Third-person POV:

Jade woke up, she had a headache, and was nauseous.

"Damn it," she cussed, touching her head.

She grab the phone and pressed the button for calling the room service.

"Can you come and clean my room?" she asked, "no, I don't care I want to see how they clean" she sighed, "sure, I'll eat something at the restaurant, thanks" she got up from the bed.

She put on some new clothes, brushed her teeth and got out of the room.

She was in the hallway when she crashed with someone.

"Sorry, I wasn't watching," she apologized.

"We seriously need to stop encountering like that," he chuckled, they looked at each other, "holy shit, Jade, what happened to you?" he asked worried.

"What are you doing here?" she asked bluntly.

"Well, I'm staying in this hotel" he chuckled softly, "would you like to have breakfast with me?"

"Derek, I'm with the worst hangover ever, I don't want to talk" she answered.

"Hangover? What they did to you?" he asked.

"No offense, but it's not something different that what you did," she replied sad.

"I'm sorry, Jade" he sighed, "wanna talk about it?" he asked, with a sincere smile.

"Sure, let's see if you still are a great counselor" she replied, they started to walk to the restaurant.

"I'm paying, by the way," he answered.

"Derek, this is my hotel, I don't pay" she chuckled softly.

"Oh, yeah right" he scratched the back of his neck, and smiled at her.

They arrived and ate, they left the place.

Derek offered Jade to walk her to her room, where they could talk peacefully.

"I'm an idiot, Derek," she said, sitting in her clean bed.

"You aren't an idiot" he said, sitting beside her, "tell me what happened"

"I'm in love with that girl" she said, "but she is in love with my father's money"

"How you know that?" he asked, concerned.

"Because she has never told me that she loves me" she leaned on Derek's shoulder, "I always feel like if she wants me, but she doesn't love me"

"Well, you have been my only girlfriend, Jade" he started, "I don't have too much experience" he took her hand, "but there is a large line between the desire and the love"

"I heard the conversation, Derek" she sighed, "they think I'm stupid, and zero percent valuable" a tear ran across her cheek, "they only care about me for their stupid karate war"

"Jade, you are amazing and beautiful" he wiped the tear from her cheek, "you deserve everything, and you truly deserve someone who gives everything from them to you" 

"I'm smoking, Derek" she cried, attacking his chest "I promised that I will never do it, but I'm doing it" she hugged him tightly.

"I know, Jade," he answered, hugging her back, "I know that it isn't easy" he kissed her forehead, "I know that you will solve everything" he parted a bit from Jade, and with the index where he had the ring took her chin, making that she looked at him, "because I know what kind of strong independent woman you are" he smiled at her.

"But not even you that know all of that, you weren't loyal to me" she sadly said, sobbing.

"Jade I wanted to tell you something" he caressed her cheek, "I want to tell you the truth about that"

"What is it?" she looked at him in the eye, green against honey.

"I didn't cheat on you because your father offered me money," he sighed, taking her hand, "I did it because he threatened me" 

"What do you mean?" she stopped sobbing.

"He told me that if I didn't break up with you in the worst way, he would make that my name never see the light" he caressed her hand, "I was a scared 15-year-old boy, now I realize my mistake" 

"What the hell does Terrence think he is?" her words were full of venom.

"It's okay, Jade" he calmed her down, "I have no hard feelings against him"

"You totally should!" she exclaimed.

"Life is so short for having resentments" he caressed her cheek, "well, there is one thing that even if I try, I haven't been able to forgive him about" 

"What is it? The constant fear that he implanted in you?"

"No" he chuckled, "it's the fact that he forbid me from continue by your side" he looked straight in her green eyes, "I was the idiot, I should've fought for you" he whispered, "for your love" he smiled at her, she had a little blush.

"Derek, you hurt me" she said, "in one of the most horrible ways in fact" she sighed and started to unbutton her shirt, "I loved you like I've ever loved anybody, I didn't want to forget you" she took it off, revealing her tattoo, there were three arrows.

"What's that?" he asked.

