That moron had the guts to lay his hands on my wife. My Ananya. He doesn't know how painful his end is going to be. I paced around the open space outside the staff quarters. I saw Hemant walking out of the quarters, ''How is Balwant''

''He is find Hukum and very annoyed. He isn't ready to rest . He wants to come with us. '' I was about to speak when Balwant walked out, ''If you leave me behind I will kill myself. I want to kill him. Please Hukum'' I just stared at the man who is a friend too, Since the day I handed him the duty of Ananya's chief guard , he had performed his duty religiously . From the moment he has been brought here in injured condition he had been ranting to go back and kill Brijesh. I held him by shoulders, ''You are injured, you need rest''

''No, Princess risked herself for me, I just can't sit back and rest. I want to watch him die. '' Hemant rubbed his forehead in frustration. I stared at Balwant, I know he meant every word he said. Giving up I nodded. ''Hukum, Rajshri is here''

''If she wasn't princess and your guest , I would have murdered her long back. '' My staff looksangrier than I am. Ananya is their Queen and anyone who harms her becomes their enemy. This not because I married her, its because she made that place in their hearts. ''get ready, while I deal with her''

"What brings you here Rajshri'' I seriously despise this venomous female. She looked at me and her eyes sparkled with lust, ''I heard about Ananya missing. trust me I felt so bad but then someone send me this and I realised she left you. '' I glared at her furiously. Had she not been standing on my soil, I would have killed her speaking against Ananya''

''Get out'' With that I turned to leave.

'Had I been bluffing with you, you wouldn't be alive by now. You left too many proofs in that room''. Ananya's voice halted my steps. It appeared as if she was happy to leave me. "I hope now you know her reality'' Rajshri purred. My hand grabbed the nearest object and I smashed it on the floor. ''I knew she was a gold digger, she never loved you. '' She spoke again and my hand punched the glass door of an antique cabinet. Glass pieces were all over the room and just then I heard the sound of gun being loaded. ''Hemant no'' Hemant held the gun at Rajshir's head , ''Let go Hukum, she deserves to die. I will happily go to the prison '' It took me lot of strength to pull him back as Rajshri trembled visibly shocked.

''Stop right there Hemant, its an order'' Dad , King Griraj Singh walked in and Hemant froze. He glared at Hemant and then his eyes went to Rajshri. ''Till we solve this , you will be our royal guest'' Rajshri grinned happily and the dad's eyes went to Hemant, ''Make sure no one knows that Princess Rajshri visited us. Erase all footage and records Hemant. '' The smile that dawned Rajshri's lips vanished as Hemant watched her with a smirk. ''You are keeping me as a captive''

''Yes we are, now move before I allow Hemant to go ahead with his plans'' Dad warned , she gulped and stepped out as two female guards grabbed her. Dad turned to me, ''Granny wants to see you and now.'' I wanted to protest , each minute was precious. I wanted to find her .For now I just wanted to see her once and shake her mad to put some brains into her. Just once. ''Each minute is precious Ranvijay, go see your granny now and I will make sure no one knows Ananya is missing .'' Nodding I left the room

"you really thought she will betray you.'' Granny sounded furious, she has all the rights in the world. For a moment my mind did distrust my Ananya and I was furious with myself. ''She left her diary on the bed intentionally for you to read. It had all you should know , she knew something is coming and she wanted all of us to be ready. '' I nodded like a culprit. Granny pulled out a paper, ''here, about his mole in the Palace. We have had him captured last night. I am glad Brijesh wasn't intelligent enough to hurt anyone till date.'' Do you have Ananya's whereabouts?

