With You

You were flying in the air, admiring the view of the bright blue sky, as Summer rested her head on your chest. You looked behind you to see Vertigo on the back of the knight he summoned, and was flying behind you. You searched around for a while, and saw the village you had originally came from before setting off towards Mountain Glenn. You saw the Mayor, Michael, talking to a few people outside, and civilians were looking up in the sky.

???: Hey look!

???: It's those huntsman!

???: They're back!

Michael: Huh?

He looked up to see you descending down next to him. Once you landed, you put Summer down, and released your armor.

Y/N: Nice to see you again, Mayor.

Michael: Ahhh, you're back! Thank goodness you two are okay.

Summer: How have things been while we were gone?

Michael: Nothing too problematic. A few grimm would walk around the perimeter, but nothing we can't take care of.

Y/N: Well, unfortunately, we're not going to be staying too long. We're just here to pick our things up, and then head back to Vale.

Michael: Alright, I'll fetch you a bullhead. You two go on ahead.

Y/N: Thank you.

You and Summer walked back to the inn you previously stayed at, and when you walked in, you greeted Elizabeth with a smile and wave.

Y/N: Yo!

Elizabeth: Ohh! You're back! Thank goodness!

She ran up to you, and grabbed a hold of both your hands and stared into your eyes, as you stared awkwardly back.

Y/N: Y-Yeah, well, we're just here to get our stuff, and check out.

Elizabeth: Aww, do you have to go? I mean, you could always stick around and have more uhhh *traces finger on chest and has seductive smile* more fun~

Y/N's Thoughts: Ohh no....

*BONK*

You were knocked out cold by Summer, as she slung you over her shoulder. She gave Elizabeth the scariest death glares of them all.

Summer: *Yandere eyes* We're leaving.

Chibi Elizabeth: *scared tone* o-o-okay..

Summer carried you to the room, and dropped you on the bed, and began to pack.

At The AirDocks

You had an icepack taped to your head as you stood in front of Michael.

Michael: I wish you the best of luck. You have our hope and beliefs with you.

Y/N: Thank you, Michael.

Summer: We appreciate everything you've done for us.

Michael: *chuckles* It was an honor to assist the two of you in your journey.

Y/N: We'll be back with our daughter once we're done with things in Vale.

Michael: Take care!

???: WAIT!!!!

You looked behind Michael, and saw Vertigo running towards the bullhead.

Y/N: Nu uh, I am not going to be annoyed to death, I need peace and quiet.

You and Summer boarded the bullhead, and waved once last time Michael, and all the other villagers who came to see you off. The doors shut, and you walked towards the cockpit, while Summer sat down.

Summer: What're you doing?

Y/N: Just gonna call in, let Ozpin know we're coming back.

Summer: Hurry up, I need you as my pillow.

You rolled your eyes, and entered the cockpit. After getting permission to use the comms, you called Ozpin, and you saw he was in his office.

Ozpin: Ahhh, Y/N, I see you're returning. What's this? No halo above your head, this means you were successful.

Y/N: Yes, and not only that we've made a few allies as well.

Ozpin: That's good to hear. Would you like me to inform Ms.Rose of your return?

Y/N: No, we'll surprise them.

Ozpin: As you wish, well, I'll let you go now, you look tired. Get some rest.

Y/N: Thank you, Ozpin.

He nodded, and the call ended. You walked back to Summer, and laid down on the seats, as she crawled up on you, and laid her head on your chest.

Summer: Mmmmm~ This is so comfy~

Y/N: Thanks.

You chuckled and wrapped your arms around her. Slowly, the two of you began to drift away, and let sleep overtake the both of you.

Timeskip, At Beacon, Emma's Class

Emma: Now, can anyone tell me why the grimm always travel apart from other species?

Ruby, her friends, along with Seth, who was asleep in his chair, were all in class, taking notes....well...everyone else was. Ruby wasn't really paying attention, and instead, like a little kid, sketching a picture of you, Summer, and her in front of their home. Yang noticed this, and smiled.

Yang's Thoughts: She's been so excited about Uncle Y/N coming back to life. I'm so happy, not only does my little sis get her dad back, but I get my favorite uncle, which means...

She smirked while looking forward.

Yang's Thoughts: I can convince him to get me that new bike I've been looking at.

Emma: Yang, Ruby!