"Do you know what a tattoo of an arrow means? They mean protection, and love, these are three people that I have loved, but they hurt me, and I try to protect from people like them" she explained, touching her tattoo, "your last name is Archer, that's why I decided about the arrows"

"Can I know who those represent?" he asked, with a sad tone.

"The one that I used to call mother, Catherine, and you" Jade said, "guess I'll have to update this shit" she chuckled sadly.

"You never got one for your father?"

"I never felt that much connection with him, until I came here, and he showed as the caring dad" she had a sad look, "I started to think I really had someone in my life with Tory, but turns out she was fake as everyone else"

"I'm really sorry, Jade" he caressed her shoulder, "I know that this maybe won't fix anything, but you can count on me" he took her hand, "whenever you need me, I'll be there" he left a small kiss in her hand, "I still love you", he sighed,  "I know that you are tired of romance right now, so I'll wait if you decide to give it another shot" he kissed her forehead, "I'll wait all my life, if it's necessary, because you are worth it" he kissed her cheek, stand up and started to walk away.

"Derek, wait" she told him.

"Yeah?" he turned around, she took his hand.

"I want to go from here" he squeezed it, "with you"

"You know that escaping isn't the way to solve your problems," he told her.

"Yes, that is why I will solve everything before we leave" she reassured, "and I know how"

"How much time you need?" he asked.

"For how long are you gonna stay here?" she asked back.

"The rest of the week," he answered, and took her shirt, "can you put this? Please, I feel bad looking at you if you are from another person"

"All right, that's enough," she smiled, and buttoned the shirt.

"Are you sure about it, Jade?" he said, looking in her eyes, they shined green with happiness, like the first time they met.

"I haven't been more sure about anything else," she said, giving him a full smile.

"All right, we will see each other these days" he gave her a kiss at the top of her head, "take care, princess" with that he exited the bedroom.

"They are gonna wish that they never messed with Jade Silver" she smiled and took her phone, she had some messages from Tory.

She decided to leave them like that, she didn't open them, she analyzed the situation, had lunch and went quickly to sleep.

~Time skip until the next day~

Jade woke up, took a shower, ordered something for breakfast, put on her clothes and ate.

She opened the messages from the last day.

Tory:

"Why are you not at school?"

"Jade, where the hell you are?"

"Maybe at my house?" she replied sarcastically, but she didn't text it.

Tory:

"LaRusso tried to do something with you?"

"Did she kissed you?"

"I knew it was a bad idea, letting you go with that bitch"

"Why the fuck are you not answering?"

"Are you kidnapped?"

Jade:

"I was exhausted, sorry for not answering,"

Tory:

"Why are you exhausted?"

Jade:

"I didn't rest at all"

Tory:

"You had sex with the LaRusso bitch!?"

"Before we had!?"

"I'm your girlfriend, you should have sex just with me!"

Jade scoffed, "I seriously can't take the hints, of course she just wanted sex" she smirked, "let's give her what she wants"

Jade:

"I didn't"

"I stayed up, thinking about you"

"And you are right, I should just have sex with you, why don't you come over, and we fix that?"

Tory:

"On my way"

Jade smiled, and awaited for Tory, who arrived 10 minutes later, she knew it when she heard a knock.

"Come in, babe" Tory entered the room in a rush.

"I have waited a long time for this," she closed the door quickly, and immediately clashed her lips with Jade's.

"Oh yeah, me too" Jade said, and took off Tory's jacket, while she was unbuttoning Jade's shirt, she took it off.

"What's that?" she asked, pointing at her tattoo.

"A cute tattoo" Jade answered, taking off Tory's t-shirt.

"What does it mean?" she touched her abdomen, passing through her defined abs, her mouth was full of water, and her eyes full of lust.

"Nothing at all" she smiled and kissed Tory again.

Jade carried Tory and placed her in the bed.

She started to kiss her with more fire and intensity.

Tory changed their positions, and she started to kiss and lick Jade's abs.

"Tory, wait" she said between moans, she stopped kissing her abdomen.

"What's wrong?" Tory asked her.

"I need to ask you something," she looked at her straight in the eye, "my dad, will he give you a bonus if you have sex with me?" Tory's heart stopped beating.

"Jade, I- I"

She laughed sadly, and a tear ran down her cheek.

