Shiro yoraks pov

I look around my dorm room, my boxes sat in a stack, my family had came and helped me get them in my room, the good byes were teary eyed but now I'm on my own. I look at the boxes and huff, i don't really want to unpack them now even if i knew i should be productive. So instead i went out and started looking around the campus, i cant believe I'm here, in this very building the paladins of voltron had worked in, had created their plans to save earth. It was spectacular to see, and i get to learn in that very building! Some day i may even go adventures like them, i know it may never be exactly like there's but i am gonna be an explorer pilot so why not hope.

I finally walk away from the building, it was hard to pull my feet that had been cemented into the ground in front of it away, and tearing my eyes from its marvelous shape felt like trying to pry your hand off of something when superglued...except on my eyes.

I marvel at the rest of the area, soon i am stopped when i see a fountain, in the center stood a metal statue of voltron, it's sword raised and shield covering it. My eyes being stuck on the giant man i don't notice a figure slamming into me...or me slamming into the figure.

Frantically i lift my head and see a boy with glasses and sandy hair. The moment our eyes met i felt like i was having a seizure, it felt like my whole body was in motion as sentences like

"Welcome to the garrison"

"I'll beat you next time old timer"

"If you go, i won't be here"

"I'll form the head"

"Would you marry me?"

Bounced around my head and images took form infront of my eyes. Soon i am met with a boy who's eyes are wide, I'm shiro....thats adam. does he recognize me?

"Please get off me."he says in a stern voice. I have been hovering over this boy for a few good minutes of course he thinks I'm weird.

"Oh sorry Adam i ju-"i start but am cut off as i get off of him.

"How do you know my name?!"the boy shouts the fear now more evident in his eyes.

"Uh...sorry i heard someone call you Adam earlier and took a mental note."i say trying to play it off, i could feel my heart be ripped, slowly each peice of flesh that was twined together snapping into two at his words, he didn't remember me, now that i think about i must be a reincarnation, there were many reincarnations after the aliens started coming here, maybe something they gave us? Or their appearance put something in the air, i don't know.

"Okay...."he says giving me a strange look and walking off.

Time skip

Despite our awkward encounter i got Adam to agree to be my boyfriend, lance was right with that whole flirting thing....i wonder how...where... Or even is lance even alive, or the others.

I know Keith is, i found out my brother was Keith and my sister axeca, Avery i don't seem to remeber. Everything is different, Its strange to see Adam young and happy, it's weird to no longer be so damaged.

I look over at Adam, who stands in the corner a smile on his face. Then i turn my attention back to the commander in front of me.

"So...you ready to take your first space expedition?"he asks me, i feel something curl in my stomach, on one hand shiro yorak loves space and would do anything to be up with the stars making history  on the other takashi shirogane was tormented up there, my body ripped apart and put back together and forced to fight in a war with no time to recover. I was torn...i look over at adam, his eyes wide and figure swaying. this is a new life space is safe...

"Yeah I'll-"i start but then am cut off.

"takashi! Wait please don't, don't leave me again!"Adam shouts moving from his place on the wall and into my arms.

"You remeber?"i ask him.

"I guess the fear of you leaving me again was enough to help me see, please don't leave, have a life with me this time.."Adam begs in my arms.

"I won't leave you again..."i whisper and soon his lips are smashed up against mine warmth filling my body like a fire, each limb and appendage get no escape from the passionate wrath. Finally we pull apart, the world feels cold when touching my warm skin.

"What just happened here?"my commander asks.

"Sir, i would like to decline your offer for space travel"

Story's end

"Wow, thats actually kinda romantic"Keith says.

"Well what can i say."i smirk.

"Why didn't you just tell him who he was?"Keith asks.

"It dosent work like that, you have no idea what could trigger the memories, but you can try and trigger them, just be careful. It may look strange."i tell him, he nods a contemplative look on his face.

"Well I'm gonna go" Keith says getting up from his spot, I nod as he leaves the room an odd calm and emptiness filling the air.

I wish Adam were here now, but like he said...it's his turn to explore the stars.

"Shiro!"I hear a shout along with a slam of my door opening.

"What happened now?"I ask, a tired tone to my voice.

"That stupid-! That idiot-! Lance did something stupid!"Keith says the familiar anger in his eyes.

"Ya know the old you would have been so calm, or just worried."I say with a laugh standing up to join the anger boy.

"Yeah well the old me didn't remember all the horrible things."Keith says storming out of the room with me following behind.
