~Rochelle's POV~

Okay, so my day at the mall was eventful to say the least. Meeting 3 mermaid princesses definitely does not happen everyday. But I have more important thing s to worry about. The full moon is this weekend and I don't know what that will do to my mermaid half. Well, I already know what happens when my Saiyan half looks up; I go banana's (no pun intended). As long as Tori doesn't have me do any experiments, i'm safe. But knowing her, that won't happen. I am worried however. Luchia had told me that nothing happens when a mermaid looks at the full moon, but thats if you where born a mermaid. Lets just hope I don't find out the hard way.

"Beauty in the water, Angel of the deep. Ocean's daughter, I thought love was out of reach..."

"Ahhh!" I fell off of the couch. "Come on, I was sleeping over here!" Oh great it's my phone. Who could this be... I looked at the screen, Luchia had texted me.

"CALL ME NOW!! IT'S EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!" The message read. You sure it's more important that sleep. Oh well, might as well find out what she has to say. I searched through my contacts and called Luchia.

"Hello?"

"Hey, I found something you should know!"

"Well, what did you find?" I asked

"Well, I found out that there is a possibility that the moon may have an effect on you as a mermaid. You see, when a person is born a mermaid, their abilities do not come from magic. But when a mermaid is born of the "Moon Spring", the moon is what gives that person the abilities of a mermaid, and more." Luchia explained

"What do you mean by 'and more'?"

"Well, during certain times of the year, the Moon Spring can give a person the ability to control: Fire, Water or Air." That's strange what about how I can control the earth as well.

"Luchia, is there any way for someone who was transformed in the moon spring to be able to control ALL of earths elements. including the earth?" I asked her.

"I don't think so..."

"Oh." I responded. Than how can I control the earth as well.

"I mean, it could be possible. As far as I know, no human has ever gotten to control anything other than the three elements I mentioned. But theres a loop hole for anything I guess." For any human though...

"Okay, just wondering. Hey I got to go. I'll see you around!" I told Luchia

"Okay, see you around!" I took the phone away from my ear and pressed end.

Man this is going to be an interesting encounter with the full moon. Hey, you know what I just realized. I have to keep it a secret from my Saiyan friend(Gohan) that I'm a mermaid and I have to keep it a secret that I'm a Saiyan from my mermaid friends(Luchia, Hanon, and Rina). Man, this should be fun....

I looked at the wall clock in the living room. "10:00, I guess I can go to sleep now." I turned off the T.V. and went upstairs.

I entered my room and hopped in bed; something didn't feel right. I got out of bed and searched the room. "Who's in here! I demand that you show your face!" I yell into the darkness of my room. I could feel that someone was in here, but they masked their energy. I form an energy ball in my hand, hoping that who ever is trespassing would come out. "I'm not afraid to fire!" I yell. Then I hear someone moving behind me and I turn to see who it is; no one. Then I feel arms wrap around my neck and pull me into a strangle hold.

"Give me all your money punk!" A familiar voice says to me. I open my eyes and urn my head to see the face of whoever is trying to strangle me.

"Tori, you nearly scared the living daylights out of me!" I scream at her.

"Well, that was the point." She said.

"What are you doing here so late at night anyways?" I ask while I let out a small yawn

"Well, I came over to ask if you wanted to go on a trip this weekend. My family found this island a few miles off the coast and said we could go camping there!" Tori informed me.

"Really! I'd love to come! When do you guys leave?" I ask Tori.

"This weekend!" Tori tells me. Oh no, I can't go. this weekend is the full moon, and that will probably not end well if "something" were to happen

"Tori! You know I can't go out this weekend. Do you want me to go all ape on your family!"

"Chelle calm down! I knew that and thought I would bring you and early birthday present." Tori hands me a green gift bag with silver tissue paper. "Well don't just stand there and stare at it. Open the Bag!"

I take the bag and walk over to my bed. I open the bag and rummage around trying to find Tori's gift. My hand finally grazes a hard, smooth surface. What could she have possibly have given me? I grab the object and pull it out of the bag. Tori gave me a pair of sunglasses, cool.

The sunglasses were a really pretty shade of black. Rhinestones decorate the outside edges the frames and the lenses seem to be light than a normal pair of sunglasses. In fact, I don't know any pair of sunglasses that have purple lenses.

"Hey Toir, are these really sunglasses?" I ask my friend.

" I'm glad you asked! You see, these glasses are specially designed to filter blunce waves, the same waves that turn you Saiyans into big hairy monkeys. Now you can finally look at the moon again."

"Tori. How can I thank you? These are perfect!" I gave Tori a big hug.