"I knew you were using me" she had a heartbroken expression. "I just wanted to hear it from your lips" her eyes were golden, "I loved you so bad that I couldn't believe it" she sighed and got up from the bed.

"Jade, wait, I can explain," she begged.

"I've heard that before, along with excuses" she looked at Tory, "I can't make the same mistake for the fourth time" there was another tear running down her cheek.

She started buttoning her shirt.

"Jade, I beg you!" Tory tried to grab her arm, but she quickly moved it, her eyes were tightly closed.

"Please let me explain"

She grabbed her arm with great force.

Her eyes snapped open, they were black as night, she looked at Tory, and she knew what was going to happen. Pain.

Someone knocked at the door, Jade death glared at Tory, and went to open the door, Derek was in there, looking at his phone.

"Hey, I was wondering if you could unblock me" he looked up, "oh my... all right, Jade, look at me, focus on me" he said, touching her cheek, "don't make something you will regret, okay?"

"I will not regret it," she said, closing her eyes.

"You will, Jade" he caressed the cheek, Jade opened her eyes, they were slowly turning its natural color, "that's a beautiful colour" he said smiling at her.

Tory stood in there, with an annoyed expression.

"Who the fuck are you and why are you touching my girlfriend?" she asked, putting on her t-shirt.

"Oh, hi" he said, "my name's Derek" he offered his hand, Tory looked at him and denied his hand.

"Derek? Like the cheating ex-boyfriend?" she said, smiling smugly at him.

"That story needs more context" he said, putting his hand back in his pocket, "hey, princess, you feel better now?" he asked Jade, she nodded weakly.

"How did you call her, motherfucker!?" Tory screamed.

"She needs coffee..." he carried Jade, who was trembling, he entered the apartment, later the room and placed her delicately in the bed, "hold up, I'm gonna bring you the coffee" he walked to the kitchen.

"You haven't answered to me!" Tory yelled.

"Keep it down, she needs silence," he said quietly, searching for the coffee maker.

"What are you doing here, douchebag?" Tory asked, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt.

"First of all, you are gonna ruin my shirt" he said, gently pushing her hand, "and why I'm here, doesn't concern you" he said, putting some coffee in the pot.

"What's that supposed to mean?" she said, roughly grabbing the coffee from his hand.

"Oh my god, I'm trying to make something here" he sighed, "I don't think that you are Jade's favourite person right now"

"And how would you know that?"

"One minute ago, she was about to beat you up"

"And what should I do? Thank you for saving my life? I can deal with her!"

"I never said that you should thank me, and she is not an animal who you 'can deal with', now if you excuse me I need to continue doing this" he said, boiling some water. Some minutes of silence passed.

"She likes it with two sugars, in case you didn't know"

"They are three sugars"

"Well, excuse me for not knowing with how many fucking sugar she likes it"

"I suppose it didn't come in the 'how to be a fake girlfriend and play with her heart' manual," he said, pouring the coffee in the mug.

"And it came in 'how to be a cheater'?"

"I'm a cheater, and I admit it, I admit it to her when I did it, but I didn't have a choice, I was threaten, you accepted for money"

"I accepted because I'm not like you or Jade, you are spoiled rich guys!" she yelled.

"Keep it down!" he whispered-screamed.

"I DON'T FUCKING CARE!" she screamed louder, "I DIDN'T HAVE A CHOICE EITHER!"

"Yes you did!" he talked louder, "and the choice was..."

"Telling the truth!" a chorus from both Jade's and Derek's voices were heard, Jade was leaned against a wall.

"Jade..." Tory tried to talk.

"Oh, save it" Jade said, taking the mug from Derek's hands, he mumbled an 'excuse me' and went to the living room, leaving them alone.

"Look, I'm sorry, I didn't want to tell you because you will be mad" Tory said, "and everything we build will go to the shit"

"We can't build anything based in lies" Jade answered, drinking the hot beverage, "you never cared about me, you cared about Cobra Kai, and yourself"

"You need to believe me," Tory said.

"I'm not believing any word that comes out of your mouth" Jade said drinking more, "Derek, come here"

Derek appeared from the back.

