I woke up more groggy then usual. Then I started to remember the previous nights events. I quickly threw the sheets off my lower half.

"Whew, I still have legs. Man that was the weirdest thing that has every happened to me." I sat on the edge of the bed, trying to contemplate what had happened the night before. It was all so bizarre, am I really a mermaid? I looked over at my door to see Victoria and Bulma standing in the doorway.

"Oh thank Kami your okay Rochelle, we were worried you would be asleep for a week!" Bulma said. I smiled at the sight of my family. There were just the people I needed to see right now.

"Yeah well, I'm awake now. How long was I out?" I asked.

"Only the night" Tori said. Good it was only the night.

"Hey Bulma, I just want to ask Victoria something, I'll be down for breakfast in a minute."

"Okay, but hurry. I made waffles and bacon." Then Bulma left to go down stairs. It's not that I wanted her leave, I just need to tell Victoria about last night. I need someone to talk to.

"Okay, now before you start yelling questions in my face, I need to tell you something." I tell Victoria.

"Alright. Is it about last night?"

"Yeah, it is. You know what, I'll just tell you the whole story." I told her everything that happened last night, including what I saw before I blacked out.

"Whoa! So what does it mean? Are you a mermaid or what? Tori almost yelled.

"I told you, I'm not sure!" That was almost to loud, "I haven't tried anything. I just woke up you know."

"Well than what are we waiting for!" Tori grabbed my arm and dragged me into the bathroom. She turned on the water to the bathtub.

"I'm not sure about this." I could feel my tail spazzing nervously behind me. I'm never nervous about going into water, but I did not want to get into the water at all. The bathtub was finally full. Tori turned off the water and as I was about to make a run for it, she grabbed my tail. Not to hard, but it was enough to make my legs limp.

"I didn't want to have to do that." Tori picked me up and put me into the water fully clothed! Oh man when I get my hands on her.

Then the familiar feeling came over my legs. The water began to bubble and Victoria's eyes went as wide as dinner plates. I looked down at my legs to see the familiar mint green tail. There were to golden rings around where the end of my tail and fin connect. There was also a long "dorsal" fin that went all the way from the top of my tail to the fin on the back of my tail. I felt towards the top of my tail and noticed that my Saiyan tail was gone. There was a wrap around my chest. It looked to be made out of the same material my training gi is made out of and it's the color of my tail. I felt to the top of my head to see that there was a headband made out of the same color gems and one lone seashell in the middle. My hair was the same color, but much longer.

"Wow!" Tori and I said in Unison.

"This is amazing!" tori said.

"I know it is, but this is something you can't tell anyone. You have to make sure that anything from my hips down don't get wet when I'm in public. You have to promise to keep this a secret and to help protect me. Okay!"

"Okay, and I'm sorry I grabbed your tail. How about I help you out of there?"

"That would be helpful." Tori helped me out and helped me get dried off.

We went downstairs to get breakfast. I never realized that turning into a mermaid would make me so hungry. I had my plate full of waffles and bacon. After we ate, we decided that we would fly out to Mount Paozu to see the Son Family. I mean I see Gohan all the time when I'm training with him and Piccolo, but I rarely see Goten and Chi Chi.

We had been flying for about an hour or so and we finally made it to Mount Paozu. I saw Gohan throwing random punches 20 ft in the air. It was weird seeing him train when he's not in a super saiyan state. I had a feeling he didn't know we were here.

"Hey Gohan! whats up?!" I think we startled him a little. He turned around and he saw us. He was wearing his traditional Purple gi and orange shoes.

"Apparently you guys. Good to see you two again!"

We landed right next to him. I could see Gohan was happy to see us, but when he turned to me, he had a strange look on his face.

"Hey Rochelle are you alright? There is something different about your energy." I knew exactly what he was talking about, but I didn't know that being a mermaid would change my spirit energy completely.

"Oh, yeah Gohan. I'm fine. Theres nothing to worry about." I said that way to nervously.

"Why don't we go inside. It's kinda hot out here." Gohan led us inside his house.

I always loved coming here. I've known Gohan ever since I went to live with the Breifs family. The Son family is so nice. They were like my second family. I always came here if I needed someone my age to talk to. Trunks wasn't born yet so I went to Gohan. He was always the person to talk to if I needed help with my training. I went to Gohan because at the time, Vegeta would scare the living daylights out of me.

"Hi girls, I haven't seen you two in so long. You've grown so much!" Chi chi came over and gave Victoria and I a huge hug.

"It's nice to see you again to Chi chi." Victoria crocked out. Chi chi may look like a normal human, but she is insanely strong.

"It's great to see you too Chi chi, but can I use your bathroom really quickly? looks like I still have some Syrup on my hands from breakfast."

"Sure, you know you don't need to ask."

I walked off to bathroom. I went in and turned on the faucet. I tried to get the syrup off my hands then my legs went numb.

"How could I forget already!?" I frantically looked for a towel, but it was to late. I hit the floor with a thud, and I knew the whole house could hear. I scooted over to close the door and the I locked it. Then I sat back against the door.

"Dammit, how could I be so forgetful." I could hear Gohan and Victoria arguing about something. Then I heard footsteps coming my way. I started freaking out. Who was it though. Oh no! It was Gohan! He got closer to the door. Oh no!

"Hey Rochelle, are you okay in there?" I heard Gohan ask through the door. This is not good! If he opens that door, then I'm done for!

Gohan's POV

While Victoria and my Mother were catching up, I heard a thud from inside the bathroom. I also heard the door close really loudly. That startled everyone in the room. Then the door was locked.

"Hey did you two hear that, it sounded like something hit the ground hard." I stated

"No, no I didn't hear a thing!" Tori said. I knew she was lying., She sounded frantic, like she was trying to hide something.

"Well I'm going to see what's going on."

"No! I mean she'll be fine." I gave her a confused look.

Victoria stepped in front of me, her arms outstretched so I couldn't pass. Okay, this was really suspicious. I walked right passed her. I could sense the fear coming from her. What was Victoria so worked up about.

As I got closer to the bathroom, I was able to sense the change in Rochelle's energy. Only this time, it was stronger. What in Kami's name is happened in there.

"Hey Rochelle, are you okay in there?" There was a few seconds of silence.

"Uh, yeah Gohan. I'm fine, just don't open the door!" I heard her yell to me. She also sounded frantic.

I could feel from her energy that she was panicking about something. I was kind worried, her energy felt so different and now she is acting strange. I know I shouldn't, but I need to go in. I was reaching for the door handle, when the door finally opened. The room was filled with steam, to the point were you couldn't see anything.

"Hey Gohan! Where you waiting for the bathroom?" I was so confused now, her energy changed again.

"Uh, no. I was actually coming to see if you were okay. I heard a thud coming from here and..."

"Gohan, relax! I'm fine." She walked passed me to go back into the kitchen. I think she might be hiding something. But If she doesn't want to tell me yet, I will respect that.