"Well, don't just thank me, Bulma was the one who actually put these together. I just came up with the idea. And you can thank me by bringing them on the trip this weekend." Tori told me

"Sounds like a deal!" I said and gave Tori a big hug.

"Hey I got to go, I need to get back home before my parents realize I'm gone" Tori told me

"Okay you do that. I'll see you this weekend!" I say.

"See you this weekend." Tori replies. Tori then walks over to my window and flies out, hoping to get home before her parents wake up.

I walk back over to my bed and lay down, waiting to drift into unconsciousness.

I wake up with a light blinding my sight, oh wait...that's just the sun. Tori must have not closed the shades when she left after attacking me. I lazily get up from my horizontal position and walk to the window to close the blinds. I look over at my bed side clockto see it read 11:30. Man I slept late.

Alrgiht I have 30 minutes to meet Tori at the Harbor. I need to pack a bag for our trip and, well, that's about it.

I corssed my room and went over to my closet. There I pulled out a few peices of clothing and a few swimsuits. I put my belongins in a blue duffle bag. I then walked over to my dresser and put my Mermaid's Melody Necklace on and as well as my Bluncewave glasses on my head. I took one last look around my room and finally started on my way.

From my home, I walked down towards the harbor. I had a few minutes to spare, but I wasn;t totally sure what to do. I should probably find a "thank you" gift for Tori. Yeah, that's what I'm gonna do.

I ended up wondering into a little antique shop called "Ocean's Wave" and began to look around. There were many ocean-themed trinkets scattered around the shop. But one thing in particular caught my eye. A bracelet, one that resembles my necklace very much. Sapphrie colored gems are the center of many silver flowers that run up and down the bracelet's silver chain. It's a beautiful bracelet, I think I'll get it.

I walked over tot he cashier and paid for Tori's new bracelet. I had used up just enough time that now I will get to the harbor right before they leave.

I make my way down to the harbor, taking in the sites as I walk along. The trees are in full bloom, as well as all of the wild flowers. The sounds of chirping birds and ocean waves enter my ears. The smell of the ocean floods my nose as I walk closer to the harbor. My necklace shimmers under the sun light and my tail sways happily behind me. As I get closer, I begin to see the boat that will take us to our mystery island destination.

"Hey Chelle, Long time no see!" I hear Tori call to me from the boat.

"Those would be the exact words I would use," I call as I sprint towards the boat with my Saiyan speed, "especially because you tried to kill me last night." I say sarcastically

"Shh! I never did anything like that." Tori says and sends a wink my way.

"So is this going to be our ride to this mysterious Island of yours." I say climbing up the steps to reach the vessel.

"Yeah, It's pretty sweet, isn't it." Tori says gesturing towards the back of the boat.

This boat has to be at least 40 feet long and theres an upper deck. There are many windows that I think look into the captain's hull. I guess you could say that this is a yacht. A very nice and shiny...yacht.

"Ah Rochelle, it's good to see you. Your looking well." A fimiliar voice says to me.

I turn to see the owner of the voice, "It's good to see you as well Victor."

Victor is Victoria's twin brother. The two don't nessecarily see eye to eye. Victoria is the crazy wild one, while Victor is the...well...dosile and proper one. He is always addressing people in a formal way, and frankly it can be kinda creepy. But other times, it's kinda sweet. Victor does however know that I am a Saiyan. How you ask? Well, there was a bully (actually a few) and Victor isn't so strong and well...you get the picture.

"I see you still haven't gotten rid of your tail." Victor tells me sarcastically. I cringe my face at his tone and cross my arms over my chest. Sassy mode...activate.

" And I see you haven't gotten rid of your pompous attitude." I retort. Tori falls to the floor, literally laughing her ass off. Victor just cracks a smile. Even he has to admit, that was a good one.

"Touché. Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to help father prepare the boat." Victor said as he walked off towards the back of the boat.

"THAT...was the best thing I have ever seen!" Tori says as she tries to pull herself together.

"Awww, it was nothing." I say in a modest way.

"All ashore thats going ashore!" I hear Tori's dad yell from one of the windows leading to the captains hull.

It's time to head out on our quest to this mysterious Island.

We had finally arrivved at around 7 o' clock that evening. There was probably enough light left to find a camping spot and settle down for the night. Although, finding a camping spot out here does not look like an easy task; unless we are to camp on the beach. The entire island is covered in tall, tropical tree's and thick greenery. However, there is one lone hill that towers in the center of the island. This place somehow feels...familiar to me. I can't explain it really, I just know I've been here before.

"Rochelle, are you going to just stand there and stare, " Tori calls to me, "We have an entire island to explore!"

"I'm coming!" I say as I run down the stairs of the boat and onto the sandy shores of the island. I come up right between Victor and Tori. "Well, let's go!" I insist. Then the five of us (Including Toir's parents) all walk off the shores of the beach and intot the dense jungle to find a camping spot.

