with Percy? That was fine. Still... were they really safe? I pulled out something from my tool belt and started playing with it.

If something happened... back on her home island, Ogygia, Calypso was immortal. As soon as we had left, Cal had realized she didn't have any of her old powers anymore. I still couldn't help but feel kind of guilty. If it wasn't for me she would have been safe on her island. Not part of some death prophecy where there was a ninety-nine percent chance of her dying.

"Wait... you guys have more friends?" Nancy asked. "I saw some while walking through the woods. I think I know where they are. I can help you get back to them, if you help me out of here."

"Okay... sure." Nico hesitated a bit, as if he were wondering if this girl was playing at something. I couldn't help but feel the same way. There was something off about the girl.

"It's this way." Nancy pointed left of us.

As we walked through the bushes, I wondered what kind of trick this girl could be playing on us.

Hehe. What's Nancy really doing there?
