Nao woke up pretty early as she looks over at Kaito, sleeping next to her. Although she was grateful that he was by his side, it still felt uneasy for her to accept that everything she had known had changed since she discovered the Eternal Flame. 

She touches the ruby necklace in deep thought, as to she was extremely worried about the Faiths chasing after them. 

"I have to make sure the Faiths wouldn't catch up to us. We have to go to Baia right away  to make sure that nobody would know that we are on the run. " 

"Oh, morning, Nao. " She heard Kaito said, as she notices that had woken up. 

"Oh, morning, Kaito. Did you sleep well?" She asks the teen as he nod to her, "Very well. You don't have to worry. C'mon, let's get ready for our travel to Baia." 

The two teens got their breakfast early and set their sights to the next town, Baia. As they were walking, Kaito notices of how worried his friend was . 

"Hey, are you feeling ok? I know what you're thinking. You're worried about the Faiths aren't you?" Kaito asks , which amazed the young girl. 

"Was it too obvious?" She asks, blushing with total embarrassment. 

"Nao, we are clearly out of reach from them. Besides, I believe that everything would be absolutely fine as long we don't stand out as much." Kaito reassured the teen. 

The teen smiled at the comforting words of the teen, as they continue their way through the courtyard, the two teens heard a scream. 

"What was that?" Kaito asks curiously, as both teens rushed over to see who was screaming. 

To their ultimate surprise , it was a girl who was being beaten. She was having bruises all over her by the village children. 

As to her ultimate anger of hurting her, Nao's mark reacted as to Kaito's surprise that unleashed a blast of red light, similar to when Nao's house was attacked by the Faiths. 

The children fled , as Kaito grabs the girl and the trio went back to the Poisoned Gate to treat her wounds. 

Kaito finished wrapping her bandages as she said, "You really don't have to do all of this." 

Kaito replied, "It's the least we can do, besides, you're the one who is injured. I'm Kaito by the way. And this is my friend , Nao." 

"I'm Ayame, but please , call me, Ay. " 

"Ay, so what brings you here?" Nao asks. 

"Well, I heard about the Eternal Flame . I wanted to see if it was real or not." 

Kaito and Nao looked at each other with a worried expression if she can be trusted, considering that they just met her, to see if she can live with the truth, Nao sighs, as touches the ruby necklace around her neck. 

"Yeah, we need to talk about that, Ay." She said, which made Kaito waved his hands in total shock, "Hold up a minute! You seriously going tell her, just like that?!?"

Nao said, "There' s no point of hiding it, Kaito. We may need her help if we need to get out of the Faiths's tracks off us." 

Ay asks, "Um, what you guys talking about?"

Meanwhile, in a country side road, Elias was walking all alone, and he was completely lost. He had no idea where he was going, despite of he has no idea where his sister and the person she was traveling with went. 

He put his hand in his hips, "Great. I'm completely lost. How in the heck that Nao manage to escape from the house like this?"

He still have the memory struck into his mind , like a photograph memory that he wouldn't forget . 

He was still shooken of the recent events that he was determined of why his only sister said to him before she left him, "I'm sorry, I can't be with you." 

The boy rubs his head like crazy as he thought in his mind, "Nao, you really have some explaining to do! 

Why would you do this to me, and to our father?"

As he was lost in his thoughts, he heard a voice say, "Do you need some help, boy?"

He turns to a mysterious figure who was looking directly at the boy's expression on his face. 

Back at the Poisoned Gate, Ay was completely in total shock as that Nao finished her explanation  of why she and Kaito was on the run. 

She asks, "Why does it have to be you? Why you were the chosen one to end the Three Kingdoms' War? " 

Kaito sighs, "Nao had no idea that she was chosen one to end the war or that the Eternal Flame had chosen her. 

It's not her fault. " Nao blushed , felt totally embarrassed by his comment. 

"I guess that you guys need help from escaping the Faiths. Can I travel with you guys? I know it's a lot to ask since we just met and I can be use of help. " 

Nao and Kaito looked at each other , then they smiled completely. They knew they needed the help, and what better than having another person joining the group. 

"Sure. You are welcome to join us, Ay. The more the merrier." Kaito said, which cause the girl to be extremely happy. 

"Thanks, so we're going to need some supplies and you need to learn how to fight, Nao. " Ay said. 

"Seriously?" Nao pouts as Kaito said, "She has a point, Nao. You may need to , considering that you have the Eternal Flame. " 

Nao sighs, "Fine. You guys win. So, where I start?"
