EPILOGUE

I know you must have found my experience intriguing and strange, but the truth is that weird things are happening in various parts of the world that we can't even fathom. My case might be trivial compared to some of them.

Well, I thank God for rescuing me from the hands of the evil ones. My name really spoke well for me.

I know you all must be wondering how I got out of that creepy place. Well, my mom came with the police the next morning to search for me in the school. The thing is, my mom prayed fervently for me the day Tutor Beatrice and her accomplices were on the verge of killing me.

According to my mom, she had a dream that night after praying. In the dream, she saw me somewhere in the school, looking weak on the floor. She believed God revealed my location to her. So, that made her come to the school with policemen to check my whereabouts inside the school. She searched each floor of the school until she found me on the sixth floor, in my miserable state. They quickly cut the ropes that were binding my hands and legs, and took me straight to the hospital.

As for Tutor Beatrice and her accomplices, they were all confirmed dead. When I regained consciousness in my hospital bed later, my mom was present, and she apologized for not believing me regarding all that I told her about John Felix Academy. It was a heartfelt apology, and I forgave her.

Some months later, she enrolled me in another school which carried normalcy; where I completed my secondary education. Right now, I'm an undergraduate at one of the most prestigious universities in Lagos, studying mechanical engineering.

About the principal of John Felix Academy, Mr. Adebayo Thompson: he was arrested for students going missing in the school every year. The police discovered corpses on the sixth floor of the school and some items belonging to students who had been reported missing; some of their names were identified in these items.

The school was completely shut down, and all students transferred to another school. I wonder how the school's proprietor, said to be a woman not based in Nigeria, reacted. I also wonder if any of them ever returned to normalcy.

I do pity the principal because he was a victim of Tutor Beatrice's manipulation, just like the other students.

The man's behavior was odd at school, but I never paid enough attention to realize that. What a pity that he had to go to prison for his role in the students going missing. Yes, his role was keeping silent about what was happening to the students, as Tutor Beatrice controlled him to do. Thankfully, he was not sentenced to death but had to spend some years in prison; the exact duration is unknown, maybe ten years or more.

Now, consider this: did my story make you ponder the concept of weirdness? I can tell you there are several reasons people become weird. In truth, not everyone is naturally or socially weird; some are spiritually weird, and many of us never consider that possibility.
