Prompt: *chosen side* (In this case Roman) x Reader

The two are randomly talking about fears. She has whatever fear she has (That she doubts said side, her crush, might understand) and he gets slightly cocky claiming he doesn't have a fear (since it would lead to him admitting his feelings for her). Unexpectedly, he ends up with some nightmares and waking mental images about losing her for good. Everyone else gets concerned and he keeps claiming he doesn't have fear. Then, she gets close to having some kind of accident happening to her and he clings onto her slightly panicking as he does so. He swallows his pride and admits he's scared of losing her. She manages to calm him down and says that she wouldn't want to lose him either.

Y/n and Roman were cuddled up together watching Disney movies on the couch, the warm fuzzy F/c blanket wrapped around them, it was a cold autumn night, they decided to just spend time with each other.

Each being comfy in each other's embrace, they started talking about fears once a Disney princess showed a fear of spiders,

When Y/n was listing all of her fears, she ended up scaring herself by listing off W/f (Worst fear) and hugged onto Roman,

After she had calmed down, Y/n asked Roman,

"What are your fears?"

"I don't have any fears" Roman lied, there was only one thing the royal feared the most, he had two reasons why he didn't tell her though,

"You sure? Not even W/f?"

"Nope."

"Alright my Prince" Soon after they finished watching Moana Y/n, and Roman fell asleep together, snuggled.

Y/n had a peaceful sleep, the same thing couldn't be said with The Prince though.

The realm of nightmares and fears gave him shocks of unwanted energy, so much that he woke up in a startle, He had dreamt that Y/n disappeared from him, leaving him in a forever spiral of heartbreak and fear of love.

"Roman?"

"Mmh?"

"You alright?" Y/n asked, in a sleepy voice

"Yea, Go back to sleep my sweet" Roman kissed the top of her head and they both fell back to sleep, Roman still having a fearful night...

Roman woke up before Y/n and he carefully got up without waking her and made some coffee/tea for both of them. Y/n woke up gradually when she smelt the warm smell of the coffee/tea. "Morning Sweet" Roman handed her, her cup of the warm liquid.

"Goodmorning Roman, Good morning Y/n" Patton smiled as he stepped down the stairs,

"Morning Patton," Y/n and Roman said, drink a sip of warm goodness

"There's still hot water in the kettle if you want some coffee, Patton" Roman offered, sitting down next to Y/n on the couch,

"Ok, Thanks, Roman" Patton walked into the kitchen,

The couple talked and Patton joined in soon afterward, followed by Logan who woke up next and Thomas who woke up even later, Virgil had stayed in his room,

They were talking about video ideas and just joking around when Patton, Y/n, Logan, and Thomas noticed that Roman seemed to be more, frightened and tense than usual.

"Roman, Are you alright?" Patton asked, followed by a worried Thomas questioning him what's on his mind,

"It's-uh, It's nothing, don't worry about it,"

"Are you sure you're alright My prince?" Y/n asked she was probably the most worried if something was wrong she wanted to know what that something is

"Yeah," He wrapped his arm around her shoulders,

"Are you afraid or paranoid of something Roman?" Logan asked, he truly was curious

"No, As I said before I'm not scared of anything, I stay true to my words"

"You know, if anything is bothering you, you have people to talk to, like me, Y/n and Patton" Thomas mentions the other two while also pointing at them,

"Yeah," Y/n leaned against Roman,

"Yeah, I know"

The sides (Even Virgil) were all in the living room, Virgil and Roman looking at their phones sitting on the couch, Logan reading a book, and Patton baking brownies in the kitchen,

Y/n smelled brownies cooking and she was running down the stairs when suddenly Y/n tripped on the second last step,

"Ah!"

"Y/n!" Roman ran over and caught her just in time before she reached face first to the ground,

"Jesus, Thank you, Ro-!" He attacked her with a tight hug, he started panicking,

"Are you ok!?" Roman asked,

"Woah, shh, Hey, it's alright, I'm ok Roman" Y/n helped calm Roman and the other's came over to check and help him back to normal breathing.

They all sat on the couch,

"O-ok, I-I'm sorry I-I li-ed" Roman stuttered,

"With what honey?" Y/n leaned against him, it seemed to calm him down even more,

"I lied, about my fear..." Roman stopped crying

"I'm scared of losing you" Roman admitted, hugging her

"I'm scared of losing you too" Y/n hugged back, kissing him on the lips afterward.

"Awwww!!!" Both Patton and Thomas awed,
