It has been 3 months since Nao has discovered the ruby necklace. It has been in her mind ever since she found it, and also maintain it as a secret from her family. 

It wasn't easy for her, considering that she and Elias had been very close and always been acting not just siblings, but also as the best of friends as well. 

Nao managed to take off the bandage wound in her hand, as to her surprise of what the wound looked like. 

The mark was like a shape of a dragon, a scaly one and it was nothing like she ever seen before. 

She was thinking in her mind, "What is this mean? What I suppose to do?" 

She walked out of the cottage to take her mind off what she was thinking about, as to she wasn't looking where she was going, she accidentally bumped into a boy she never met. 

"Ow." He said, as she realized of what she had done to him. She quickly got up to her feet, as to she bows her head in quick apology, "I'm so sorry! I didn't look where I was going!" 

The boy was silent for a slight moment, but then he actually begins to laugh at the situation. 

"No, it's all right. You don't have to apologize to me. " He said, as he helped her up and the two teens were silent as then the boy notices the mark on her hand. 

"It can't be. You?!? You can't be near your family, you have to leave this place. It's completely dangerous!" He warns her. 

"I don't know what you are talking about." Nao said. 

"Listen to me. You have the Eternal Flame." Nao rushes from the boy as that night, she couldn't think about the boy's warning. "What does he mean that it's dangerous?"

The moment she looked at the ruby, the mark on her hand suddenly react as a bright shining red light came out which had shocked the girl . 

"What is that light?" Elias said, to be awaken by the light, as Nao was shaken by the revealing red light. 

As to the very moment, a sound came from downstairs, as they appeared to be footprints coming up towards the siblings. 

Elias said, "Who are they? What they want from us?" 

Nao was not sure of what to do , as that she was frighten by the intruders that invade her home, that was when she looked out the window slightly, as to her stunned surprise , she notices the same boy she encounter earlier that day. 

He was staring right at her, as he was saying, "You can trust me. I'll catch you." 

The girl knew that she had to make a sacrifice . She turns to her older brother with a sad expression on her face as she said to Elias, "I'm so sorry, I can't be with you anymore." 

She jumps through the glass-through window head-on without any giving a second thought, as she landing into the boy's arms. 

"We have to run." He said, taking her hand , as they ran out of the home that she used to known since childhood. 

They managed to sneak into a moving carriage of hay towards a new town. The boy was treating Nao's cuts from the broken window pieces. 

"That was really brave of you. I never would've suspected you would jump out of a window like that. It really took me by surprise. " 

"Oh, you honestly think so? I guess it just came to my mind . By the way, who were those guys, and why they were after me?"

He replied , "That was a group called the Faiths. They were seeking the Eternal Flame and want it destroyed as they possibly can. They're ruthless and would harm anyone who is near it. I'm just glad they didn't harm you." 

"Oh." Nao said as to knowing who they were. She sat next to the boy, "Well, um, thanks for saving me back there. I wouldn't know what to do back there. " 

"Any time. I haven't fully introduce myself , haven't I? The name is Kaito. It's a pleasure to meet you." Kaito said. 

"Kaito. What a great name. I'm Nao. I guess that we're traveling together I guess." Nao said. 

The two was silent for a while but then Nao spoke up. "Hey, Kaito? I was wondering, when we met, why did you tell me it's dangerous? What is the Eternal Flame?"

"Well, the Entrnal Flame is actually a power that nobody ever seen before. It's proof that the War of the Three Kingdoms would come to an end. 

You have been chosen to end the War, Nao. The three Kingdoms, Lightness , Darkness and Judgement had this War for a long time now. You were destined for this . " Kaito explains. 

"You want me to end the War? Kaito, this is pure insane! I can't fight!" Nao exclaimed. 

"You have no choice. This has to be you, Nao. " Kaito said. 

In that moment, Nao was certained that her life was never going to be same ever again, thus her journey of saving humanity had begun.