They both snapped their heads up and looked nervous.

Ruby&Yang: Yes, ma'am!

Emma: Pay attention please, I promised Mr.L/N that you all would be kept up to date on your studies.

Ruby: Why don't you just call dad by his first name?

Emma: *sigh* Yes, he may be my older step-brother, but in class, we are to act as professionals. Now, please pay attention.

Ruby: Yes, ma'am.

Emma's Thoughts: Ruby can only think about her mom and dad. I can't blame her, I've been thinking about them as well. They've been gone for longer than expected. I hope they're alright.

Emma: Now, can anyone tell me-

She was cut off by the sound of her scroll ringing. She sighed, and walked over to it, and answered.

Emma: Whoever this is, it's not a good time. Please, call me later. Goodbye-

Y/N: Is that anyway to talk to your older brother?

Emma: Y/N?

Y/N: Hey, how's my class doing?

Emma: Umm...

She looked to her class, and quickly stepped outside.

Emma: Where are you? You've been gone for longer than you said.

Y/N: I know, but we faced some pretty tough obstacles before hand.

Emma: Well. did you succeed?

Suddenly, she heard a voice that was right next to her ear.

???: Why don't you turn around and find out?

She quickly snapped back, and saw you and Summer standing there with smiles. But what she really noticed was that you no longer had a halo over your head. She teared up, and jumped into your arms.

Emma: Y/N! OHH MY OUM! YOU'RE BACK! YOU'RE ALIVE!!

Y/N: *chuckles and pats her head* Yeah, I am kiddo.

She pulled away and wiped her tears with her arm. She was so happy you were back, and grabbed your wrist.

Emma: Come on, your class will be super excited to see you! Especially Ruby!

Y/N: Wait.

You stopped, and made her turn around.

Emma: What is it?

Y/N: Does Ruby have Incursio's key with her?

Emma: It's by my desk, why?

Y/N: Tell her to summon the armor, I wanna have some fun.

Emma: But...we're in the middle of class.

Y/N: Excuse them for it then.

Emma: But-...*sigh* you're still crazy as ever.

Y/N: Thank you.

She rolled her eyes, and walked back into the class. She walked up to Incursio's key, and took a hold of it, lifting it off the ground.

Emma: Ruby, can you summon your armor and weaon please?

Ruby: Huh? But, why?

Emma: Please, just come down. There is someone here who wishes to see you.

Ruby: Uh..o-okay.

She walked down, and took hold of her scythe. She stabbed it into the ground, and called forth her armor, without saying anything, for she trained constantly while you were away.

Emma: You may come in now.

Ruby stared at the door, waiting to see who would walk through, then you began to speak, but in a tone she could not recognize.

Y/N: I see you have trained well with that Imperial Arms. You are very strong indeed, but can you take me on?

A bright light appeared and disappeared in the doorway, and the sound of metal boots clanged against the ground.

Y/N: But...can you handle....

From the door way, you appeared in Galliard's armor, with spear in hand, cape flowing freely. Behind her mask, Ruby was shocked.

Y/N: Incursio's brother, Galliard? Behold, Galliard's armor, the second tyrant-dragon to be made into an Imperial Arms.

Ruby's Thoughts: It's...It's almost amazing..

She stared in awe at it, as you approached the center of the room. Everyone was now at the edge of their seats, waiting to see what would happen.

???: Whoa! Check it out!

???: It looks incredible!

???: That's so awesome!

Jaune: Whoa, who is this guy?

Ren: I do not know, but his power seems formidable.

Weiss: But, the real question is...

Yang: Is he our ally?

You stood in front of Ruby, and readied your spear, your eyes visible through the slit in the helmet. She saw those burning red eyes, and it made her shiver.

Y/N: Now then, shall we begin? Let's put your training to the test.

Ruby snapped out of her gaze, and readied herself. Her eyes glowed yellow, and she tightened her grip around her weapon, and pointed it to her.

Ruby: If you're looking for a fight, you got one.

Y/N: *chuckles* Good...that's good.

Y/N's Thoughts: You like way stronger than before, I couldn't be anymore prouder of you. Now, then, let's put it to the test.

Ruby: Come on then, mister.

Y/N: Right, here I come!

You both dashed forward towards each other, and your explosive battle against your daughter, has now begun.
