Let's begin.......

Sanskar and Ragini were in love for almost 3 years and they decided to get married. She was childish and he was matured. It was just 5 months for their marriage what didn't changed was their love for each other. But what happens further let's get into the story....

Ragini sees 2 lines in her pregnancy home kit test.
She picked it with shivering hands.
She feared....And the sweat formed on her forehead.
She placed her hand on her stomach.
That was not it...this was not really done with her.she was not ready for it!!

She placed her palm onto forehead that how she could be so irresponsible towards this..she should have taken some pregnancy control pills.what she gonna do further?

Sanskar knocks the door:Ragini are you fine?
He got worried since because she took so long in washroom.

Ragini got scared:haan..haan!!
Sanskar:okay then..
He moves to his reading table where he was analysing a file.

She washed her face and tried to look normal.
She didn't wanted him to have an idea of this.she just covered the kit in her dupatta.and walked out of washroom.
Sanskar sees her:what happened?
Ragini:nothing stomach hurts!
He stood and moves near her.
Ragini:no it's okay.you continue with the work!
Sanskar looks at her confused.because whenever he neared her she hugged him and wanted him beside her while sleeping.
Sanskar:what happened?i can sense something wrong!
Ragini bites her lips:i want to sleep.
Sanskar smiles and holds her shoulder she clutched the kit tightly which she hid in her dupatta:come..
He made her lay on the bed.
He was about to remove her dupatta which she always does while sleeping she keeps the dupatta away from her, if she is wearing salwar.
Ragini:no..
She holds the dupatta.
Sanskar laughs a bit:what happened to you? Why are you behaving weird?
Ragini:no..i mean.
Sanskar: it's okay.close your eyes now?
He sits near her hear and holds her one hand and pats on her forehead by the other which he does always when she doesn't get the sleep.

Ragini clutched the kit tightly.
She acted of sleeping.
Sanskar moves to the table and starts working on his file.
She opened her eyes and sees him working.
She wanted him to sleep but this day he wasn't sleeping since he was engrossed with the work he have to complete by tomorrow!!

She stood and moved towards the door.
Sanskar gets alert:Ragini.
He turns from the seat and looks at her
Ragini:i will drink water and come.
He smiles a bit:what happened to you today?you only kept the water there sometime ago!
She looks at it:oh i forgot!
Sanskar:is it hurting a lot?
She simply nods having no other idea!
Sanskar:do you want to go to doctor?
Ragini suddenly:no no...
Sanskar:then..okay take some pain killers for now.morning we will go to doctor and no arguments!
Ragini:no i am fine!
Sanskar:Ragini i told you no arguments...
Ragini:okay i will get pain killers!
She was about to move out.
Sanskar: it's here in the second drawer.you only placed it here 2 days back!
Ragini smiles a bit:oh..yeah.
He gets a call from the colleague..
So she quickly moves out.
Sanskar sees her.he picks the call,he was really suspicious on her,that she was hiding something from him!

She puts the kit inside the dustbin of the kitchen and opens fridge she need a cold water now.
Sanskar from behind:so here you are!!
Ragini turns to him being scared.
He smiles:and you think i will resist you from eating chocolates.
Ragini picks the chocolate and smiles.
Sanskar:you scared me i thought you are hiding something from me.so it was chocolates!
Ragini just smiles.

Next day...

Sanskar:as if you are saying you are fine then i am going to office you stay here okay.if you need anything then call me!
He kisses her forehead and leaves from there.
Ragini sits on the sofa confused.

Her mind:as per the plan opt the abortion!
Her heart:no..for the fear don't do this.discuss with sanskar.
Her mind:Sanskar will not let you do anything.because he loves kids,and your dream of becoming the renowned fashion designer would be incomplete.
Her heart:how it will be incomplete,you can still work carrying the little one on you womb.its your kid Ragini, your's and Sanskar's kid.you can't think of punishing the little one for your fear!
Her mind:then you will be busy and Sanskar will also busy.he would have no time for you,then his time would be divided with you and this kid!
Her heart: it's not division it's the family time,Ragini don't do something which you will regret later!