"Tell me, Jade," he said, sighing.

"How much time has passed since we broke up?"

"A year and nine months"

"A year and nine months" she said taking his hand, "How much time we were dating?"

"A year, a month and 13 days" he said.

"I loved this idiot for that time" Jade said, "and I sent him straight to hell when he cheated"

"I'm not like him," Tory said, crossing her arms.

"No, you aren't" Jade said, looking at her in the eye, "you are worst" she chuckled, "want to know something? We made love 7 months later, because I asked him to, we were dating for a month, and you just thought about sex all the time" Derek blushed, "you are just as my ex"

"That isn't true!" Tory yelled.

"It is! And you know what? I made love with him, because he loved me back! You wanted something as carnal as sex! You are exactly as Catherine" Jade said, with her eyes turning darker, Derek took the empty cup from her hands and pour more, he returned it to her.

"Well, excuse me for wanting to know you! And why the hell were you texting me to come if you weren't gonna have sex with me!?" she asked-screamed.

"Because I wanted to test you!" Jade answered, Derek caressed her shoulder to keep her calm.

"And how did you found out!?" she pointed at her.

"Easy, I hacked your phone, and I heard your little conversations with my dad" she took another sip from her coffee, "both of you thought I was an idiot" she chuckled, "you definitely didn't know me" she chuckled, "oh, and I tripped with a mysterious box, when I was going out of your house that time in the early morning".

"You hacked my phone!? That's fucking illegal!" she cried out.

"Cry as much as you want, it doesn't change anything, we are done" Jade said, with a confident gaze and tone, she picked up Tory's jacket an threw it at her.

"Why are you doing this?" she was sobbing.

"Because I'm leaving, and I don't want to let anything pending" Jade said, smiling smugly at her, "your love was like rhinestones, they look like real diamonds, but they are just as fake as their owner" she chuckled, "took me long enough to realize the truth"

"You are an insensitive bitch!" she snatched the coffee from her, and threw it, but Derek got in the way and covered Jade, he made a painful expression, the coffee was hot.

"Damn it" he cussed, "this wasn't a cheap t-shirt" he whispered.

"You are the worst the person that ever stepped foot in this planet! Your ex was right! You are a cold-hearted bitch!" she screamed, "I can't believe I ever liked you!"

Jade scoffed, "see? It hurts you that much saying love? Even when you are screaming at me, you can't pronounce it"

"Because I never felt that towards you! I just wanted to fuck you! You are just good for being a fucking pretty face! Why do you think everybody has a crush on you? Because they want to have sex with you!" she exclaimed.

"Thanks for telling me the truth, Tory, a month later, but thank you," Jade said. now with a hurt expression.

"I'm gonna ask you to leave" Derek said, he glared at Tory, while holding Jade who was trembling.

"Pfft, don't ask me twice" she said, leaving the room, and closing loudly the door.

"Hey, Jade" he touched her chin, he could feel how her lower lip trembled, "you can't let her win, she is using your insecurities, it's the lowest way to get revenge" he left a kiss in her forehead, "you are the stronger woman I've ever met, some girl like her doesn't stand a chance against you are the most caring girlfriend that anyone can wish for, and the planet is better if you are in it" he kissed her knuckles.

"Derek..."

"Yeah?"

"Let's finish this and remake our lives in any other part of the world"

"That's my Jade" he kissed her cheek, and gave her a reassuring smile.

"I bet you would like to make pay the next person, my dad" she smiled.

"I'll" he caressed her knuckles, "but this is your time, not mine"

"Well, I need you for my plan," she smiled.

"I'm there for it," he said, smiling.

"Derek, I don't remember if your lips are soft, can I remind it?" she said, leaning closer.

"I'd love to, but I think the best is if we wait a little, I don't want your ex to chase me down," he chuckled.

"Probably is the best" she said, a little sad.

"Don't worry, princess" he kissed the top of her head, "I'm not leaving anytime soon, I promise"

Who wants to go and cry? Effectively, Jade found out, she isn't a dumb girl. Tory and Jade are no longer a thing, and looks like Jade still has feelings for Derek, BTW, don't hate him, he is a good guy.
