Prompt: Logan x Reader

The guys go to a bar during a fall night due to an open Mic night going on and Roman gets so over-enthusiastic that he gets too much to drink and causes Thomas to think of some nonsensical ideas. By the time a performer wearing a warm outfit and a mask comes out with a guitar and sings, Logan becomes aware that the performer looks and sounds familiar, but Roman rushes up to the stage and becomes, well, as forceful as the Ice King from "Adventure Time". The guys pull him away and, before the performer runs off, their mask falls off revealing them to be the reader, Logan's significant other. Logan runs out to comfort them while everyone else brings Roman home to get him to bed. they reveal that they keep her identity concealed so people would focus on the performance more and Logan calms them down as they worry about drunken words being sober thoughts. He calms her down the next few days and, during that, Roman is uncertain about why they're friendlier to everyone else but him. They decide to play the song for Logan to ease their nervousness and memories come back to Roman. They get hesitant as he apologizes, but they eventually agree that what happened before won't happen again and that he'll be cautious if he drank again.

"I knew this was a bad-" "WOOOOOOH!" A drunk Roman interrupted Virgil, knocking over plastic cups and empty glass bottles, Logan put as much as an effort to try not to cringe while the Prince was way over drunk and dancing non sensically.

Patton and Thomas were on the dance floor, dancing through song after song before there was supposed to be multiple performances happening tonight, Virgil and Logan had agreed to stay sober while all the others had a few drinks, Roman had one too many and couldn't think straight, making Thomas also not thinking straight, leading to some awkward conversations Virgil will regret soon.

"I bet you that we're the only ones sane here," Virgil mumbled, crossing his arms as he slouches on the countertop, Logan was holding a glass of lemon water as the two were near the back, keeping a close eye on their friends.

Suddenly a loud announcement could be heard on the speakers, gaining lots of groans from the drunks when the music had cut.

"Ladies! and Gentlemen! and all those in equal! Welcome to tonight's show, starting off! we have an amazingly talented guitarist!" The person cheered, and most of the drunks clapped, along with Thomas and the sides.

Out behind the dark silk red curtains was a very nervous performer, the curtains drew back and showed someone who reminded Logan of their significant other, for some of their features, but only thought of it as a coincidence or the feeling of missing them. They wore well-blending colours, matched with F/c shoes and a very cat-like mask covering up their face, only allowing to see their majestic E/c eyes and the shiny H/c hair that was reflecting the glow from the spotlight.

They positioned the microphone at their hight and sat on the stool provided, making no eye contact with any of the guests/audience. A light pattern of strums played from the wood instrument as everyone watched,

"I don't know my name...

Logan felt like he knew that voice before, yet the answer was stuck in the corner of his mind.

Everyone watched in horror once Roman had jumped on the stage and started dancing, doing embarrassing dance moves in front of the crowd, once the sides all realized what was going on, they jumped up and grabbed Roman by under the armpit and dragged him away, apologizing a lot.

Logan watched as the performer dropped their mask and ran away, off the stage and out the back door. He left the others to take care of Roman and ran to quickly follow them.

Instantly, Logan knew who the person playing the guitar was, His loving Y/n, the first and only person that Logan romantically likes.

"Y/n!" Logan panted, when they heard the familiar voice, they came to a stop. Logan caught up and lifted their chin up to notice their puffy red eyes, and tears on their face. Holding their face, Logan wiped their tears away with his thumbs and slightly pecked their lips.

Y/n had hugged Logan, and they stood there, Logan comforting Y/n to the best of his abilities.

"I never knew you played the guitar so well, I really enjoyed it" Logan complimented,

"T-Thanks" Y/n had recovered a bit more,

"Why were you wearing a mask during so?" Logan let go of their hug and faced Y/n,

"Well, I prefer to know that people like my performance and just my performance, not with me to get in the way"

"I still appreciate you and wish that you can play something for me sometimes" Logan grinned and took their hand, thinking it's just the drunk talking (Even though it wasn't, he didn't drink) Y/n smiled warmly, but still felt anxious.

"We should probably go back now," Y/n nodded and started walking with Logan back through the neighborhood and to their house.

The next few days, were awkward, to say the least, Logan listened more and took more time to spend with Y/n, Virgil tried his best at not punching Princey in the face after what he had done, and also tried not to tell Thomas all of his regrets, While rarely anyone talked to Roman, which made him very confused because he still has had no idea of what had happened that night, and he feels ignored, almost to the point where he feels as though Y/n secretly hates him.

It's been about a week since that night and Y/n decided to play the song she was supposed to play on stage to Logan in the living room.

Taking a deep breath to help calm her nervousness, she started strumming lightly,

"I don't know my name...
I don't play by the rules of the game...
So you say I'm just trying
Just trying.

I went from bland and popular
To joining the marching band.
I made the closest friends
I ever have in my lifetime.
I am lost trying to get found
In an ocean of people.
Please don't ask me any questions,
There'll be a valid answer,
I'll just say.

That I don't know my name...
I don't play by the rules of the game...

I now know my name!

Logan clapped but someone else was clapping with him,

"That-That was amazing Y/n!" Roman gasped, Logan showed no signs of emotions, as Y/n was shocked and anxious.

"Roman?" Y/n stuttered,

"I-I am so, so sorry-" Roman started, Y/n flinched a bit but listened, "I was so disrespectful, when I was uh- Drunk, and I deeply apologize from it, I promise that it will never happen again, I'm sorry" Roman sighed, a silence had filled the air until Y/n had spoken up.

"I forgive you," The 3 words that let Roman puff out a breath he didn't notice he was holding in, "Thank you, I will defiantly be more cautious next time" Roman bowed then smiled, he nodded at Logan's direction and left the room.

"I get my 10 bucks now," Logan smirked, gaining a confused look from Y/n, "You made a bet?" They laughed, "Virgil didn't think that Roman would apologize in less than a week, Well look now, it's been 6 days" They smiled and kissed each other for a short while.

"Your singing and playing was fantastic"

"Greetings Virgil, I believe that you owe me a sum of money" Logan had popped up into Virgil's room, which scared him a bit.

"Ok, when and where?!" Virgil asked, taking off his headphones, not looking quite pleased.

"A few moments ago, and in the living room," Logan smirked, Virgil groaned yet still handing him the 10 dollar bill.

"Remind me next time to not make a bet with you"

"Unlikely, Good evening" And Logan sunk back down, possibly back to his room.
