Rajmata

I quickly put the veil in my head while Muskan hide behind Maharaj she is very scared of Rajmata so am I!!

"Nothing Rajmata we were just talking" Maharaj said

Rajmata nodded her eyes landed on me and she angrily said "What is this bindani? Why are you in these clothes don't you know you should be ready by 5?"

"Sorry Rajmata I woke a bit late today don't worry I ll do everything" I said

"This behaviour is unacceptable you are the queen of our kingdom how can be you so careless? Punctuality is extremely important and you were late so you will not have your breakfast today" Rajmata said

"Rajmata she was late because of me I came late yesterday so...." Maharaj defended me

"Don't defend him son. It's the queen responsibility even if she didn't sleep yesterday she needs to be on time in the morning she was serving you that's good that's the duty of wife but she is also the queen if she can't perform both the duties well than she will be punished and this is our matter don't interfere " Rajmata said and left

"I am sorry it's because of me.." Maharaj said

"It's okay Maharaj it's not your fault " I said and he sadly smiled

Even though he is the king in this house only Rajmata orders even Pita ji agrees to him. That's how royalty is it's not easy.

"Maa sa why is Rajmata so bad" Muskan asked

"Shh don't say like that she is not bad" I said

"But she is see today only she scolded you without any reason and also punished you she is very bad" Muskan said

"Muskan this is not the way you speak she is our Rajmata respect her and for now go and quickly have a bath chalo go fast" I said

"Okay Maa sa " she said and ran upstairs.

I sighed and looked at Maharaj , he smirked and said

"Since you don't have to eat breakfast what about a morning round?"

"Maharaj you are so shameless I don't have to eat breakfast but I have to prepare and already I am very late I need to freshen up quickly and make the breakfast for all otherwise Rajmata will again be angry" I said

There are a lot of people who live in the mahal the courtiers soldiers their family every one but they live in a different wing in our wing only family members live. And Rajmata don't like any servant inside the kitchen so only me and Rajmata enter the kitchen and prepare the meal. There are helpers but there is a division in the kitchen they only enter their selected region and do works like washing utensils chopping vegetables etc but the main cooking is done by me and Rajmata.

"So you are denying your husband" Maharaj said crossing his arms

"Maharaj right now I have other works I need to prepare the breakfast" I said

"Okay go but I won't leave you at the night" he said

I nodded and went upstairs. I quickly freshen up as a queen you always need to be dressed up even at home . There are maids who style me but I feel it would be better if I could keep it simple but as per Rajmata words

'A kingdom s prosperity is known by how a queeen dresses richer the kingdom glamorous the queen'

I just feel it's a show off and more that it's uncomfortable but I can't help. I was almost ready I kept my hair open to save time I thanked the maids and saw the time it was 7 every one have their breakfast at 9 today's puja was done my Rajmata so I straight away went in the kitchen.

"Good morning Rasoiya what is the list for today" I said

"Rani sa rajmata did t send any list today" he said

"Accha okay I ll ask her you do one thing kneed the dough" I said

I prepared coffee for Rajmata and tea for Maharaj.

I knocked her door and enter. She was massaging pita ji s leg. Seeing me Pita ji got up I quickly touched his feet.

"Stay blessed" he said

I smiled and gave him his coffee cup and he left the room and went to the garden.

Rajmata laid on the bed. I knew what I had to do I gave her the coffee cup and started massaging her legs.

"You have started controlling my son today for the first time he spoke against me don't try to create distance between us" she said

"I am sorry Rajmata it won't happen again" I said

"Hmm so today prepare jhoola Puri kheer and Upma" she said

"Ji Rajmata" I said and left the room.

I entered the Maharaj s room . Maharaj was in warrior dress he practice sword fight every day but he was again scolding my poor son.

"Arjun I reminded you yesterday also you are going to be a king start taking responsibility why were you 5 mins late" Maharaj said

"I am sorry pitaji it won't happen again I promise" my son said looking down

"Go at the ground and before I come your 10 rounds must be complete" Maharaj said

"Ji pitaji" he said and came towards the exit he saw me and smiled and touched my feet and said "Suprabht Maa sa"

"Suprabht you ll have milk today?" I said

"No I ll have green tea like pita ji" he said

I smiled and nodded and he left, Arjun always wanted to be like his father.

"Pita ji even I want to learn sword fighting and became a fighter" Muskan came from nowhere and said

"Why not every girl must learn self defence it's very important" I said

"You also know sword fighting Maa sa?" Muskan asked

"Yes she is very good at him she can even beat me in this " Maharaj said

I shake my head and served him his green tea.