She picks up the bag and moves to her maasi Sandhya, who was a gynaecologist!
Because she heard one of her friend saying,not always such kits shows the actual report sometimes it can be wrong!

Ragini explains about the kit to Sandhya.
And she asks her to do the blood test,which gives the perfect result for the pregnancies.

Next day...

Her report comes and the results were positive.
Sandhya: congratulations dear...
But she notices that she was not happy with it.
Sandhya:did you tell didi about this?
Ragini nods in no.
Sandhya:Sanskar?
Ragini:no..maasi i don't want this kid!
Sandhya shocked:what?
Ragini:i feel I can't handle the kid at least not now!

Sandhya:but you should at least discuss with Sanskar!
Ragini:i thought about this and only you can help me.
Sandhya:Ragini.. don't be childish,do you know it's a crime.and Wait let me call Sanskar..
She was about pick her phone.
Ragini:please please maasi don't tell him.
Sandhya:but what's the problem?
Ragini:i think i am not ready for it.ek bacche ko sambhalna itna aasaan nahi hai!
Sandhya:but it's the beautiful phase.
Ragini:but I don't want the kid.i have made up my mind.
Sandhya left out a breath and gives her the water.
Ragini drinks it.
Sandhya:think again.you know what Ragini,share this with sanskar.he will have the solution.i know what you feel.even in my times i have thought the same.do you know i was studying then with my first delivery.i also thought of aborting because i thought i have too much move ahead but you know that was not the solution.your uncle supported me a lot in that times.but you see grown up Pratheek today.pratheek is 22 years now.if 22 years ago i have killed him then...
Ragini close her eyes.
Sandhya:now you you would feel it's a small cell in your womb but if you remove it no problem.but do you realise it's a life inside you.years later you would regret..you know sometimes this step will make regretting as they can never be a mother again.
Ragini looks at her.
Sandhya:even if you care.take it as a blessing.
Ragini was all silent.

Sandhya:okay come here after 2 days..and along with Sanskar,okay?
Ragini doesn't face her.
Sandhya:you should tell him..he deserves to know this!

At night..

Sanskar was serving the food to Ragini.
She was lost.
Sanskar smacks his fingers in front of her and smiles:where are you lost?from 2 days i am seeing you.you are not in this world?where did the chirpy non stop express Ragini went?do i need to give the missing complaint to police?
Ragini looks at him:Sanskar..i am pregnant!!
Sanskar for a moment looks at her and smiles broadly

Sanskar immediately hugs her:Thankyou Thankyou so much...the best gift of my life.
He kisses her forehead.
Sanskar:did you test it..
Ragini nods.
He senses something wrong:are you not happy?smile!!
Ragini smiles a bit.

Sanskar: you know i am so happy...now you have to eat double from what you..
So he serves extra 2 more roti on her plate.
She places it back.
Sanskar:Ragini...
Ragini:no it's enough..
Sanskar:okay okay then i will get the milk for you..
He smiles and caresses her cheeks!
He moves to kitchen.

He was so happy that she feared to tell him.
The happiness she saw on his face this day,she never saw it.

After sometime it was 2 in the night.

Sanskar was sleeping..
Ragini was sitting,though AC was on she was sweating.
Can she able to be a good mother keeping along her dreams?
She unknowingly cried silently.she didn't wanted Sanskar to be aware of this.
The thought in her was 'she can't be good mother.she can't handle a child.because when she can't handle herself sometimes then how can she handle a child.'
Sanskar's sleep breaks and sees her:Ragini!
She quickly wipes the tears and he turns the light on.
He could sense she was crying.
Sanskar:what happened Ragini?are you not feeling well?
And she couldn't control anymore that she bursts in bitter cry and she cries hugging him.

