The next day everyone woke up with a new confidence. The day went on as normal till just after lunch when they had the assault course. Mia and Sebastian were sent of to grab their old backpacks and fill them with supplies.

After an antagonizing ten minutes the duo snuck back to the assault course with four backpacks and two tents.

"We filled then with all our old stuff and added more food, some medical supplies, a compass and a map, we also managed to grab our old clothes. It was harder to find Maddy and Sebastian's backpacks because they were more hidden." Mia told them happily.

"Ok, hide them in a Bush near the front of the forest and then when we do the map reading exercise we will go back grab the bags and then escape." Michael reminded everyone of the plan and all four of them gave a silent cheer.

After another fifteen minutes of trying, and failing, to do the assault course the signal to change exercise rang through the camp.

The officer at the start gave them a map, a compass and some instructions and then told them to go. Once they were out of site of the officer all four of them strolled through the dark green forest in the little light that got through the canopy of leaves overhead. After they had collected the bags and tents, Michael and Maddy carrying the tents, they started to walk as fast as they could out of the forest and towards the coast that was only a day's walk away, meaning they would hopefully reach the coast by midday tomorrow.

When the sun finally set, all four of them worked together to put up the tents with boys sharing one and the girls sharing the other. They had a couple of biscuits out of a backpack for dinner and settled down to listen to the endless night.

All four of them slept happily knowing that they were free.