"Muskan go and change your dress and go to the ground and run 2 laps I ll come soon" Maharaj said

"Muskan wear a black coat and change your pad and if you stomach starts paining then come back" I said

"Okay Maa sa" she said and left

"Take my coat out I ll take a call and come" Maharaj said and left

In present time we don't have war but still being from a royal family we all need to learn these. There are various competitions as well . In terms of women empowerment our kingdom is always one even in past we were the only kingdom which had female soldiers I never understood if 50 percent of population is not in army then how can it be strong ? we were had strongest and largest army even now we have female guards minister etc. And now we have even included transgender's and other sexes as well. Our minister cabinet has ministers from all castle , religion, gender , race, colour it is diverse yet united. We have been ruling from past 50 years and progressing every now and then. From use of high technology to allowing same sex marriage and respecting lgbtq community to using renewable energy we are changing socially economically politically and environmentally. A progressive thinking along with proper execution is what make our kingdom great. But this doesn't mean we don't have flaws. We are sexist as well in order to be a queen of royal family you need to learn cooking all daily chores as well as swords fighting sati is still practice and lot more but we are still better than others.

"Amrita Amrita where were you lost" I heard Maharaj voice

"Oh nothing was just thinking about our great kingdom" I said

"Just kingdom not the king" he said

"Maharaj aren't you getting late? Take your coat and leave and don't trouble my poor son" I said

"As you wish mam" he said

I laughed and left to the kitchen. The meal was prepared 15 mins were left so I went to Aradhna s room.

My darling princess was sleeping the entire room was a mess. Filled with book here and there.

"Aradhna wake up princess it's morning" I said

"2 mins more Maa sa" Aradhna said in a sleepy voice

"Aradhna you have your exam today don't you want to revise" I said

"Oh yes Maa sa I have an exam I am so scared" she woke up quickly and said

I engulfed her in a hug and then made her lie on my lap. I stroke her hair and said

"Why are you being scared you have prepared well just be positive and give the test okay?" I said

"Okay Maa sa" she said and went to bath.

I sighed and went down there will be puja after 10 mins. There are two pujas in the first only the women of the house do it and then the main one where everyone is present. Before having the puja no one eats the breakfast. I should have woken up Aradhna faster.

"Maa sa" Muskan said and suddenly hugged me

I smiled at her excitement and asked "what happened Muskan?"

"Maa sa I won from Pita ji and bhai sa I am stronger than them" Muskan said

"Wow that's great now chalo go fast and get ready and come down for the puja" I said

She nodded and left. Arjun and Maharaj also came.

"Arjun go fast and change and you also Maharaj"I said

"Okay btw your kids made me tired a lot can you pls use the magic in your hand and make my muscles a bit relaxed" Maharaj said

"I ll do everything but after the puja now pls go fast Rajmata will be angry if you all come late" I said

Maharaj nodded and left, I too started preparing for the puja, luckily every one came on time and puja was done successfully. All sat while I served the food.

"Aradhna All the best for your exams are you prepared?" Pitaji asked

"Ji Dadaji I am prepared and thanks for your wish" Aradhna said looking down

"Don't you know a princess always look up be confident Aradhna this won't work" Rajmata said

"Ji Rajmata" Aradhna said looking up scaredly

"I have something important to announce" Maharaj said

"We have decided in order to make strong relations with our professional office we are arranging a marriage between our kids and our CEO s kids so that we have the ultimate power in our hands beside he is my great friend and with the increase in number of Muslims in our Kindom it will also be beneficial for social customs. After the kids grow up they will marry each other" Maharaj said

How can he take such a big decision without even consulting me, I was so angry that I just wanted to leave the hall but that won't be tolerated in a Royal family so I controlled myself.

"I am okay with the decision you will go along with all of us today itself and sign the union paper" Pitaji said

"Ji Pitaji umm Pitaji I have to go for a trip to Italy on Monday so after signing the pact I ll take the kids to picnic for 2 days if you don't mind" Maharaj asked

"You may me and your Rajmata would however return back to the palace" Pitaji said

"My apologies Swami but if you could consider our going with them as well it would be very kind of you" Rajmata said

"No" Muskan said and then ran away

"My apologies I ll handle her I am very sorry on her behalf" I said and immediately left

"From when did you start disobeying me when I said no then it means no no more discussion" Pitaji said and left.

I know the chaps are boring but I wanted to give a rough idea of this story and family. In the next few chaps they ll meet and there will be some childhood romance followed by the actual story.

The first 4-5 chaps won't have any love story it will begin after that.