Sanskar:what happened Ragini?did someone say something to you?
Ragini keeps on crying in his embrace.
Sanskar slowly pulls her from the hug.and wipes her tears:what happened?why are you crying?
Ragini cries: I can't be the good mother.i don't want the child!
He left out a breath and hugs her literally rubbing her back which made her calm.
Sanskar: i know it's new for you,new for us.we are together.And who told you that you will be a good mother!
He caresses her hair who was hugging him.
Sanskar:remove this tension from your head.its our kid Ragini,the sign of our love.
She calms down and close her eyes.
Sanskar:in fact you will become the best mother.
She slowly sleeps in his embrace.

After few days...
Sanskar took Ragini to the check up everything was normal.
Ragini just then got find and started accepting it.

She quickly got from the bed and goes to washroom and vomits.
From previous day she was having the vomits.
When she felt his hand holding her arm.
She felt weak.
He washes her face and brings her out of the washroom and makes her drink water.
She hugs him and silently cries.
Sanskar hugs her back not realising that though she was accepting the pregnancy but didn't accept it completely!
If said in clear word,as a wife she accepted it for her husband but still she couldn't be a mother.

Fish,chicken and cauliflower water melon and few more of her are favourites.but after the pregnancies even if she wish too eat but couldn't.
Her mother janki stayed with her to take care of her since sanskar would be working out.Ragini's health frequently spoiled due to the mood swings!

She was on her 5th month of her pregnancy.
And she was vomiting in the washroom.
When she comes out Sanskar brings the lemon juice.
She smiles as no matter how she stressed was but Sanskar's love and care have wipes the stress away.
She drinks it.
Janki: Sanskar beta.. tomorrow morning is the scanning.
Sanskar smiles:yes mom i remember it.

Same day night....

Ragini sits on a sofa holding her small baby bump.
She caresses it when she could feel a light kick.
She smiles a bit..
When she could feel his hand on her shoulder.he was pressing her shoulders and arms.
Ragini smiles a bit:Sanskar it's okay!!
Sanskar:no how much you go through because of our naughty kid.so it's that naughty kid's dad's responsibility to do all this.
Ragini smiles.
Sanskar:and i wish we get cute daughter just like you.
Ragini smiles.
Sanskar:let me do chumpy for you.
He gets the oil and massage her head which got her relieved.
He know that she have changed but didn't take up on mind as he thought it was due to her moodswings!

Next day...

They hear the heartbeat of their kid.
Ragini smiles seeing Sanskar who smiles listening the heartbeat as the doctor made them listen it.and the doctor show the the head hands legs of the kid.

And it was her mid 7th month..

Ragini touches her bare baby bump where her stomach had the stretch marks.
And she puts dupatta and fixes it on to the blouse it was baby shower ceremony.
She moves out only to find Sanskar waiting for her.
He smiles:you know what?you never looked such beautiful and cute like today!
Ragini smiles:but i have gained 10 kg weight.
Sanskar: that's why you are looking cute and chubby.
he pulls her cheeks.and was about to her but he was stopped by the hug.
Sanskar:see someone is not letting me hug you properly.but still i can hug you.because the person inside should if you are bad then i am your dad.
She laughs and he hugs her.
And he makes her sit on the chair and adores her neck with necklace.
And she pulls her bangle.
He stops her:aahan...not that!
He keeps the box in front of her.
And he makes her wear the new pair of bangles in her hand.
He was smiling and she admires him.

Soon the function starts and many of the guests bless her.gives her the gifts.

And the day arrives when she gives birth to the little angel.

And it was the priceless moment for Sanskar,when he takes his little baby in his hands for the first time.
He brings her near Ragini.
Ragini only saw Sanskar and his smile.for her he was the most important person.
And then she looks at the baby and she smiles!

And everyone welcomes the baby and mom home.

Janki helps Ragini to feed the baby.
Which was getting difficult for the baby and even Ragini.
But Ragini gets adjusted with it.