I nodded, she still had her pendant on. I am glad for that. Granny moved to her table and pulled out a map. ''I know you have the way, still this is the route to that place. ''I was amazed , the place no one knew off . How did granny managed to get details of it. ''Now close your mouth. Ananya doubted someone was using the tunnel which we believed to be sealed. She investigated it and she never hid a single thing from me. I gave Ananya the permission to open brijesh's suite. Could you believe, he kept visiting Palace and his suite , hiding his secrets here. This map must be a gift from his vile father. Ananya made a copy'' She banged her fist on the table as her anger echoed the room . ''We could have never found this if for her. My ananya '' Granny said proudly , turning her angry eyes at me she added, ''We were just waiting for Raksha to leave and he attacked before we expected. '' My anger for Brijesh and love for Ananya went up by many folds. ''Now stop bobbling your head and get to work .'' I nodded and turned to leave, when her voice halted my steps, ''Ranvijay, don't leave anything behind. Finish it once for all'' I turned round completely to face her, the grandmother who loved Brijesh was gone, In front of me stood the Royal Queen who had no emotions when it came to protect her own. Turning away she dismissed me. I watched her back as she supported her body with her hands on the table her experienced shoulders shaking a bit. I knew, she was shedding the tears for her rouge grandson brijesh , he daughter's last remembrance. Whose , death orders she just passed.

''Just let me kill him Hukum. I beg you'' Balwant has been ranting since we got into the vehicle. I don't know what my guards are upto. They look like hungry wolves ready to rip the enemy apart. Leaning back I closed my eyes, I just hope she is fine and brijesh kept his hands off her. I smiled remembering the way Granny reprimanded me for doubting 'Her Ananya. ' I didn't doubt her, I never can. But I was furious at her for putting herself up at stake. Let me just get her back and then I am going to punish her for putting us through this separation.

''Are we on a right direction Hukum. Its all dead around. '' Hemant's words pulled me out of my thoughts. My eyes went to the screen of my phone. ''Yes we are'' Another 30 minutes we realized we lost our connectivity . This means he has secured the place through network jammers, but not strong enough .I handed the map to Hemant and he grinned cynically. Brijesh will definitely meet the worse of the end.

This has been my longest drive, each passing second seemed like a year. The surroundings had turned dark and zero habitat adds to the darkness. If I am right it will take me another hour to reach the hide out. ''hemant just halt here, we better walk. I don't want him to see the fleet of vehicles''

''Don't you worry Hukum, even if he spots the front one. He will welcome us readily. Its Rajshri's SUV.'' I threw my head back and laughed watching the proud grin on my man Friday's face. We turned the lights of tailing vehicles off as they followed the one ahead maintaining a steady speed. We left the vehicles at safe distance and stepped out. Balwant decided to cover the back door and hemant accompanied me to the front. The small Palace looked like a haunted house. It was indeed a dangerous place. Now it was about entering the place without putting a doubt. It was Hemant who knocked the large doors as other hid in the shadows of dark. The man opened a small peep hole trying to recognize the face and next moment someone slit his throat. The doors were pulled open and I was greeted by a female figure who stood with her face in the veil. ''The highest tower, Princess is waiting for you''

My eyes tried recognizing the girl when she lifted her veil of. Hemant stepped back, she was his sister Hansa who was supposed to be in Delhi for a job. Raising a finger at her I warned, ''I will deal with you later'' The girl smile mischievously before leading the way, ''there are 7 of us here Hukum. My friend will lead the way, while I finish some more.'' Hemant stared at his younger sibling with his mouth hung wide open. She lifted her chin proudly hitting her brother with her shoulder strongly. We all were clueless about her and the presence of others here. It was definitely a part of granny's plan. Hansa unlocked the back door letting Balwant and the other men in. Another girl of merely 20 appeared and directed us towards a stone curved staircase. There was a commotion when one of the men spotted us. He lunged towards me with a dagger and I shot him without wasting a minute. The gunshot brought lot of commotion, as we moved to the porch of the first floor we had to face the resistance but it took just a minute to kill it because in the group of attackers 2 were turned out to be supporters. That makes it to 4, I wonder where are the other 3.

