Tory's POV:

"So, you need me to tell her to stay?" I ask, understanding nothing.

"Kind of" I tilt my head confused "My daughter it's a hopeless romantic, that's something nobody knows"

"Misses Silver it's incredibly loyal, if she thinks that a person deserves her attention, she will stick by their side." Sensei Kreese adds.

"And if she sticks by their side, she will stay and coach the cobras, and we will win the All-Valley" I make a frown clearly of confusion.

"So, what do you say?" Sensei Kreese asks me.

"I don't get it, clarify it to me," I tell them straight to the point.

"Oh my god, I want you to date her," Sensei Silver sighs.

"WHAT!?" I'm not interested to date a stubborn celebrity!

"Okay, calm down," Sensei Silver tells me.

"I'm not gonna calm down! She seems like a horrible person! 10 minutes ago, she was beating me up!" I stand up.

"It's a good deal, Nichols"  Sensei Kreese tells me. 

"Yes! I know, but I feel like a prostitute or some shit!" I exclaim.

"Come on, she is not that terrible," Sensei Silver says, clearly offended.

"How should I know? My first impression of her was a punch to the face!" I yell, "And the second impression was she screaming at you! What should I think, Sensei?"

"Give her a chance, go and have lunch with her, she'll make you accept, plus, it's a challenge, and I know you like those" Sensei Silver tells me offering his hand.

"I will have lunch with her, but she is paying!" I tell him, closing the deal.

"Happy lunch, Nichols," Sensei Kreese tells me.

"Give this to her" Sensei Silver tells me, offering a necklace with a jade stone, "tell her that she forgot it" I take the necklace and head out of the office, "she might be by the 7-Eleven around the corner!"  I hear him screaming.

"Dude, are you okay?" Rickenberger asks me.

"Yeah, I'm gonna eat lunch, see ya" I say, leaving the Cobra Kai dojo.

I'm in shock, I mean, yeah, I want that benefits that Sensei offered to me, but that girl, Jade, seems so complex, I don't mind dating a girl, but, this isn't a normal girl, this is the Jade Silver, the heartbreaker girl, the most pretty teenager of the decade, the youngest black belt ever. I have heard about her, but she looks like if she has 30 walls surrounding her, I don't think I will be able of breaking those walls, and her letting me in.

I didn't notice, and I'm in front of the 7-Eleven, there is someone with a hood and light brown hair sat in a chair, I would say that's Jade, I decide to enter.

"Hey" I greeted her.

"What?" she was violently attacking a noodle soup. Is it normal that someone looks that sexy murdering a noodle? She looked at me with her green eyes, she was making a scowl. "Really? Now he sends a minion?" she turns to her soup again.

"Mm, I-I" I start babbling, come on, Tory. Grow up!

"You, you" she mocked me. 

"Here, you left this at the dojo," I tell her, pulling out the necklace.

"Oh, thanks" she puts on the necklace "hey, sorry for you know, beating you up" she scratches the back of her head.

"No problem, we were on a karate dojo, that's the point" I let out my hand "I'm Tory, by the way"

"Well, mister Silver already yell it, but I'm Jade" she says chuckling, accepting my hand, "aren't you tired? Take a seat, Nichols," she points to the seat next to her.

"Hey, what did you do on the dojo?" I ask her, while seating,  "You know, to let me on the floor that easily"

"That technique is a Quicksilver" she answered to me.

"How it works?"

"I'll teach you, one day" she drinks a little of soup, "do you want something? I'll pay"

"Sure, I'll take a salad" I answer to her, she stands up and comes back with 3 different options.

"Decide, and keep the other two," she says, handing me the three salads.

"Thanks, Jade" I open a spring salad.

"How long have you been training in Cobra Kai?" she asks me.

"Since last summer" I answer to her.

"Well, you are very talented. You put up a good fight, Miss Nichols," she said, mocking Sensei Kreese's voice.