One months passed,her mother stayed with her and taught her few things about the baby but it was still difficult for her.
And it was the challenging day for Ragini..since her mother left.

Ragini picks up the baby as she cries after she wakes up and she tries to console her but she couldn't control her.
And maid helps her due to Baby Rithika gets silent!

After sometime..

Ragini was doing a outfit design in her book when Rithika starts crying.
She moves to her and tries to console her.but she couldn't.

And Sanskar comes from office he keeps his bag aside:kya hua mere bacche ko?
He takes the baby from her and walks playing with her.she was all calm now.
Ragini looks on, automatically tears rolls down her cheeks.she was hurt about something.

Night Ragini breastfeeds the baby and she was not in the mood and again baby starts crying.
Ragini:chup ho ja please chup ho ja...ah I can't!!
Sanskar who entered the room: Ragini..why are you saying like that?she is just a baby.
He takes the baby from her and she gets calm.sanskar smiles and talks with her

Few days passed like this..

Ragini couldn't have her own time,neither she could pay attention to her designs nor she could do any other things...

Night.

Rithika starts crying.
Ragini ignores her for a moment.she wanted the sleep.
When she wakes and finds Sanskar already attending the baby!
Sanskar smiles :you sleep i will manage her.
Ragini looks on.
Sanskar:i told you right..sleep!!
Ragini:are you taunting me?
He looks at her:why would i do that?
And she was crying.
He sits next to her holding the baby:Raginiii.....i know it's not easy to manage Rithika.whole day you were behind her.let me do the night duty for her.
He smiles:why are you crying for such simple thing?

When Ragini holds his arm and places her head on to his shoulder.
Sanskar:baby see your mumma she became the cry baby more than you.
Ragini: I can't sanskar.it's getting difficult with days passing.
Sanskar:you know what's the problem?
Ragini looks at him.
Sanskar:you have become a mother but tum dil se maa nahi bani ho.
She felt hurt,thought he told it to understand but it hurt her.
Sanskar:and you will face these difficulties until you will not accept it from heart!
And he places sleeping Rithika in the cradle.
She was silently crying.

Sanskar sees her:what happened now?
Ragini:you mean that i don't do anything for her right!
Sanskar:when did i say that?
Ragini: that's what you meant..right.
She cries wiping the unstoppable hot tears.
He kneels in front of her: I didn't say it till now because i knew you would take me wrong. And i can't even imagine myself in your situation.that's why a father and a mother has the huge difference!
She looks at him.
Sanskar:But i feel you would not feel difficulties like this if you accept her.
Ragini:i am doing everything which i can do...
Sanskar:see you again took me wrong.
She cries: I don't want to talk about this!
Sanskar:okay..
He left out a breath!

Some more days passed like this....

Ragini was doing the outfit designs on the book when Rithika cries. And Ragini gets frustrated.
She moves to her and picks her and she can't make her calm.
Ragini too cries:what should i do to you now? You have removed my peace from me.i can't handle you.please...
Sanskar who was outside attending the call comes there listening her shout.
He takes the baby from her :Ragini....how many times i told you not to shout at her.she is a kid damn..how would she understand.i don't when will be the day you will understand it.
Sanskar could feel the hotness and Rithika was burning with fever:before shouting.at least you could have checked what is happening to her..(he huffs)with whom i am talking?with that that mother who is not accepting her own kid?
He takes carrycot and places rithika on it and moves out and goes.
Ragini looks on with tears.Sanskar have never shouted on her.and she breaks down in to bitter cry!!

After sometime..

Sanskar returns with the baby after taking a treatment.and now rithika was fine.
He places sleeping Rithika on cradle.
He left out a breath.Yes,he reacted on Ragini but the situation made him to.
He calls her:Ragini..
He felt fishy and he looks around the home.she was no where around and looks at the washroom.
She was not present there too.

