Prompt: Roman x Reader

So, the reader is deceased prematurely, but she is still a ghost who has a chance to come back (she is aware of the idea that spirits linger as long as they are remembered, but has no idea that Roman loves her let alone strong enough for her to have the opportunity): if she's able to overcome shyness well enough for the two to kiss before or by midnight, she'll be able to come back. She visits Thomas and the others and can still touch and be touched, yet she'd feel cold on her body. Evening eventually hits and the two watch a Disney movie while everyone else does their own thing. He puts a blanket on her and asks if she's okay. She asks if it'd matter to him if she disappears, they both confess their love and kiss till slumber. She's absent the next morning and Thomas gets a call from Joan about her being out cold with wounds and them randomly disappearing. They find Joan supporting her balance by the alley near a bar and Roman rushes up to her in shock, but the pair share a silent understanding when he feels her warm in his embrace and they look into each other's eyes and he hugs her tighter with tears in his eyes and says something like "I'll never let you go again, my angel".

When the clock strikes midnight tonight, and you have yet to confess to your crush, you shall go back to the clouds.

My spirits keep telling me this If only I wasn't this shy then it'll be easier for me to confess.

Tonight I'm also going to hang with one of the best people in the world, and I'm glad I get to call him my friend, Thomas.

I'm afraid, this might be my last time seeing Thomas, (I'm just thinking of Dead Girl Walking now 😂)

I knocked,

And I was greeted by Roman in his 'More Modern' style of clothes,

"Oh Greetings Y/n! What brings you here?" Roman opened the door wider for her to come in,

"Oh Hi Y/n!" Thomas greeted which made Y/n jumped,

"I thought Thomas told you" Y/n hugged Roman, he still has that most familiar scent that Y/n loved, but Y/n still felt cold to the touch, She is a ghost

"Oh, well he didn't, Oh well." Roman chuckled nervously

What is going on here?

"Y/N!" Patton's voice came from the stairway,

"Hi, Patton" Y/n waved, Patton came down and gave Y/n a hug, she still felt cold to the touch.

"Y/n! You're freezing!"

"Yeah, I guess"

"Hey, we're having a movie night tonight, so maybe you want to join us?" Roman asked sheepishly,

"Uh, Sure" Y/n replied while being wrapped in a blanket,

Patton said he had to check something, and left

Logan said he wanted to continue reading his books since he was doing a big project or something,

Virgil, He just left. I don't know why

And Thomas had to answer a call so he left.

So it was just me and Roman.

Y/n was still cold since she kicked her blankets off, Roman placed it over Y/n in attempt to warm her up again,

"Are you alright?"

"Huh-Oh-Me- Y-yeah, Just. Thinking."

"Oh, what are you thinking about?"

"Would you care if I just like, Disappeared?"

"Wait, Yes I would care, I care a lot about you Y/n, Why would you want to disappear?" Roman held Y/n's hand, they were freezing!

"I don't know, I just-" Tears started to leak down Y/n's face, the movie light was lighting up Y/n's tears,

"Shh" Roman wiped her tears ( Eye juice) away, They were inches away from each other's face

Roman closed the gap between them

Internal sparks were flying in both of their brains,

YAY!!!!

I am kissing Roman

I was KISSING ROMAN!

They both let go and smiled at each other, They fell asleep in each other's arms, Y/n finally starting to feel warmth again.

Roman woke up on the couch, by himself.

"Y/n?" Roman couldn't see any traces of where she could've gone to,

"Goodmorning Roman" Patton greeted

"Greetings Patton, have you by any chance seen Y/n this morning?"

"No, But maybe Thomas has"

"Thank you Patton" Roman went to find Thomas.

"Ah, Thomas! Have you by any-" Thomas' phone rings

"Sorry Roman, it's Joan" Thomas answers the Phone.

Even though it wasn't on speaker Roman still heard what Joan said, or yelled

"THOMAS! Y/N NEEDS HELP! I FOUND HER IN AN ALLEYWAY DRIVING TO YOUR HOUSE! COME QUICK" Then Joan hung up,

"Come on Roman, Let's go"

"Wait, me? Ok" They both ran to Thomas' car,

"Logan!" Thomas summoned,

"Salutations"

"Come on, we have to help Y/n"

"Do we know which alleyway?-" The phone buzzed, Joan sent the location,

"Y/n!" Roman jumped out of the car once it stopped,

Joan was helping her support herself, she was once again cold, her eyes looked less dull than before but it was still a bit dull then her original E/c.

Roman embraced and Kissed Y/n, instantly she started feeling warmth again, but this time it was permanent,

"Roman!" Y/n hugged Roman again,

"I'll never let you go again, my angel."
