(Idk why I just love writing in Annabeth's point of view. It's so much more fun than the rest of them.)
Annabeth
Nico was acting very weird. So was Hazel. But Nico was acting weird like he was hiding something.
I had a feeling that he knew something, but of course he wouldn't tell.
I would get him to tell later. Right now we were discussing the prophecy. If we had five days- no four because today was almost over- then we had to get started on this quest. Gods I hate it when there's a time limit for a quest.
"The seven half-bloods quest resumes." Percy was saying. "We know what that line means. The Titan king shall be consumed..."
"That's good, right?" Leo asked. "We want Kronos to be destroyed?"
"Yeah, but consumed? That could mean anything." Thalia said. "What about the next line? The hunter shall join the quest with death?" She shuddered at that thought. "And many once again face their final breaths.
"The hunter joins the quest with death? The hunter..." She lowered her voice, "dies?"
"It's probably not that." I cut in. "The next line says, Ten half-bloods journey through land. Ten half-bloods. Me, Percy, Jason, Leo, Piper, Hazel, Frank. That's seven. The hunter... how many half-bloods are in the hunters?"
"Just me." Thalia said.
"Okay... but death could mean children of Hades. Nico, maybe? And Bianca? That's ten half-bloods." The more I thought of it, the more sense it started to make.
"Okay... what if your right? Ten half-bloods. All of us here right now. Sky water earth and sand-"
"Wait, isn't earth and sand the same thing?" Leo cut Thalia in to ask the most stupid question ever. (Well fine maybe not the most stupid. Percy has said more stupid. But you get what I mean.)
"Yes, now listen." I said. "To find the lair of the Titan king, Before Chaos upon all he does bring. It could mean Chaos like the goddess. If that's true then we're in trouble. Big time."
"We're always in trouble." Leo muttered.
"Wait, the primordial goddess?" Thalia asked. "The cage that holds Chaos shall be destroyed. If what your saying is true..."
She didn't need to finish the thought. We all knew what would happen. We nearly died fighting Gaea. Chaos was a completely different story. But even then... Kronos couldn't be that bent on power to free Chaos, could he?
By one the world has let rejoin... I thought of the next few lines. The world has let rejoin? Someone that came through the doors of death? Unless the half-bloods can survive, with help of the Titans daughter stay alive, and death they shall avoid.
I guess we would be needing Calypso.
No matter how much I hated it.
I was supposed to update this two days ago but I was kind of busy so I had no time to finish writing...
Anyways hope you like it!
