"Who let this ass Pokemon in my court?"

Callum's eyes fluttered open, and he looked around. This was most definitely not his room. In fact, it looked like... a castle.

"Where am I?" he groaned.

"You are in the presence of the one and only King Nappy," came his answer.

Callum stood up, only to realize something was different. He quickly found a reflective surface and looked over himself.

"I'm... a Scrafty," he said.

"Yes, you are," Nappy said. "And Scrafty is not allowed in my court."

Callum walked back over to Nappy.

"I know your voice," he said. "I've heard it in my dreams. You were a Gengar."

Nappy was very clearly a human, sitting up on his throne. Upon hearing this, he quickly walked over to the short-statured Pokemon.

"Everybody, out! I want to speak to this hoodlum alone."

Everyone quickly left the throne room. Once it was just the two of them, Nappy looked at Callum.

"Who are you?" he asked.

Callum began to shiver as the room instantly became colder.

"C-Callum," he said. "Is it cold in here to you?"

Nappy just laughed.

"Callum," he said. "So, you say a Gengar with my voice came to you."

Callum nodded.

"Y-yes sir," he said. "In... my dreams. And then, I woke up as a Scrafty."

"What do you mean you woke up as a Scrafty?" Nappy asked, eyeing Callum suspiciously.

"Well," Callum said, "I'm not really a Scrafty. I'm a human. Like you."

"I see," Nappy said. "Now, back to my so-called appearance in your dream."

"You were... calling to me. For help. But, you never told me why you needed the help."

The King stood up and walked over to him. Callum, now being only three feet tall, wasn't used to everyone being taller than him. Nappy knelt down so that he was face to face with Callum.

"Let me get one thing straight with you, Callum," he said. "I don't ask for help from anyone. Especially not ass Pokemon like Scrafty. Now, get out of my castle."

Callum sighed and walked out. Nappy watched him go. He didn't understand why, but it broke his heart to watch the Hoodlum Pokemon leave.