Sanskar bit loudly:Ragini..
He moves out.
And a lady from neighbor comes listening his shout:Sanskar.
He looks at her.
Lady:i saw Ragini going somewhere at this night.i called her too but she didn't turn.

He takes his phone and call her but she doesn't pick the call.
He calls his father-in-law Shekhar!
He picks the call:hello sanskar...
Sanskar:papa did Ragini came there?
Shekhar:Ragini,no?
Sanskar gets worried.
Janki too comes.
Sanskar explains him whatever happened.
When bell rings.
Janki opens the door and finds Ragini who was in tears!
Janki:Ragini..what are you doing here at this night?
Ragini:if you also don't want me then i will go.
Sanskar got relieved for the moment because for a moment he got negative thoughts in his mind.

Janki:why are you saying like that?this is your home and you can come here anytime..
Ragini directly enters inside and locks herself in the room.

Shekhar tells him to let her stay here today and they will make her understand.

Sanskar moves near his reading table and finds a stick note there."I am not a perfect mother"
He sits there.

Next morning..
Sanskar wakes up listening Rithika's cries.
He moves to her and picks her.
And places in carry pot.
And he moves to kitchen and places rithika there.
He boils the milk.
She was continuously cried though he tried to calm her.

While Ragini who slept near the door wakes up forgetting that she was in her father's home.
Ragini:why Rithika didn't wake up till now?
She was about to stand when she realises that she have left the home.
She heard the knock.

She opens the door to find her mother.
Janki:get fresh.. breakfast is ready!

While here Sanskar feeds milk to Rithika.

2 days passed...
It was getting difficult for Sanskar to handle rithika along with is work.
He assigned to do the work in home but he couldn't due to Rithika.
It was getting difficult and difficult for him, to get her bathed, to get her cleaned and making her diapers. Feeding her and making her sleep, that was the biggest task of all.
And it was valid for her that getting angry,and he made up his mind what to do next?

Here Ragini was not happy, ever second after few minutes her mind travelled on to Rithika. She felt rithika was next to her. In some times she could feel rithika is still in her womb. Sometimes she could feel like she is listening her cries.sometimes thinks if feeding her but realises she is not here with her. It was that she started missing and craving for her baby. Besides all this after she came here, Sanskar didn't call her once.
When she could feel her mother's hand on her shoulder.
She looks at her and wipes her tears.

Janki:missing your family?
Ragini looks at her.
Janki: what happened?
Ragini cries silently turning her face.
Janki:you know i also felt difficult when you were kid.but I didn't left you like that.i know what's your problem,Sanskar who didn't scold you till now he scolded you because of Rithika.isnt it?
Ragini looks at her.

Janki:let me ask you a question,how much your dad loves you?
Ragini remembers during her bidaai shekhar cried silently like a baby.he got hurt when she was hurt.when her mood was not right even his mood was off!
Ragini:he loves me so much.
Janki:but frankly asking you,if it is compared who shekhar loves the most you or me?
Ragini looks at her:you Mom,though he fights with you sometimes...
She stops.
Janki:did you get the answer?
Ragini gets silent!

Janki:and the kid,if you take mother as being a job then you can't be a mother but an worst employee of some company of being mom. And these tears in your eyes shows how much you are craving for your kid.you know no mother in the world is perfect but she is perfect mother for her child.the every silly mistake a mother does becomes a new experiment for her child.she will love what you do.and how much love you will shower to your kid,she will return you back.i also felt tired of you so many sleepless nights when you were kid,but trust me if i remember it i smile now,because it's the beautiful phase of my life where i got to know how it is to be a Mom,Being Mom, it's a circus once i started enjoy everything was joyful.one moment i became singer for you,even my worst voice was lata mangeshkar's voice for you. next moment i became a joker for you and in next moment i became a cook for you.i have never cooked anything until then,see you at least know that but me,i didn't knew that.i became a doctor,without a degree.teacher,without training.sports trainee,i was worst at.actor,always played a plant in school dramas but you helped me to discover an inner actor in me.dancer, I didn't knew the D of dance but i became for you when insisted,i became a kid along with you and overall i became an artist for you.
Ragini smiles a bit.
Janki:and above all that, i discovered myself more about me.i could work more perfectly after i joined again to the MNC. I used to make doubly sure for everything i made.because you taught me that. I became imperfectly perfect because of you!
Ragini smiles.

