Keiths pov

"So your fight didn't last that long."he sums up the story I had just tolled him. I sight and slump back against my chair and run my fingers through my hair.

"It wasn't that long no...but it felt like forever."I say and we continue our conversation.

"Keith?"a voice asks from the door, I turn lazily but when I see who said my name I freeze. Hunk stands in the door way a hand over his mouth as tears form in the corner of his eyes.

"Hunk."shiro says and stands up, hunk runs towards him being enveloped in a hug that I join in.

"Guys I missed you."hunk says, voice cracking.

"Yeah well that's what you get for going to the ballmara."I say with a laugh.

"So how'd  you remember?"shiro asks.

Hunks pov

Time skip

I flip through the pages of the biography of the yellow paladin, they tolled stories of his life that was filled with adventure, heartache, and friendship.

I flip open to a new page, on it was an alien, in a little box at the bottom it said shay. She was beautiful, no doubt about it.

She must have been to beautiful because soon my vision went away, it was all white, sentences flowed through my head reminding me of another life.

'Hey I'm lance McClain, and you are?'

'Yellow paladin'

'Hunks got a girlfriend'

'There are family's down there, we just can't abandon them!'

'I want to be happy for lance, I really do.'

'What if....what if we just stayed?'

'Hunk why are you so nosey! I didn't ask for your friendship and I certainly didn't ask for this!'

'Shay, I love you. Would you please marry me'

'I'm sorry...'

'I'm sorry....'

'I'm sorry...'

'I love you shay...I hope to see you again.'

Once the words had stuck to the inside of my head filling it over the capacity of things it could hold is when the pictures of different moments filled it.

I could finally see again, the first thing I saw was the last person I wanted to see.

"You okay, you were just kinda starring out into the distance."lance said.

"Fuck off." I spit out at the boy and stood from my place on the coach. I decided I would go for a walk, try to organize the memories in my head, soak in everything that just happened.

I see the door cracked open to mr.douglasses classroom, I take a few step towards it and once I peek in I see...shiro and

"Keith?"I say.

"Yeah so that's how I got here."I say and shrug my shoulders.

"Well, welcome back."shiro says patting my back, I look down and notice both his arms are made of flesh, it was...weird, different.

"Things have really changed."I say and they both nod.

"There's a science fair!"purge shouts as she runs into the classroom holding up a poster paper.

"Science buddy!"I cheer once pidge enters, she instantly drops the paper and jumps up to give me a hug. I feel tears well up in my eyes at the feel of her warm flesh.

The last time I held her in my arms her skin was colder then ice and her dark red blood had covered my armor. But now I could feel her chest rise with breath.

"It's good to see you alive."I laugh and set her down.

"It's good to see you remembering things."pidge chuckles out. Then she looks down and and picks up a piece of paper, she holds the paper she had run in here with.

"Wanna do the science fair with me?"she asks, a cheeky smile on her face.

"Uh yes!"I say. We exit the room leaving shiro and Keith by them selves.

Time skip

As we tinker Round with our new project for the science fair, we decided we would recreate the space phone. It was nice to catch up with pudge while we worked, we gushed about the new technology that was created since  the end of the war.

"So...I have been wondering, do you hate lance, like was it only hunk darson that hated him or..."pidge trails off.

"Can't stand the guy."I respond to her question.

"Why?"she asks. I stop working and look at the table beneath my hands before looking back up at pidge.

"It's not my place to say, if he wants to explain what happened when he remembers then he can do so, I'm not a jerk...unlike him."I say, pidge gives a nod and we begin working on our project again.
