Nico
"Are you sure our friends went this way? I'm pretty sure I saw them head the other way." I asked, still unsure if we could trust this girl. She was a mortal, I knew that for sure, but she was acting weird.
"I saw them while I was walking through here." She replied. "They probably moved around since you last saw them."
"Okay..."
We walked in silence for awhile. Jason came up to me. "Are you sure she knows where she's going? She seems a little... off."
"I know, but we can't just leave her in the woods. She said she was lost."
He raised an eyebrow.
"What?"
" 'We can't just leave her in the woods.' This is coming from you." Then, dramatically, "Nico di Angelo, Son of Hades, has become the nice one that helps little girls lost in the woods."
"Shut up." I elbowed him.
We came to a rock wall. "It's a dead end." Leo complained. "Do you even know where you're going?"
Nancy Bobofit turned around, a smile spread on her face. "You guys are pathetic, really. Kronos was right. You trust way too easily."
"What?" I was confused.
"Stupid demigods." With that, she stepped aside as the ground beneath our feet opened.
We fell into the hole.