Janki:and in all that Shekhar was possessive about you.though he scolded me sometimes for antics but he did care for me and supported me.
Ragini remembers Sanskar always waked up for Rithika.sometimes he used take her out do he sleep doesn't get disturbed.
When she slept tired but when woke up she found comfort on her.sometimes he combed her hair.he pressed her legs.gave her chumpy sometimes.
He also changed after Rithika entered.

And later.
Ragini sleeping in the sitting position in the sofa.when she heard the bell!
She wakes up and moves and opens the door but doesn't find anyone.
She was about to turn when she found Rithika in the carrycot!
Rithik was smiling and playing.
She smiles.

She knows Sanskar,was around.she stood like that for sometime.but still sanskar didn't come.
And seeing Rithika's smile she couldn't control herself and she picks her:baccha!!
She smiles.
And she laughs a bit. And she sees a note on carry cot and takes it.
"Let's be the crazy parents for Rithika"
Ragini smiles

She moves inside.

While Sanskar remembers meeting Sandhya who informed him about Prepartum and Postpartum depressions.
And what he could do is give more attention to her and support her.
He was standing behind a wall.

She hugs Rithika,she literally craved for her.
And rithika sleeps holding her chain.
Ragini smiles.

Sanskar was standing supporting on to the door:chale?
She turns to him.
Sanskar:to our home.because home isn't home without Rithika's mom!
Ragini smiles.
Sanskar:and i am sorry i shouldn't have shouted at you like that.and i should have understood you.
Ragini:and i am sorry too because I couldn't really take care of her you were busy with your work and i...
He moves to her and interrupts: let's start the new journey.
Ragini smiles and nods.
He hugs her and kisses her forehead.

And they moved back to the home.

Though she felt the difficulties but with Sanskar's constant support she could do it.

Ragini was doing her designs when Rithika cries.she smiles this times and closes the book and moves to her when Sanskar attends rithika:you do your designs i will see her...hai na baby.
He smiles at Rithika.
Ragini smiles.
He helped her to bath Rithika and to feed rithika.
He helped her to over come from the depression.

Ragini was sliding the feeds on her mobile when Rithika wakes and was paying on herself.
Ragini smiles and moves to her keeping her mobile aside:mera baccha!
She picks and plays with her.

And it was then an years passed.
Ragini comes out of the kitchen bringing the food for Rithika and finds rithika filled with colours.
She smiles seeing her daughter she keeps the food on table and moves to her.
And she dips her hand on colours and prints it on wall.
Rithika claps.
Sanskar from behind: what's happening here?
Ragini sees him:painting the wall!
Sanskar smiles:without me?so bad!
And they together makes family hand print.

Ragini forwards the diary.
A girl who was tears picks it:what is this?
Ragini:your mother's time of being mom.
It was Rithika who was also going through the Postpartum depression.
Ragini smiles:you know when a girl marries, her life becomes different though she is ready but becomes nervous at this stage. And being a mom i can help you this much. My mom helped me in such situations. I am helping my daughter how it is to be a Mom and it can help you to be imperfectly perfect mom for your kid!
Rithika hugs her.

Sanskar enters: what's going on here?
Ragini:Being Mom training!
Sanskar smiles and their Son-in-law comes there.
Sanskar: it's not only Being Mom, it's Being Dad and Being a Parent!
They smiles.....

Once i had written 10 thousand+ words os on this concept but it got deleted.
Since it was requested one i had to write it again and trust me this is really different from what i have written early!

I know it's worst.because i have no idea about such things.since i saw my sister in prepartum depression i could write a little.