I laugh at her comment, maybe this girl isn't that bad.

"Hey, when are you leaving?" I asked.

"Next Thursday" she answered.

"You have almost a week"

"Yep"

"Hey, would you like to hang out with me the Sunday?" I nervously asked.

"Sure, where?" 

"I don't know, you pick"

"Kay, pass me your phone" she said holding out a hand.

"What for?" I said pulling it out.

"My number" Jade typed and return it to me "here, you should put a password".

"Thanks" I said, putting it again in my pocket.

"See ya later, hottie" she winked and leave the place.

I felt my cheeks warm, damn, DAMN, DAMN!, that girl is a flirt. I left the 7-Eleven, and head to my house.

I enter and saw my brother playing in the living room with some toys.

"Hey, Tory!" he greeted me with a grin and a hug.

"Hey, Tyler, how's mom doing?" I ask him.

"Well, she has been watching television all day, oh god! What happened to you?" he says, pointing to my newly bruised face, courtesy of Jade.

"Nothing, Ty, we were sparring" I tell him, "don't worry, kiddo".

"Okay, I'm going to sleep, goodnight" he kisses my cheek and leaves. I knock on the door of my mom's room.

"Hey, mom, how you doin'?" I sat on the corner of the bed.

"Hey, sweetie, today I'm feeling better" she says with a slight cough.

"I almost have all the money for this month of rent," I tell her.

"Don't worry about it, sweetie," she tells me in the most calmly way possible, "everything will be solved soon"

"I hope so, mom" I give her a kiss on the forehead, "goodnight" I went outside.

Maybe, everything will be solved if I accept the deal with Sensei Silver, I can become a softie with my family, and we really need the money, I would do whatever for them. My mind immediately goes to the green-eyed girl, she doesn't seem like a bad person as I thought. Another question enters my mind, why she asked for my phone? But not my phone number? So I look like an idiot because she gave me a fake number? I'm that focused on all the possibilities that the buzz at my pocket freaks me out, I look at the phone, there was a new message:

✨Jade ✨: 

Hey, hottie. Getting your phone number was hard work, you have an interesting record BTW. 

What!? She saw my records? But that's in the Sensei's office! She sneak in!? 

Me:

What the hell did you found!? And how did you!?

✨Jade ✨: 

Jeez, calm down, Nichols. I'm not confessing my crime with a text message.

Me:

OMG! YOU BREAK IN?!

✨Jade ✨:

And the winner of the award as Captain Obvious, it's Tory Nichols! Look out, your ship, it's gonna crash!

I decide to ignore her, she is starting to annoy me, plus, she couldn't ask like a normal person for my phone number?

✨Jade ✨:

Come on, Nichols. I was kidding, I didn't see all the record. Just your phone number and direction.  

Me:

Why the hell would you want my direction? To come and kidnap me, criminal?

✨Jade ✨:

Nop, so I can go and pick you up the Sunday. I know where we are going. Plus, I wouldn't tell you my criminal plan through text messages, I'm not an amateur.

Me:

I don't know what to think about that, Jade. But I guess I might sleep with an open eye, it's not like I don't trust you.

✨Jade ✨:

Ow, that hurt my ego, Nichols. Whatever, go and sleep or some shit.

Me:

Goodnight.

✨Jade ✨:

Yeah, yeah. Same. 

Is she upset? I don't care at all, at least she doesn't look like a spoiled rich girl, like LaRusso, I wish I was able of defeating her once and for all in front of everyone in the valley, that means two things: We need Jade coaching, so we have more opportunities, and for that, she needs to stay.

I sigh and pull out my phone, and start calling.

"So?" the male voice of my sensei answers.

"I accept the deal, sensei," I tell him.

"Good, you are a loyal Cobra and daughter, Nichols" he hangs up, leaving me in the line.

Guess I am, next step, try to win Jade Silver's heart, a quite difficult task, but not like I cannot accomplish it.
