Annabeth
Percy held me for a while, stroking my hair. I buried my face in his chest.
I finally stopped crying. "I'm fine, seaweed brain," I rolled my eyes, even though I was the one crying just now.
He looked at me closely. "You sure?"
"Yeah, it- it was just a nightmare."
But he didn't let go of me. We sat there, on his bed, I didn't wanna let go.
We must have sat there for awhile, and before I knew it, my eyes were closing, and I drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to a noise outside. It was about three in the morning. Percy was asleep.
I quietly got up and slipped out of his cabin. We weren't aloud to be in a cabin together like that, and if someone saw us, we'd be in trouble.
I looked around outside to see where the noise had come from. I heard it again, from the left of me, toward the Hephaestus cabin.
I ran towards the cabin. I saw the outline of a huge guy in the dark. "Hey!" I shouted, which might not have been my smartest move, but when the guy turned around, I stopped in shock. Now that I think back, I don't know why I was shocked. I was expecting it, wasn't I?
But I didn't expect it to happen so fast. And why him? Why not someone else? Was it just a coincidence the he came right after Silena?
Or were the fates just playing with us?
Okay, so this was more of a fill in chapter.
Idk why y'all don't like fill in chapters,
I love them, but that's just me. Anyway, Enjoy! :)
