Neo pov

I gripped my umbrella loosely as I felt the wind die down. I started to descend to the earth slowly not sure whether I was dead or alive. I saw leaves rush past my face and a voice calling out but I was to tired to try listening. My strength finally left me and I let go of my umbrella falling. As I closed my eyes accepting my fate a pair of arms grabbed me. I looked at the person and saw Roman. I must be dead. He was eaten. "Hold on Neo. You'll be fine. I'll get you help." He sounded very distance. I slowly started to close my eyes.

Roman pov

I kick in the door and lay neo on the couch and I run into to the bathroom grabbing as many medical things as I could and bring it out to neo. As I do this i hear a voice. "I still can't believe that you got us that job for killing Grimm." A male voice said.

"We couldn't just leave them. I mean don't you want to stop salem?" A female replied getting closer. I sighed shaking my head and started to apply guaze bandages to neos stomach and arms where most of the damage was.

"Fair enough but at least the job is over. Its getting late let's take shelter in this cabin here." The male voice says and heavy steps then echoed through the cabin as I saw the door open. "Oh hello......" a boy with white skin and black veins started at me while standing behind him was a hooded girl. "Sorry to bother you but do you think we could take shelter in here for the night?" I stayed silent before hearing a groan. I instantly turned and started to stroke her hair like a father would for their child.

"Uh sure kid I guess. Just don't take anything that's medical. I might need it to help my friend." I say to which I got a sure. Next thing i knew it was dark out and neo was still out.

"So what happened to her?" The female asked to which I growled.

"None of your business."

"I'm sorry I'm just wondering." She said saddened.

"Sorry it's just I don't have trust for anyone right now." I say and look back at the 2 kids. "Why are you here?"

"Looking for family and friends while on our way to Haven." The boy says emotionless.

"Well good luck to you with that." I say to which he nods. I let out a yawn. "Can I trust you won't split our throats while we sleep?"

"Only if were not prvoked." The boy said as he put some raw meat into the bag next to him. The bag shook slightly before becoming still.

"Alright then..... well night I guess....." I then drift off to sleep but before totally blackness I saw the chick laying her head on the boys shoulder.

Weiss pov.

I watched Jaune and ruby leave then turned to everyone else in the room. "Are we not going to talk about this?"

"What?" Yang asked.

"Jaunes unhealthily habits." I say. "He's exhausting himself to the point of near death because he lost Pyrrha."

"Didn't you do the same ice queen?" Yang said matter of factly.

"Thays different. I was becoming the best I can be to prove i was worthy of the schnee name." I say. "He's doing it to cover up how he feels. But that's not the point. We have to help him out."

"As much as I hate to admit it Weiss is right." Nora said making me irritated.

"I propose we each spend some time with him to help him get over this." I say with no objection. That's when Qrow walked in.

"Hey uncle Qrow." Yang said. He nodded taking a swig from his flask.

"Wheres ruby?" He asked looking around.

"On a date with Jaune." Nora said and everything was quiet.

"What?"

Nathen pov.

It was early morning when Pyrrha and I continued on our journey to Haven. We had left the man and girl while they slept. Right now we were a few miles away from Haven. I looked back to see Pyrrha had stopped and was staring at the ground. "Hey what is it?" I asked putting a hand on her shoulder as she looked up to me.

"What will happen when we get there?" She said sadly. "What if they hate me?" I small softly. "What if-

"Then you can hang out with me." That's when she smiled and hugged me. "I'll never abandon you. Now let's go find this jaune guy." She nods and we both throw our hoods up when a black haired man with a red tattered Cape. For some reason he seemed very familiar. I shook it off and watched him.

"God that girl is gonna being the death of me." He muttered while drinking from a flask. We stayed still until he saw us. "What are you kids doing out here?"

"Trying to find someone." I say quickly.

"Well if you're looking for professional huntsmen then you're in the wrong place. If you're looking for kids then you and I got problems kid." He growled the last part to me.

"Aren't you Ruby's Uncle Qrow?" I heard pyrrha ask making me turn to her.

"Who wants to know?" He said taking a timid step towards us.

"Allies wishing to stop salem." She said taking off her hood to reveal her pale face.

"How are you alive and why do you look like that?" The drunk asked.

"Thanks to Nathen here." She said to which I let out a sigh if disappointment.

"Seriously you're too nice for your own good."

"Nathen? As in the son of Salem?" He said with hope.

"Yeah but don't bother with trying to hold me hostage. She doesn't care-" I started talking only to be found in a bone crushing hug.

"Come with me. I'll take you to Team RWBY and JNR. We've got so much to talk about."
