Shiros pov

I feel joy flood my system as I hear the ringing of the tiny yellow piece of glass I used to use when I was part of Voltron, when I look at it I was correct. Adam was calling me.

"Adam!"I cheer as I except the call. He laughs and waves at the camera.

"I've missed you so much." I breath out, the sight of his sandy hair and green eyes taking my breath away.

"I've missed you too, but space is so cool!"adam cheers closing his eyes to emphasise his joy.

"Yeah I guess, you are getting the better version of it then I ever did."I say with a laugh and he stiffens slightly.

"Whoops."he mutters but I shrug it off.

"It's fine, this time I have you and my arm." I stare into his eyes and he stares back.

"So what's new back at the garrison?"he asks snapping us out of the silence and breaking me out of my stupor.

"Oh yeah, Keith and pidge are back."I say. He nods.

"I can't wait to meet pidge and see what Keith is like."adam says. I nod and we continue to talk, about what he has seen, about his meeting the new paladins of Voltron on a planet, about the new records they got and how research for other planets are going.

"Sounds amazing...I wish you were here you know."I say.

"It's lonely in our house, and I would like to actually live a life with you...I know it's your turn to leave and explore but Adam....I'm terrified, I'm so scared that space will pull us apart again. I don't want to lose you adam...your so important to me."I whisper tears threatening to fall.

"I know shiro, but this is a new life, it's not like last time. Space is safe, there hasn't been any big threats for a hundred years. You have nothing to fear."adam whispers, his comforting words put a smile on my face and we soon end the call. I sigh and rest my head on the table letting the unnerving quite of the empty house crawl up my spine making my nerves sit on edge.

Back with Voltron the quite always meant something horrible would come soon...But this new life is...safe...

Time skip

Daniel? I stare at the man across the way, his body still toned, his hair a light brown that is accompanied with his dark chocolate eyes. Soon he sees me staring and grins at me, I watch as he strolls my way and I feel myself wanting to flee.

"Shiro?"the man whispers a smile placed on his face, oh god he remembers.

"Daniel..."I breath out, my throat starting to close up, why was this so hard. He reaches his hand up and places it against my face, I feel myself lean into his warm and caring touch, I could feel myself slowly melt and my will to remain strong slowly slip as my husbands hand touches my cheek.

"Oh god I've missed you."he whispers leaning in, that's when I snap out of it and jerk away from his touch.

"W-Wait Daniel...I'm married."I admit and hold my hand out that has a golden band made of promises on my ring finger.

"What?"he asks, I could hear his voice crack and the sound almost broke my will not take him into my arms and hold him close.

"Daniel...you know my fiancé that I tolled you about? I found him..."I say and watch his face break even further, he puts his head into his hands and sighs.

"I'm sorry darling..."I mutter out not wanting to watch my old lover in such pain.

"No, shiro. Not now we made promises to each other, I-I've been looking everywhere for you ever since I got my memories back."the males voice is angered and a furious look is held on his face.

"We made those in the old life, we got a new start, a new life. We can't be held accountable for those."I try to defend myself but his anger only grew.

"So they meant nothing?! Forever meant nothing to you?! Just because you are a whole man with his safe mind again you think I don't matter?! Was I just trash to you?! An object you could throw out when you got something better?!"the man shouts, furry in each of his words, tears start sliding down his face.

"I'm sorry...I loved you so much, I always will...but I could never be happy with you in this life if I just let Adam go."I say to the man, he looks at me, his lip quivering pathetically, eyes now read and tears still falling.

"Fine, I hope you and Adam are happy."he says and walks off leaving me in the garrison hallway all alone.

"Daniel..."I sigh and walk back to my room, tears now forming in my eyes as heartbreak sets in.