By the time I reached the top floor, I was alone my men were busy tackling the Brijesh's men. Hey were taken by surprise as they didn't expect so many moles among them. As mentioned by Hansa I stood infont of the door which separated me from my life. My Anu. The anger in me took over as I kicked the door hard. On the other side , Brijesh looked at me dumb found and then came her voice. ''And this is what I call , check mate. '' I smirked as she knocked Brijesh's king of the chess board. She took proud steps to me with a smile, ''Just in time Prince'' Throwing her arms around my neck she pulled my lips over hers kissing me hungrily. ''I missed you'' and I was looking forward to punish this little tramp. I practically visualised my ager jumping out of the window.

''You betrayed me'' Brijesh held his gun at us as Ananya kissed me again caring less. She pulled my cheek and turned. ''You really believe that gun of yours to have bullets, after what you just saw. '' Brijesh banged his gun down and it landed near our feet, she lifted it up, ''Your problem is you trust the wrong ones. How am I supposed to get hold of something which is in your pocket. This is loaded. '' I laughed and she turned to me, ''All yours. '' She walked back to the rocking chair as I grabbed Brijesh by throat. He gasped for breath, ''I won't make it easy brother. I will punish you among the ones who fear you. So they know the consequences of crossing my path.'' I dragged him through the stairs as his body kept colliding with the hard stone walls. For years I cared for this man like a brother and he backstabbed me not once but many times. I recalled all for it fuelling my anger. Walking to the main hall I threw him harshly on the floor as he coughed to gain some air. My men smiled wide bowing once to Ananya. ''You aren't playing fair big bro''

''You don't deserve fair'' I answered . She laughed throwing his head back, ''Do you know your wife begged me to take her'' and then he screamed as Balwant slashed his arm. I gestured him to move back . Walking to him I squatted down to his level and grabbed his face, ''Fight like a man. Atleast now when you have no escape.''

He started breathing hard his eyes glaring at Ananya. ''You led him here'' She calmly took the chair and crossed her legs, ''No, the map you left back led him to you. Now enjoy the party'' Ananya got up and Hansa was by her side next moment. She whispered something in Ananya's ear and she gave a single nod. ''When you done with him Ranvijay, there is someone who would want to kill him. Please, let that person do the honours'' Nodding once I gestured Hansa to take Ananya out of that room. I didn't wanted to see the animal in me. My fist came in contact with his jaw and he coughed blood on the carpet.  

I challenged him and he got up. He always had this urge to put me down. I could see me snarling , hatred dripping his eyes. Screaming he threw a fist at me which I blocked easily pushing him back. I wanted to give him a fair chance. He attacked again and I easily over powered him. My men laughed making him burn in humiliation. He hurled curses at my family, which was his too. He attacked and I ducked. He picked up the metal vase throwing it on me, I grabbed it hitting him hard with it, ''You knew you never had a chance. You should have left us alone. Your time is up''

I grabbed his arm and twisted backwards hard. He tried to fight and my foot came on his chest pinning him down. Using all my strength I broke it from the shoulder. He grunted in pain as I went to repeat the same with the other. ''This for Raksha, who loved and trusted you unconditionally '' 

He groaned in pain as I banged his head hard on the hard floor. "even If you kill Me, I still will be a winner. Veer will never see his wife again. She will mother a bastard child and your name will be ruined" I turned pale. Did I make a mistake letting Deepika go? He laughed and I lost my sanity. Like a sadist I enjoyed breaking every part of his body. His screams seemed to sooth my inner demon. I watched him withering in pain as he lay there in his own pool of blood , all broken.

Hansa walked in with a limping female figure. The woman had his her face with the veil as she held the corner of her cloth by her teeth. She stared at his lifeless body and limped in speed to the wall . she grabbed an axe from there , walking to were Brijesh lay all worn out. With a shrill scream she chopped his head off his body, falling next to him. Hansa helped her up, her veil went off and I realised she had half of her face burned. She was one of those whose life he destroyed , it seems he butchered her family because she refused his advances. He held her captive and tortured her daily. No one else deserved to kill him other than her.

There was silence all around , we had tied and locked Brijesh's men. Most of them were wanted criminals. We decided to leave in morning as it was pitch dark.

Ananya Sat next to me with her head on my shoulder. We both were worried about same thing. Veer and Deepika
