Prompt: Roman X Reader

They both have the same dream but in different perspectives. It involves stormy seas during a boat trip. Everyone heads below the deck but Roman because she fell overboard and he tries to grab her hand, but she pushes his hand away just as another wave comes to shove the boat and pull her under. He attaches himself to something heavy and dives down to embrace her and drown with her. When they wake up, he remembers everything up to embrace her and she remembers up to when things went black once the wave hit. The morning consists of Roman worried for her and her being extra quiet. The two eventually watch some TV more for the sake of being in each other's company than for whatever they were watching and he tells her to give him her hand and she pushes it away lightly after reaching for it, which confirms that they both had that dream. He questions why she's not scared of it and she responds with the idea that her drowning might've meant something, thus leading to him revealing what happened in his perspective after everything went black for her and justifying that THAT seemed to emphasize that he'd never let her go.

(Even though drowning in a dream with someone means that That relationship will end up drowning like they did...so?)

"Prince Roman, we are experiencing some big waves up ahead"

"Try going around them,"

"Prince Roman, the aft is in poor condition"

"How could that be?!"

"We don't know sir,"

"Here I'll deal with this, Roman" Y/n said as she carefully walked over to the aft.

Y/n knew how to fix it, "Aha, it should be in good condition now"

"Woah," The waves were started to hit hard, and one of the ropes snapped

"I have to fix that-" "Y/n! be careful!" Roman yelled over the sound of crashing water hitting the side of the ship, he reached out his hand in attempt to grab a hold of her, but she refused and continued on tying the rope, the waves hit the boat again,

Maybe a bit harder than expected as Y/n had been thrown off of the ship,

"Y/n!!" Roman cried out as he was preparing to jump in,

"Prince Roman! What are you doing!?"

"Saving my love," Roman said as he jumped in,

"Ro-Man?" Y/n head was just above the water line,

"Y/n!" Roman choked out while swimming towards her voice

He found her and swam with all his might, He hugged her, and they both embraced as they accepted their death, the waved swallowed them both...

Roman woke up in cold sweat,

Y/n jolted awake,

'That was just a dream'

'Solo una pesadilla'

Roman hugged Y/n closer to him

"Goodmorning Love~" Roman kissed the back of her head,

"Goodmorning"

They finally got out of bed after morning cuddles,

"Goodmorning Patton!"

"Ah! Roman, oh it's just you, you scared me"

"My apologies"

"Morning Y/n!" Y/n waved 'Hi' as she was walking down the stairs, she was never mute like this before,

"Whatever you're cooking smells wonderful Patton"

"Thanks, it's bacon, eggs, and pancakes."

"Nice" Princey nodded approvingly.

After brunch, Logan and Patton went with Thomas to hang out at friend's house to do a collab, Virgil was just chilling in Thomas' mind,

So Y/n was stuck with Roman for the rest of the day,

They were watching Beauty And The Beast when the part where The Beast was dancing with Belle in his massive ballroom, Roman wanted to hold Y/n's hand, She first rejected but then held his hand, Roman gave a reassuring squeeze.

"You had the Dream?"

"Yeah" Y/n replied,

"I can't remember much though"

"Why aren't you scared or frighted in any way?"

"What if it means something?-"

"Roman, I drowned in that" Y/n was now curled on top of Roman, her face nuzzling his chest,

"I did too"

"Huh? You were on the ship though"

"Yeah, but then I jumped in to rescue you"

"Which ended up both of us drowning"

"Oh, I don't remember that, I just remember me calling your name then everything went black"

"I found you and hugged you until we were drowned by the ocean"

"The ocean can't always save you"

"Did-did you just quote Moana?"

"Maybe~"

Y/n snuggled in more to Roman's chest,

"You won't let me go, right?"

"Well, I did just die in a dream of hugging you literally to death, soooo"

Y/n playfully punched Roman's shoulder

"No, I won't let you go" They both smiled as they cuddled again on the couch.

"I love you"

"I love me too"

"Princey!" Y/n laughed

"What, I do, but yes, I love you too" Roman kissed her forehead.
