Lances pov

"Thanks for picking me up shiro. I just didn't feel like walking home today"I say taking a seat in the passengers side of his car.

"Your welcome lance. How is work going?"shiro asks, i give a sigh and sink further into his cars seat.

"I've been pulling a lot of over time lately, I'm so tired but I just keep signing up for more work."I say and close my eyes.

"Well why do you keep signing up for more work?"he asks me...and I never have had a chance to stop and think about this, was it because I didn't want to stop and think about what was going on, or maybe Keith was right when she said I had bad tendency's.

"I don't know. the money is good?"I mumble not knowing the true answer myself. I hear shiro sigh.

"You need to take a break Lance." Shiro says his eyes remaining on the road.

"Yeah Maybe..."I say, my voice trailing off. I turn to look at shiro who's brows are furrowed.

"Uh hey lance...have you ever milked a cow?"shiro asks, I furrow my brow and glance at shiro.

"Um....no, shiro I grew up in a city you know that."I say.

"Oh sorry, just with such a big family I assumed you lived in a more spacey place."he says readjusting his grip on the steering wheel. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat.

"....you mean just me and my mom, dude we couldn't have lived any place bigger."I say, why would he assume I had a big family? I feel an uneasiness sit in the pit of my gut.

"Oh sorry, I um...I shouldn't have assumed."he said, we pulled into a parking spot at the school, before shiro gets out he turns towards me and takes a deep breath.

"Look lance, do you think anything you've experienced felt familiar..."shiro says. I reach my hand for the door handle, what is with everyone?

"What no! why does everyone keep acting strange?!"I shout and get out of the car I start walking to my dorm when I feel a tug on my arm.

"Lance you okay?"Matt's twin sister asks, why is she talking to me? She never talks to me before, she started to avoid me even more so since I started dating her brother. I feel my breathing speed up, why is everyone acting so strange, even strangers I don't know....know me?

I feel my chest start to heave faster and I could feel my heart beat in my ears. I rip my arm from her grip with such force that I fall back onto my ass. Pidge and shiro get closer to me but I scramble from my place and break off into a run towards my dorm.

"Lance!"I hear a voice call through the hallway, I see allura standing front of me worry on her face.

"Are you ok...."she says, her words started to get drowned out half way through, why are all these people talking to me?!

I could feel the blood pumping through each and every single vein in my body. I stumble backwards away from allura and run towards my room. Once I get inside I slam the door closed and fall onto my knees. I grasp my shirt and try to catch my breath, try to calm myself down.

I look up and see hunk has a worried look on his face. I see his lips part as if he was speaking but I could only hear my own breathing. I shook my head and tried to back up further into the door. Please....not hunk too, please leave me someone, one sane person, one person who make me feel sane!

I see hunk fumble with his phone, that's when I diverted my eyes to the floor and tried to get the new blur that was in the corners of them to leave. I tried to focus on the texture of the floor but nothing would happen.

Soon I feel a pressure against the door, like someone was trying to open it. The movement sent my nerves on edge, everything is already shit, I can't have the world starting to move without my consent.

I let out a scream that even breaks through the noise of my heavy breathing, that's when I was tossed from the door, pushed over by the piece of wood connected to the wall. I see black and red get in front of my vision.

I hear a soothing voice in my ear. It tells me to breath to calm down. Soon my vision is completely fine, and I can hear the world clearly. I feel a hand touch my shoulder lightly and I flinch back from it, soon the warmth is soothing and I let my body fall limp out of its tense position. That's when the hand start to run up and down my arm in a soothing pattern.

"You better buddy?"the voice asks, I look up to see Keith in his black coat and red under shirt. I nod my head not wanting to verbally answer in fear that my voice would be weak.

"Great, do you want to tell me what happened?"he asks me, didn't really want to tell him, he would only think me crazy, tell me that I was over thinking it, I know I wasn't, everyone is acting strange and I could tell! I shake my head no and he sighs in response.

"Okay, you want me to show you a place that I like to go to calm down." He says in his soft voice. I look up at his purple eyes glimmering in the light of the room, the small smile on his face that made me feel safe.

"Yes please..."