(A half hour later)

We finally found a clear camp ground at the base hill I had seen from the beach. However, I don't feel very comfortable right now. It could just be my nerves. I've never camped this far away from home before. But still, there is just something about this island that is putting me on edge.

"Chelle, the moon is rising. Put on your glasses." Tori tells me. I nod her way. Then I turn to my bag and grab the glasses. I also grab Tori's present while she's not looking.

"But before I put them on, I have something for you." I tell her handing her a sapphire colored bag with a silver bow on it.

She looks at the bag with a confused look, "What is this for?" she asks me.

"Well, because you worked so hard to get me these glasses," I say pointing to the glasses on my head, "That I thought I should get you something in return. Consider it...an early birhtday gift." I tell her.

Tori opens the bag, throwing tissue paper everywhere in the process. Then she finally gets the the small sheer bag holding her gift. She pulls the small bag out and stares at in in awe. "Oh my gosh," Tori finally says after many minutes of siting and staring, "Rochelle, it's beautiful. Where did you ever find something like this?" She asks still taking in every detail of her new bracelet through the bag.

"I'll show you when we get home." I tell her. "You want me to put it on for you?" I ask her. She nods my way. I take the smll bag and gently open it. I take the delicate bracelet out of the bag, Tori now gets more excited by the second. She holds out her wrist so I can put it on her. Then I clasp the bracelet onto her wrist. It's a perfect fit and the perfect color. It's almost like that bracelt was made for her.

"Thanks Chelle, I'll always tressure this bracelet." Tori tells me. Tori then pulls me into a hug and I return it. "Oh and one more thing Chelle." She tells me.

"What is it?" I ask her.

"You might want to put your glasses on soon. The moon is getting more visible by the second." Tori tells me.

"Oh, good idea." I say. I slide the glasses off of my head and infront of my eyes.

All I can say is wow. It's like I'm not even wearing the glasses. I can perfectly, there is no tinted color in my vision. I work up the nerve to turn my head and look at the moon for the first time in years. I slowly turn my head, my eyes closed as tight as I can get them.

"Chelle, It's okay if you don't want to look just yet." Tori tells me.

"No, I need to face my fear." I tell her. I slowly open my eyes. The light of the moon slowly coming into my vision. Then I finally see the moon. I brace myself for the transformation, but then nothing. Nothing happened. Oh my God!

"I'm not a big hairy monkey! Tori, they work!" I exclaim. My voice filled with excitment.

I can't believe it, I can finally look at the moon and not worry about turning into a big hairy monkey! Wait a minute, isn't the moon supposed to affect me as a mermaid? I geuss the glasses block that too! Yay!

"So now that we know your glasses work, do you want to go exploring?" Tori asks me.

"You knowz it!" I say.

Then Tori and I go to ask her parents to exploring. And after about 10 minutes of deliborating, her parents finally let us go! But we had to bring Victor with us.

"Now" Victor said. "you two need to stay close to me. We don't know the dangers that lie ahead on the island and..." While he was rambling on about who knows what, Tori and I snuck off; and I took the lead.

"Rochelle, do you have any idea where you are taking us?" Tori asked me as she frantically looks around for a fimilair sight.

"I think I do, but I'm not sure. It feels like something is guiding me to..." I look around and then something finally clicks, "to that tall hill over there." I say as I point off to the large hill we saw from the beach.

"Well, I guess it can't hurt to go there...let's go!" Tori says. We decide to fly instead of walk since we can easily see the hill from the air. 

As we fly through the moonlit skys, I can't help but wonder why I am leading Tori and I to this hill. I figure it out. I've never even been here before. Then suddenly a picture flashes into my mind. It was of me when i got lost in that weird cave. I was reaching into the water hole that lied in the middle of the cave floor. My hand only inches frm the water, and there was a mysterious blue light illuminating from the water. 

"Toir!" I call as I come to a sudden stop, "I'm having second thoughts about this!"

"Your beckon taught about fish?" Tori calls back. She obviously can't hear me.

"Tori!" I yelled and flew after her. She then flew towards the hill. I was going to get there to late, looks like there's no turning back now.

We land on the side of the hill and walk up the rest. As we reach the top, I notice an odd indent in the top of the hill. I run up past Tori to get a better look at the indent. I then come to find that it is not an indent, but infact a large hole that leads into a hollow cave with a pond in the middle. The walls filled with small, dark blue crystals that shimmer when the moonlight hits them.  This place looks so fimiliar, but why can't I remeber?

"Chelle, are you okay?" Tori asks me as she comes up behind me.

