I don't think anyone in history ever had a moment as awkward as I was in right now.
Annabeth kept giving Calypso death stares, Calypso kept looking in between me and Annabeth, and Leo kept staring between me and Calypso.
Pretty awkward moment for us now.
You guys don't get it? I'll start from the beginning. Well not from the beginning beginning, but as far back as necessary.
Two years ago, I landed on Calypso's island, her home and prison. She had kind of developed a crush on me those two weeks I stayed with her, and since she couldn't leave her island, she tried to get me to stay.
Eventually, I had to leave the island, and later told Annabeth about my stay on Ogygia. Then a few weeks ago I found out Leo had met Calypso and... y'know. Pretty easy to guess what happened from there.
Now, being here, with my girlfriend, the girl who formerly had a crush on me, and her boyfriend... well it was pretty awkward.

"So what's the 'news'?"
We were sitting in the big house again as we had done last night, except this time, we weren't getting a prophecy that would lead us to our deaths. More like news that would lead us to our deaths.
Of course, when did something not lead us to our deaths?
"Well," Leo started. "We found out Kronos-"
"Is alive?" Annabeth finished. "The dead that came out through the doors of death are not all caught yet? And Hades is probably already destroying the world looking for them? Yeah we know."
"You ruined my big reveal!" Leo whined. "And if you already knew, why'd I even have to come all the way here?"
"Because if you didn't come, I'd hunt you down and kill you a second time." Piper cut in.
Then, as if he just seemed to fully understand what Annabeth had said, "wait, what do you mean the dead are still out? They weren't all captured yet?" Leo asked with a trace of hope in his voice.
"Well, so far two campers that died a year ago came to camp. We still don't know who's out and who's not."
"Oh." Leo's hope died down. I could tell what he was thinking. His mother had died a few years ago. He no doubt was hoping to see her again, one last time.
I couldn't exactly relate to what he felt. Both my parents were still alive, and the people around me that had gotten killed I had made peace with. Leo never got that chance.
Suddenly, Nico appeared. "Guys," he gasped. "Bianca. Woods." Then, he fell to the floor. Shivering and coughing.
