Ryuu slowly open his eyes. It's morning, time to get ready for work! To some people, days like these are boring. But to Ryuu, this is his happiness, his hobby and his clue. What clue, you ask? The clue to find the girl of that fateful day. Sure, Ryuu maybe don't believe in fate. But this time, he relies on fate to find that girl. Rin is her name, he remembers. The bracelet she gave him is simple, it isn't beautiful like others, but Ryuu treasure it more than anything else. The reason he tries this far? I'm not sure. Maybe because it was his dream, maybe because his mother like it, maybe because he took a liking in it for a long time, maybe because he wants to cure, to make, to learn more about herbs. Or even maybe because he wants to find Rin. We don't know it yet, he is so shy, he distance himself from people. Now I wonder how did Ryuu and chief Garack met. But that's for an another story, on an another time.

The door opens gently, accidentally snaps Ryuu out of his mind. He turns to the door, only to see Shirayuki. But she said nothing. Shirayuki approach the window, gently opens it, letting the sunshine get in and light up the room.

"Ryuu? What's wrong?" She asks worryingly.

There was no answer. 'It' suddenly came. At the corner of his eyes, there are tears coming out of it. He is crying. He doesn't know why he cried. It happens like this every year. Why? He always questions himself. Ah. I get it now. It's easy. Today is the day she left him. It just happened 3 years ago, before Shirayuki even appear in Clarines. His mother left him. She is on a very far island, people calls it 'heaven'. He cried, yes. But he's not alone. Chief Garack is there with him, same with Yatsufusa, her assistant. Little did he know, 'she' was in the same situation. But let's get back to the story.

"I'm...fine, Shirayuki..."
"You aren't...tell me what happened."
"It just my flashback..."
"Ok..."

Before things get not awkward, he interrupt their conversation with a playful yet caring voice.

"Hey! What are you guys talking about? Why are you crying, Ryuu? Did you just cut a lot of onions?!"

Yes, him. Obi. Well it can't be help. It's kind of like his routine to visit them in the morning.

"I'm ok. You don't need to be worry." Ryuu smiles.

It was peaceful until chief Garack interrupt. The door opens violently, well not so violent, but it was strong. She looks very disappointed. What's wrong?

"Ryuu, Shirayuki. We need to talk. Meet me in my office." She said.