"I...I'm not sure." I respond. Then Suddendly I feel a jolt of energy run through my spine, nothing that can hurt me. But it definaltey got my attention. I stand up and turn around. I see a translucent wall of energy that surrounds Tori and I. But it doesn't feel like normal energy, almost like...no it can't be magic. That's obsurd! 

"Chelle, that THING is closing in on us!" Tori yells. It' doesn't ook like we can fly out of it, we have to jump.

"Tori, follow me." I say as I leep down into the cave. Tori doesn't does waste any time and jumps down into the cave right after me. 

I land right next to the pool of water and take in my surroundings. This place...why is it that I can't remember anything about it! I run my fingers along crystalized wall and examin every crystal that I pass by. "I have definatley been here before. But why do i think that?" I think to myself.

"Hey Chelle, we should head back soon. it's almost midnight." Then everything came together.

"Tori, exactly what time is it?" I ask her with much fear in my voice.

"Uhh, it's 11:59. Why?" she tells me. No this is not good. The moon will be directly over the pool in one minute! 

"Because Victoria," she came to full attention when I mentioned her real name, "This is the place that turned me into a fish! If you fall in there, you'll become part fish as well!" I tell her.

"Then we should probably go." Tori says.

We both start to fly off towards the top of the cave. Just when we are about to reach the top, I hit something hard. I fall back a few feet but then catch myself. 

"What the?" Tori says as she taps on the invisble force.

"There's no way out!," Then I hear the water move below us. I turn to see a tenticle of water is coming towards both Tori and I. "It's starting!" I yell. The tenticle makes a sudden trun and grabs Tori. The the tenticle recedes with Tori inside. 

"I'm coming Tori!" I yell as I fly full speed towards the moon spring and land with a splash. I kick my feet as hard as I can. I finally reach Tori just as my legs trasform into my tail. I flick my tail towards the surface as hard as I can and then I finally break the surface of the water.

"There you two are. I was wondering where you two wen...What happened to my sister!?" someone yelled from behind me. I turn to face Victor and his jaw drops to the ground. "Rochelle, are you a...a..." He stutters.

"Nevermind that, just help me with your..." I stop mid sentence. Water droplets begin to rise out of the water all around Tori and I. Our bodies are lifted into the air and Tori finally comes to.

"What's going on!?" Victor yells to us.

"I'm not sure!" Victoria yells to her brother

~Victor's POV~

"What's going on!?" I yell in shock. My sister and her best friend are caught in a wierd anti-gravity pool. Not to mention that Rochelle has a fish tail instead of a monkey tail. 

"I'm not sure!" My sister yells to me.

There seems to be thousands of water droplets that surround their bodies. They shimmer from the light of the moon. Then suddenly, the moon light reflects off of the water droplets and lights up the wall behind me. The moon light illuminates the dark cave, it's magical to say the least.

"Rochelle! I can't feel my legs!" My sister yells to Rochelle, but se gets no answer. I turn back around to face the girls, but I can only see my sister. Rochelle's body has been inveloped in a bright, shimmering sphere. Her body was changing again.

The once beauiful green tail has now been changed back to legs. The wrap that was once around her chest had evolved into a cloth that seems to come from around the back and cross in the front and go behind her neck. She then has a  white skirt that is short in front and long  aswell as a hole in the back for her saiyan tail. Rochelle's hands are covered in what looks like boxing tape(You know the stuff that boxers wrap there hands in) and a silver staff that is just slightly taller than she is. Her feet are covered in white boots with a green ruffle that goes half the length of her  legs. Her hair has turned blonde with many mint green streaks running through it and the head band that was in her hair just a few minutes ago. 

I then look over to my sister. Her legs have been transformed into a beautiful sapphire tail with two interlocking, gold rings around the end of her tail. Her light brow hair has grown substancially longer and her eyes had turned a sapphire blue color. My sister is a mermaid! 

And as soon as all this craziness started, it ended. The water droplets had splashed back down into the pool, as well as the girls. Rochelle surfaced first, with my sister in her arm gasping for air. I stare at them in complete awe, trying to cotemplate what I had just saw. 

"Victor, do you mind helping me here?" Rochelle says trying to keep her eyes closed as tight as possible.

"Oh right, you can't look at the moon." I respond finally snapping back to reality, or so I think. I walk over to the pond in the middle of the cave and drag my sister out of the water. Atleast she doen't have a tail. I bring her up to the edge of the cave and place her up against the cave wall. I then turn back to Rochelle. "When we get back home, you owe me an explination." I tell her.

"Deal, now help me out please." Rochelle tells me flicking her tail out of the air. I sigh and walk over to the pool. Now that this is all over, I think I have had my fill of craziness for a while.
